Charming villa in quiet natural surroundings

We had an excellent two weeks stay in the villa in Rubiães The villa is nicely decorated, the kitchen well equipped and the views from the porch/terrace are grand. The location is perfect, the national park Peneda-Geres and cities like Braga. Guimares, Ponte do Lima and Valenca are within one hour drive. We really enjoyed the pool and the fresh eggs from the chickens every morning were an extra bonus. The host Helena is very friendly and responded very quickly to our questions. Would definitely stay again

Paradise in Minho green valley surrounded by ills.

The house is very well organised and very well located. Seating at the terrace, surrounded by a lawn, a swimming pool and trees , you can hear the silence of the trees and birds while appreciating the landscape of the green valley and ills. The kids enjoyed to feed the chickens and pick up the eggs every day. The house is very well equipped with everything you need. A lovely sun light at sunrise and sunset! The daily supper was delicious , cooked in the barbecue and eaten at the terrace.

Experience at Minho landscape

The house is very well equipped and localised. At the terrace you have a wonderful view over the green valley and ills around. Seating on a pool lounge, looking at that landscape through the swimming pool and lawn you can feel and appreciate the beautiful silence! it was very pleasant to have breakfast with the sun rising behind the house, the lunch under the terrace roof and supper with sunset! The kids loved the swimming pool, although not big, and also to feed the chickens and pick up their eggs every day.

Maison avec belle vue

Dans ce coin du Portugal où les locations de maison sont rares, belle maison au calme dans la campagne avec un très beau jardin. Il ne manque de rien dans la maison a la decoration raffinée. Cela nous a permis de visiter Porto, St Jacques de Compostelle. Petit détail : l annonce dans Abritel n est pas la même que celle du site Homerez qui a publié l offre ( qui est plus détaillée). Nous n avions pas vu qu il n y avait pas la climatisation dans le salon mais seulement dans les chambres et 2 poules au fond du jardin. La propriétaire est charmante et arrangeante quant aux heures de départ et arrivée.

Stunning house and area

Best first and last impression of a holiday house! We had a blast, the host is very friendly and always helpful with any question. The house was very clean, spacy and far more modern compared to internet pictures. The view outside over the hills is very beautiful. The house is equipped with everything you need for a holiday. The only thing we personally did not appreciate was the hardness of the matrasses. If you are looking for a quiet holiday surrounded by nature far away of any touristism, you should consider this house. Thank you for the excellent holiday!

Beautiful spacious house

Beautiful spacious, very clean house in a quite environment in the middle of gorgeous nature. Very nice garden with pool where you want to all day. If you do want to visit cities, there are quite a lot in the vicinity: Braga, Porto and in Spain: Santiago de Compostella. Beach and national park is also not far away. We had a lovely time, and will certainly be back.
