Quaint recently updated three bedroom unit (with studio unit attached) along Ames Street in Elk Rapids. This efficiency unit includes a refigerator with freezer,ā€‹ cooktop and convection oven. Also available outside is shared outdoor space with a picnic table and charcoal grill. Longtime favorite, The Local, is located directly across the street. If dining in is more your style, Village Market is just a short walk down the sidewalk. Looking to dine out? Pearl's New Orleans Kitchen and Riverwalk Grill and Taproom are both just a stroll away. Stop by for happy hour at Ethanology or ice cream at Cone Coral, both located across the street as well. Downtown Elk Rapids is just minutes away where you can explore our beaches, harbor, library, shops, restaurants and more! The new Short's Brewery Pull Barn is a few blocks away.

A Great Location and Clean Property

We loved how close the property was to downtown Elk Rapids. Walkable to the Village Market was a bonus too! The property was clean, well-maintained, and worked for our family of 4 for a week.

Great location in Elk Rapids

My family and I really enjoyed the home and the amenities! The location is close to the grocery store and my favorite distillery! I love the closeness to Elk Rapids. We have stayed here a couple times and enjoyed the updates made this time around (especially tvs with Roku)! Would stay here again!

Great place for a big family

This property was a great place for a big family. Two grandparents two parents and four kids age 13 to one. The kitchen grade room combo was perfect for all of us, the bedroom situation made it easy to have that many people. And the location in Rapids was central to everything we wanted to do in northern Michigan. What highly recommend and would go back.

Great Location and Updated Property

Great location is Elk Rapids in terms of ease to get to everything. It is close to restaurants, a grocery store, and other establishments like Shorts and Ethanology. The place has been updated and looks great. The kitchen and fridge were a little small (was in the description of the property) but it worked for us. The closet was very large for clothes storage and worked well for us. I wish it would have had some tvs in the bedrooms as well (maybe they could be added). Overall, it was a nice stay and I would recommend.

Four beds in three bedrooms with issues

Middling property. Nice to have four beds and three bedrooms. They are all "full" size. Had a few issues though. I sent the owner some questions three months prior to our visit in order to make some outside arrangements. I only got a response a few days before along with the arrival instructions. We never had WiFi during our stay, even though it was advertised as an amenity. The owner made one attempt at a fix by having the internet company reset access, but after that didn't work, nothing else was tried. We thought there were way too many air fresheners in the unit. There were probably three air fresheners per room. Also, no blow dryer was provided, even though it is a necessary amenity for those with long hair. This VRBO worked for us because we really only slept here, we spent our time and had our meals elsewhere. Wish we could have had better curtains to keep out the light. I would only recommend this property to travelers who won't spend much time here.

The rental home was very nice and clean

The rental was perfect for my family. The home was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained and provided all of the necessary amenities not found in hotels. The host was very accomodating and responded quickly to my questions. I would definitely rent this home again.

Elk Rapids Summer Getaway

This is a great unit! It was clean and stylish, with a large parking area. The owner was VERY friendly and quick to respond to our questions and resolve any issue. The kitchen is small and does not have an oven, but does have a double stove-top unit, microwave, full-size refrigerator, dining table with 4 chairs, as well as a high top table with 2 tall stools. It is within walking distance to a large grocery store, restaurants, and the Elk Rapids downtown area. I would definitely stay there again!

Very clean well stocked home in a perfect location!!!

We stayed 4 nights with 4 women and had a perfect vacation. Everything we needed was within walking distance too!! Highly recommend this home!

Great place to stay

Listing was accurate, place was clean, great location thatā€™s close to grocery store, restaurants, and walking to Elk Rapids. Only downside is kitchen doesnā€™t have a lot of storage space, but since we mostly eat out, place was great!

Great location, close to town. You can walk to anywhere in town you want to go.

Everything was as picture shows. Clean linen on all the beds. Great idea to put closet in center of all bedrooms. If I was to nitpick it would be that all the lights and ceiling fan in kitchen and living room are connected so they are all on at same time. Also need to put instruction on using 2 remotes to TV. Black remote turns tv on and adjust sound, silver remote for everything else. But Ronnie was very helpful and always friendly. I would stay there again for sure. Wife already thinking about next summer. Way better than staying at hotel.

Perfect location and Amenities

Absolutely wonderful place and fit quite a few of us very comfortably. There were quite a few lights that we couldnā€™t find switches for and a bathroom light was out. It was very chilly and could not adjust the thermostat. Fortunately there were plenty of blankets but we were in sweats and warm socks most of the time hanging out in the house. Recommend bumping it up about 5 degrees. Overall and absolutely wonderful place to stay and the location was fantastic. Itā€™s beautifully decorated and stocked. Zero complaints minus this Florida girl being cold!

Family Getaway

My family and I stayed here to explore the area. We really enjoyed our time and the home was clean and comfortable. I loved how spacious the bathroom was, it things a lot easier with little ones to take showers. We ate locally and cooked, both worked out great. Loved having a local beach so close and also travelled around the area and nothing was more than an hour away which was definitely nice. Thank you for having us!

Convienently located

House was clean and right next to restaurants and a gas station. Short distance to downtown, walkable for adults. Not a ton of privacy, but great location if you'll be spending a lot of time downtown or at the beach. There are some fragile decor items, so heads up to relocate those if you have small kids. Also, the plug where the sprinkler system is easily comes out of the wall. Unplug your items carefully! Our only complaint was that some of us were cold in the house and the air could not be adjusted. For most, it would probably be fine. If you're easily chilled, pack some warm house clothes. Overall, a great place if you want to spend your time enjoying lake life and avoiding daily driving without breaking the bank.

Great place to stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days and it was great! The house is clean, quiet, and in a great location. There's plenty of parking on the property, too. It's walking distance to the grocery store and some restaurants. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in Elk Rapids!
