Escape to our Dahlonega retreat, nestled off Black Mountain Road amidst Cherokee National Forest and historic Yahoola Creek, part of the North GA Gold Rush. Just 6.8 miles from Downtown, explore wineries on the 'Georgia Wine Highway' or hike the Chattahoochee National Forest right outside.

Sleeps 10: 2 King, 2 Queen, 1 Double with Pullout Single. With nature-inspired decor, our mountain home exudes charm. High wooden ceilings and ample windows fill the space with natural light.

Relax in the living area with an L-shaped couch, flat-screen TV, and fireplace overlooking the meadow and creek.

The fully equipped kitchen boasts granite countertops and essential appliances for easy meal prep. Seating for 8 at the dining table and additional seating in the formal living room and kitchen.

Main floor master with his-and-her closets, sinks, walk-in shower, and garden tub. Two queen rooms share a bathroom. Top floor offers a private queen room with its own bathroom and walk-in shower.

Enjoy serene views and crisp mountain air. Hike trails, explore Yahoola Creek, and visit Dahlonega's shops, restaurants, and wineries.

The house was wonderful. It was well stocked and super nice. The only downside is the WiFi didn’t work but the internet service was fine. I would most definitely stay again.

It was a beautiful spacious home. My only complaint is that there were no hooks in the bathrooms to hang your towels up when you get out of the shower.

We stayed here for three nights and the house exceeded our expectations. It’s much bigger than the listing makes it seem. Two or even three families of four could comfortably stay here. It felt like a great value for the space and location.Our kids absolutely loved the creek behind the house and spent a lot of time exploring it. The location was perfect—close to town and an easy base for exploring the mountains and the mountain towns to the north.The house had everything we needed for our family, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We’ll definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in the area.The only minor gripe was that I couldn’t find a good spot to hang up a towel, but that didn’t take away from an otherwise excellent stay.

Great place with something for everyone!

This location is perfect for a large family like ours. We had ages 20-80 and everyone enjoyed this getaway! From the beautiful home itself to the gorgeous natural areas to the games and entertainment it was a win for us all! Exceptionally clean which is very important to us! Highly recommend!

This was a great house. Our entire family was able to stay in one spot for our son's wedding. It was a beautiful setting. Unfortunately we were not able to get down to the creek. My mom said we need to come back here again.

Excellent Property Great Location

This is a gorgeous property in an excellent location with a gorgeous view! My family and I had a wonderful relaxing time in this thoughtfully stocked, well cared for, bear themed cabin. Definitely recommend!

Great spot. Not too far from town, but just far enough. The yard is gigantic and grassy and the running creek is an important element of the property not to be overlooked. Huge game room in the basement with ping pong and spikeball (could use a pool table and/or foosball!). It serves well as a place for a family retreat with kids.

Great Weekend Getaway!

The house was large and well-stocked. It’s a beautiful location right on the creek. We had plenty of room for everyone. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely go back. Maybe for a longer stay next time!

EXPECTATIONS EXCEEDED!

Great home on an absolutely beautiful property. Way more spacious than the photos. There is a huge game room downstairs and bedrooms on every level. The backyard and trail to the water was perfect for us. We fished, tubed, hiked and sunbathed all from the back yard.

Beautiful Spot in the country

The property lived up to expectations and lies in a beautiful location. Accomodation fully met our family needs. The property is a little off the main road and is a secluded quite location. Well appointed with all the amenities we required. Would recommend this property for a family getaway.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

My husband and I stayed here for my son's wedding along with my mom and all my siblings and their children as well. There was ample room for everyone! This house is truly amazing! My nephew even caught a trout in the stream in the back yard. The property is 100% private and beautiful! The owner was phenomenal with communicating with us.I would definitely recommend this beautiful home,

Perfect Getaway in Country

Everything was as pictured. Seemed bigger than what it looked like in pictures! My kids loved being on the creek. It was very nice the amount of bathrooms so every group had their own. Beautiful and peaceful view.

Everything was excellent. The view was great. Many areas within 30 minutes to hike. The house was nice. Had everything we needed. All the bedrooms were nice. The beds were comfortable. Loved the creek behind the house. Everyone had a great time.

Spectacular property with lovely view

I gifted my children and grands a mini-vacay for Christmas and picked this treasure as our lodging. We absolutely loved this beautiful home with an exceptional creek view. Check in was a breeze and there was plenty of room for all of us to be together or have a little privacy. Everything we needed or wanted was provided! We were about 6 minutes from downtown Dahlonega and about 25 minutes from all the fun in Helen. I will definitely book again during the summer so the children can picnic on the lawn and enjoy the creek. Don't think twice, this is absolutely the family getaway you're looking for!

Cousin Reunion

We are a family who is getting older and tired of seeing each other at funerals. We started this last year and plan on continuing. We are from TX, IL and GA. This home was perfect for all of us. Five bedrooms, large dining room table, a lot of bathrooms, and located in a beautiful location in N GA. We were close to many things to do or just stay and enjoy the location. The kitchen has everything and then some. If we do this again in GA I hope it will be available. What a memorable and wonderful time we all had.

Wedding weekend

Our family of 10 from Pennsylvania and California stayed here for a Labor Day wedding. The house was beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. There was plenty of room and the screened in porch was a great place to relax with a morning coffee. The house is in a very private location and yet close to anything you may need. Highly recommended.

Siblings Birthday retreat

My husband and I rented this exceptional home for a birthday retreat with his four siblings along with their spouses. The home was exceptional in location and size. Very well furnished in the kitchen and with linens for all 5 bedrooms. We all enjoyed the creek, the view and especially the screen porch . Thank you for sharing

Better than advertised

This vrbo looked nice enough online, but they need better photos-it is wonderful. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, fully stocked with extra linens and towels, has a perfect screened in porch to listen to a babbling brook at the bottom of the hill. There is also National Forest on two sides, a path to the creek and on into the forest to a small waterfall. Simply lovely!!
