Dear visitor to Rio de Janeiro,

You will feel very comfortable in our gorgeous 2-bedroom ocean view Copacabana apartment.

Why are we so sure about it?

Because we love to stay in this apartment also, when it is not rented to you. We made sure that our renovation added all the amenities needed for ultimate comfort: Jacuzzi, bar, computer workspace with high speed internet connection, three plasma TVs with cable TV, a full home entertainment system, and much more.

We gutted the whole place and re-built it from the ground up. Example: No cheap and noisy window air conditioners. We have three ultra quiet high capacity wall mounted air conditioners.

And then we mulled over the color scheme--and came up with the cool elegance you see in the pictures. You will feel cozy and comfortable!

We spent way too much money on this apartment--living up to the motto that your place away from home should be even better than your home--and we know we have succeeded here.

We really hope that there will be SOME gaps between the rentals, so we can enjoy our wonderful place also....

Absolutely wonderful

We loved the apartment. It was very safe and we were able to park in front with minimum effort. Near the beach & the manage/host and owner both are very responsive and helpful, providing lots of info and friendly advice. When we come back to Rio, we will stay here again.

Ive not taken a trip where i rented someones apartment before. I could have not aked for more. They reached out to me before i traveled and helped me with visas, airport transportation, and events when i arrived. I was greeted upon arrival in person with maps, guides and keys. The trip was in rio over carnaval and the building had its own security. Location was perfect. On copacabana beach mear Ipanema. This was a bucket list item for us so we were hoping for things to go well and they went way over and above. Not sure what else we could have asked. Thank you andreas and peter

Very nice apartment in a great location

I can't over emphasize the location only a few meters from Copacabana Beach! The apartment is also very nice and beautifully decorated. Also it was very hot when we were there and the air conditioning in the apartment did a great job of keeping us comfortable. It has a water filter which is a nice touch because it eliminates the need to always go and buy bottled water at the grocery store, which by the way, is right around the corner. In fact, everything you need is only a short walk away. The apartment is on the 8th floor which eliminates a lot of the street noise below. We stayed there for a month and really wanted to stay longer. One more thing, the property manager, Peter, speaks fluent English and was always there when we needed him for anything. The owner, Andreas, is a very nice person who made sure that our stay went well. Security is good as there is a door man or woman there 24/7 to screen all persons entering the building. The internet connection there is fast so I was able to use my Roku to see a lot of U.S. tv stations. All in all, I would gladly return for another stay there.

A Terrific place to stay in Copacobana, Rio De Janeiro

Hi Andreas and Peter I was so grateful that you guys were able to accommodate my family and I during the the week of June 12 - 19. Because of the UN RIO + 20 conference it was difficult for us to find a place to stay in Rio. We had a very enjoyable stay in Rio with the help of your beautiful, elegant, clean, spacious apartment. My son was able to have a lot of room crawling around the dining/living room area. The beds were comfortable. The jacuzzi works well. The kitchen was quite adequate for cooking meals and the Wi-Fi works really well. The apartment was very quiet and we didn't notice any traffic noise coming from the street which is great for sleeping late as my baby keeps me awake all night. As you know, we Americans expect more for our money in terms of amenities and your apartment has met and exceeded our expectation. Much better deal than staying in hotels that do not meet our expectations. Also, I wanted to say thank you to Peter who checked us in and out of the apartment. He is very courteous and friendly and very helpful. We are looking forward to renting from you guys again in the future. Thank you guys.

Perfect location, wonderful amenities, and great people

My family had a wonderful time in the apartment for over two weeks. My wife and I live in another part of Rio de Janeiro but when we had three family members visiting from the United States, we all decided that it would be nice to rent a place near the ocean. And it was fantastic! The place is spacious and sunny and has a great view of the ocean (not to mention the sound of the crashing waves). There was a ton of space to relax even with 5 people. We really appreciated that it was set back from the main road and the bedrooms are on the interior of the building, so there is almost no traffic noise when sleeping. There are a lot of little things in this place that make it stand out, such as the washer/dryer, the water filter, the hot tub, and the wifi and printer. And the location is fantastic! It's in Copacabana near some of the wonderful places there (for example, don't miss Bip-bip, a small samba bar just two blocks away) and just a short walk from Ipanema. This allows you to enjoy both beaches, which are quite different from each other, while also being close to all of the other attractions Rio has to offer. Both the owner and local property manager were very responsive and wonderful to work with. They had great suggestions for making the stay more enjoyable. I would have a hard time believing that this place could be beat for the price!

Fantastic location and excellent service

Great combination of a very nice place, with a great location and amazing service. Andreas was great from day one since I booked it. He sent me a very thourough document with do and don'ts for a Río de Janeiro visit. Even though that Andreas doesn't live in the area, he is very well represented by Peter. Our flight was an early arrival flight and he let us take a nap in one of the bedrooms while they were still cleaning the rest of the unit. That nap was worth a million! Thanks Peter! Peter sat down with us and showed us a map with key things to visit. I took a picture of it and had it in my phone for reference. Peter coordinated a driver to picked us at the airport, which I strongly recommend for the arrival. It was great to know that someone was waiting for you with a sign and then took us to the right place including the security guard clearance. For the departure, UBER is probably a better option, however, we prearranged both with Peter. The AlC units are a lot better than any hotel's unit. We slept very well. The beach is just across the street and the security is very good. Next door to the the apt, there is a very nice breakfast place called Appetite. We went there every day, nice expresso and omelettes for 1/3 of the cost of the hotel next door. UBER worked fantastic for us. We had dinner in Leblon Restaurants and went to the beach every day in both Copacabana and Ipanema. There are plenty of restaurants at walking distance, however, we like to go where locals go, so a $3-4 UBER took us to amazing restaurants. Saludos,

Great apartment in an excellent location

We are four adults who had the opportunity to spend six nights in this apartment and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is located between posto 5 and 6 on the Copacabana which is an excellent location to access the beach, Ipanema beach, the night market and the Copacabana fort. Rio has more taxis than cars so getting anywhere in the city is easy and inexpensive . The apartment is very clean with a large, bright living/dining area that had its own air conditioner. Look out the window to your left and you can see all the action on the beach. The kitchen is well equipped including basic food supplies. There are a number of food markets located close by. The bedrooms are small but clean and comfortable with their own TV, air conditioner, storage, and ensuite. The Jacuzzi , which was located in the room we used, does have a shower located on the wall over the tub. The master bedroom has a regular , good size shower stall. The three TV's in the apartment have an extensive satellite system. The wifi worked well while we were there. The bonus for the apartment is the owner, Andreas, and the property manager/tour guide Peter From the initial contact with Andreas I was impressed. He always responded quickly to emails and addressed all my questions. I was pleasantly surprised one day, after sending an email with a number of questions about Rio, to have him call me and spend an extended period of time discussing my upcoming trip. He went out of his way to make our visit pleasant Peter arranged for airport pick up and met us at the apartment. He spent a considerable amount of time going through the apartment with us to familiarize us with everything and then sat with us going over maps that he provided of Rio. He showed us local markets, atms, restaurants and had many suggestions for what we could see and do...even on rainy cloudy days. He organized a cooking class with 'Cook in Rio' which we enjoyed and made arrangements for us to see an excellent Samba show. Peter is very knowledgeable about the city as well of being very friendly and funny. We also went on a 5 hour custom tour of the city with him which was excellent. We walked a far bit and never felt unsafe but we did follow the advise given to us by peter and used the safe in the apartment I would highly recommend this apartment. You will love the energy of Rio, the luxury of staying in your own apartment and the expertise and support you get from Andreas and Peter.

Excellent Choice

From the moment we arrived to our last day we couldn't have asked for anything more. The communication with Andreas from day one was excellent and when we arrived at the apartment Peter met us and showed us everything we needed to know. The location just across from the beach was excellent. The apartment was beautiful and very spacious and extremely nice. There were great restaurants in walking distance and we even walked downtown several times and did some shopping. There were some local grocery markets just a block away and this was nice. We were centrally located in a great area and visited several of Rio's tourist attractions easily by uber. It felt very safe and there was a lot of police presence in the area and even out walking along the board walk at night was wonderful. I would give Andreas place a 10 and highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Rio. If I ever make it back to Rio I would definitely stay here again. The price was great and trust me you won't be disappointed staying here. Bill

Our stay in Rio was greatly inhanced by this apartment. The location was perfect for view, beach 2 minutes walk, restaurants and banks. We had business in Botofogo at Rio Sul shopping mall, a mere 10 minute taxi ride R$15.00 ( US $5.00 ). The apartment was very clean and spacious. Pete Hult, the manager, was very friendly, and efficient. The owner, Andeas, was also very friendly and very responsive to to me through "Whatsapp" communications app. I hope Andeas's apartment is available for my next visit to Rio. I highly recommend this. Perfect in so many ways!

#1 The location was perfect! Close to the beach, places to eat and safe. #2. The owner Andreas and his Rio manager Peter were easily accessible from booking throughout the entire stay. They were very accommodating and quickly answered questions. #3. The apartment was clean, spacious and beautiful. There was not one thing we would change about this location or experience. We recommend without hesitation!

Extremely close to Beach and nearby amenities from food to souvenirs. Apt. is very safe and cozy.

The apartment had great service starting with the owner Andreas who communicated very quickly and efficiently. He gave us great recommendations to nearby shopping places, which made it easy to decide what places to visit and see. Peter arranged for pick up and drop off to airport and additional transportation needed during our trip. Peter also gave us a private day tour which was great with no wait. The apartment is very welcoming to individuals and famiies, feels just like home. Unit has a great side view to the beach. Air in all rooms made the stay very comfortable. No problems with hot water and filtration system helped a lot as we packed our water everyday. Kitchen is a bit small but feasible for one person to do the cooking. All systems were relatively easy to use, had to get use to stove. Washer and dryer a lil tricky to use and dryer doesn't dry clothes all the way, but there are racks were you can air dry them. A perk to have free wifi (had a bit of trouble connecting, but rebooted and worked well). 24 hour Security in the building made us feel very safe. Outside noise or neighbors we're not a problem, very quite building. Will definitely consider staying here again. Loved loved how close to the beach and al shopping this place was.

Had a great time!

We spent four nights in this apartment and had a wonderful time! Having a nice, comfortable, updated place to stay was a big relief, especially after a long day of sightseeing. The kids had their own bedroom and TV. Minutes from the beach , restaurants, groceries, pharmacy, and a 10 minute walk to the metro, this apartment worked out very well for us. We cooked a few times and did our laundry. What made it stress-free was the knowledge that you could reach someone (Peter) if you had a question or needed something. Andreas was very responsive before we got there. He and Peter arranged for airport transfers and we had no problems getting to and from the airport. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Ideal location and everything you could need

We spent a month in this apartment and were totally comfortable and felt at home. It is amazing how close grocery stores, a bank, the beach and public transport were. We found our way around the city and when we had a question Peter was always available through WhatsApp. Everything went smoothly just as they had said. We would recommend this property wholeheartedly.

THE BEST PLACE TO STAY

What can I say, simply the best place to stay in the best location with the best possible help from Andreas .......... Peter will help you every step of the way and is so obliging. I can't fault this gorgeous place and the gorgeous folks that look after you and the apartment. Well done - simply the best!! I'd go back in a heartbeat. One of my highlights the gorgeous painting of Cristo - such sweet memories xx

All that and a bag of chips!

The four of us were there for World Cup and had an amazing stay. Location, location location. You're literally across the street from Copacabana and a short walk to Ipanema. Everything you need is walking distance and the area is very safe. The apartment is well maintained and has all of the modern accommodations necessary to make your stay an enjoyable one. Although there is a lot going on around you, the unit is relatively quiet. You will not regret it. Andreas is a pleasure to work with and his right hand man, Peter, is very knowledgable/resourceful. Thanks to them, we were able to see many of the top sights in Rio, see a Samba show, hit a night club, take a cooking class and visit a charming colonial town outside of the city. I highly recommend this rental.

Excellent Rental

This was our first time in Brazil and we had a great time. This rental is conveniently located accross the street from the beach close to restaurants, shopping and the supermarket. The owner was EXCELLENT to work with and very very responsive. Peter the property manager was also very helpful. The apartment was large and very clean. The area was very safe and we felt comfortable walking around even very late at night. If you are going to Rio, this is the place to stay!!!! Thank you Andreas and Peter for everything!

Copacabana Apartment

This apartment is situated in perfect location across from the beach, beside a restaurant and only 1 block away from grocery store. Everything is just perfect. The apartment is nice just like in the picture. If we come back to Rio, we would definitely stay in this apartment again. Andreas, thanks for the lovely place and Peter, thanks for all your help for explaining to us all about Rio de Janeiro.

excellent location. walking distance ro beaches, restaurants, cabs easily accessible. near to grocery store, pharmacy Host peter was extremely helpful. kitchen could have been a bit cleaner but overall the apartment was comfortable and well looked after. Both Andreas and Peter are very well organized, all arrangements and transfers went without a hitch, we didn't have to worry about anything. We had a wonderful holiday and would love to go back for Carnival. Peter was an excellent guide and we saw a lot. Definitely would stay there again, highly recommend.

Splendid apartment in Rio!

My adult son and I had a great vacation a few steps from Copacabana beach at this modern and well-equipped apartment. The location couldn't be better: Besides the beautiful beach, there are shops and restaurants right near the apartment and it's even possible to walk to Ipanema. The owner is caring and generous, and gave us helpful advice before and during our visit. He even went to the trouble of retrieving and returning a flash drive I managed to leave in one of the apartment's safes. The rates are quite reasonable too for such a luxurious and spacious apartment. I wouldn't hesitate to return on the next trip. Just a terrific experience all around!

Spacious and smart choice in Rio.

We had a lovely time in Rio, thanks Andreas for letting us use your very nice apartment and thanks Peter for all your recommendations. We were 5 and were all comfortable at all times. Breakfast was easy with the well equipped kitchen and food from the farmers market on Sunday or the supermarket around the corner. We had lunch or dinner at the beach or a restaurant, but made sure to have the pastelillos downstairs at the small restaurant at least once a day! It was winter, but only in the calendar. The weather was ideal, and the cariocas always happy and welcoming.

Great Place to Stay in Copacabana

Thank you Andreas for letting us stay at your flat, we really enjoyed the location and found your property very comfortable. It was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Rio de Janeiro is the most beautiful and vibrant city in the world. Many visitors to Rio book their next trip to Cidade Maravilhosa before they depart.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

It's a normal neighborhood, with restaurants, bars, grocery stores etc. right there. The building has approximately 90% local residents and only 10% rentals. It's 50 yards to the best section of Copacabana beach. It's a big city neighborhhood with all services imaginable, yet our location is quiet and tranquil.
