Fitz Family Ozark Getaway!

This place is amazing and totally unique. The interior and exterior of this two-story octagonal structure made sure we felt like we were on vacation even after coming back from excursions. Rather, this place is it's own excursion. The floor to ceiling windows provide amazing views, and it's well shaded by trees that provide solid privacy for sitting out on the upper or lower deck areas. But we spent most of our time swimming, fishing, kayaking, relaxing, and sunning on the cozy octagonal "martini" dock ... it's probably the best spot on the water in this quiet cove. The water was beautifully warm (early August) and we didn't see (or feel!) any plants/seaweed in the water around the dock. It was perfect for my wife who requires warm water to go swimming, and for my kids who may not have gone swimming if there were plants tickling their feet.There's a place that rents boats just 3-5 minutes away by car (and boat) so you can squeeze every minute out of your rental.Dave was very quick with communication, check-in was a breeze, the kitchen and baths are very high quality, and I grilled some of the best steaks we've ever had on the outdoor grill. Thanks Dave, we'll be back.The Fitzgeralds

Great Spot

Great place to stay. Close to shops, grocery store and restaurants. Loved the deck and being right on the water. Place is easy to keep clean, with dog and kids this was appreciated. Communication with Dave was easy - super responsive. Will definitely stay here again.

House in the trees

It was a great place to stay right on the water. It was very clean when we got there. The host always answered any questions quickly. The only problem we had was ants that we had to spray for every once in awhile. Otherwise it was a great place.

Lake Getaway

Relaxed all week in this comfy villa. Fished and swam off our private dock everyday and didn't have a care in the world. Have stayed here multiple times and definitely will again. Reccomend to anybody who is looking for an amazing lake experience

A beautiful and peaceful retreat

This is our second time staying here. We absolutely love everything about the location and the property. There isn't anything we would change about our trip or the house. The beds are very comfortable, its stocked with what we need, and the floor to ceiling windows with all the natural light and lake views make for a perfect getaway. Having access to tge indoor pool and hot tubs make it that much more fun for our kids. Dave is such a wonderful host. He is very responsive, helpful, and so kind. I promise you cannot go wrong with using one of Daves amazing Lake of the Ozarks properties!! Thank you for opening your place to our family!!!

Great place to wind down in Autumn

First time to the area. The property is very unique and relaxing. The area has much to explore. Very nice and clean place to stay.

Great getaway at the lake!

Highly recommend this property right on the lake! Owner is very responsive, unit is very clean and accommodating!! Love the view, and love the dock to fish and just relax on! Stop scrolling you will love this place

Just OK

Didn’t care for all the mirrors, or the spiral staircase. Not a good dining area for family.it was OK for a last minute rental. The deal breaker for us NOT to rent again was there was no view of the main channel.

Gorgeous Lake Hideout

We loved it! Spacious- full of light and immaculately cleaned - well renovated - just all around fantastic. Wished we'd stayed longer! Close to anything & everything while still maintaining a feeling of seclusion. Absolutely loved it 😁

Awesome Property

We had an absolutely fabulous time at this great property! It was exactly as advertised and in a beautiful location right on the water. We loved having a private dock and the kids loved fishing off of it. There was plenty of room for us and our four kids, and the uniqueness of the house itself was so fun. We would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous Tree Top Lake House

We loved everything about our stay. The tree top house was even better than pictured. The floor to ceiling windows with an incredible view, multiple decks, and lake access made for a perfect vacation getaway!! The house was very clean and had all we needed. The location was perfect and so peaceful this time of year (first week in April). Having access to the indoor pool/hot tubs was perfect for our kids. There is absolutely nothing we would change. We had never been to the Lake of the Ozarks but are already planning for a repeat trip next year. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy this stunning location.

Beautiful Fall Location

This was the perfect site for my husband and I and another couple to spend a few days being surrounded by beautiful fall colors and the lake. We are in our 70s so the many stairs to climb or descend was somewhat challenging but worth it!

Was a beautiful place with great views.

Great dock for fishing and relaxing. All rooms were very neat and clean. Host was helpful and always prompt to respond to any of our questions. Very nice area and felt very safe.

Great place right on the lake

We had an excellent stay at this property. The private dock was a major hit with the family. King size beds in every room were great. Host was very accommodating with early/late check-in / check-out. Conveniences such as coffee, extra towels, etc. were minimal but sufficient. A really great property in a great location - we would definitely stay again!

Loved this Place! Will be Back!!

Driving into the Treehouse neighborhood gave me this sense of peace. Then we reach the house and we were in awe!!! It is even better than the pictures portray (if that is possible!) I travelled here from Indiana with my 17 yo daughter, her friend, my 10 yo son, my mom, my aunt and my cousin. (Left my husband at home to take care of the animals!) this property is dog friendly but I don’t know how my little elderly dog would have navigated around especially with the spiral staircase so that was a good choice side us at least. Anyways. The 7 of us loved this place. The views. Being Right on the water. The martini deck was perfect for feeding fish, feeding ducks, fishing, tying our floats on with ropes to float around in the water. The beds were so comfy! There is a pull out couch but the teens just sleep on the couches. There were sheets for the pull out and pillows though. The kitchen had just what we needed for cooking. We utilized two of the pools on the property that were lovely as well! Thank you!!!! We will be back!!!!!!
