The Home
Not just a homestay, it's a heritage 500 years old stay nestled in the lap of nature. Located in raithal village, its only 10 km from Bhatwari market. Far away from pollution, noise and chaos, it is rooted in a huge Oak forest and fruit orchard. We have Peach, Plum, Apricot and Apple tree to please fruit lovers. We have a 1 guest room on the first floor, with one common bathroom, a huge balcony overlooking the valley. We have pitched 2 tents in the orchard for adventure lovers. You may also pitch your own tent and pay just for food.
Know your Host
vijay Singh rana and his family are resident of raithal for centuries. Every nook and corner of uttarkashiis so well known to him. He is a simple farmer who loves to talk about nature, farming and social issues. He treats every tree like his own children. He is a good guide and a cook who along with his wife sona takes care of the home and the guests.
Food
We serve freshly cooked local cuisine and North Indian vegetarian food. Non-vegetarian is available only on demand. Most of the vegetables supplied to the kitchen come from our own organic farm. Breakfast is served as per your choice like Paratha with curd or tea, Sandwich, Butter Toast, Bread Omelette or Puri Bhaji. Dinner is served with a combination of north India and gadhwali food. We have a small dairy farm of our own, so you get milk and other dairy product fresh always.
