Overall, the villa was great and just as advertised. The staff were absolutely wonderful and were always on standby if we needed anything. However, there were some flaws that were quite annoying, although nothing dealbreaking.First of all, the villa only had enough hot water for half of a shower. We were nine guests in the villa, which meant that only half a person could use the hot water. It would then take perhaps 5–6 hours before you could get another half a shower’s worth of hot water. Also, when you did use the hot water, the pressure was at most around 20%. This was definitely the biggest flaw, but still nothing that made the stay bad.Another thing I would like to mention is the door. We were nine guys, and we all tried to lock the door. One of us succeeded once. Every other time, we had to leave the door unlocked because we simply could not lock it. We tried everything: lifting the door, tilting it, wiggling the key — EVERYTHING. This is something the owners were already aware of, so my recommendation would be to fix the door so guests don’t have to leave their house and belongings unlocked. Thankfully, the villa is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood where almost no one would break in.Lastly, I would just like to give a recommendation to anyone who will be staying here: visit Castello di Torre in Pietra. We booked a wine tasting through Winedering for 30 per person. Trust me, you will not find a better wine-tasting experience anywhere for that price.
