Sunny Sequim retreat: Relax with beautiful views

Large windows abound to let the sun in! Relax on the deck with views of Protection Island, Strait of Juan de Fuca, and North Cascade Mountains. Peaceful bird song, hummingbirds, flowers, and beautiful sunsets make this an ideal retreat. The beach is just a short walk or drive away!

This is a two bedroom, two bathroom home with fully-equipped kitchen. A pull-out sofa bed is also available. The master bath includes a large bathtub with views of the water and mountains.

The large deck is equipped with seating and a clay firepit for those cool evenings watching the sunset.

This is a perfect base for your Olympic peninsula adventures! Nearby highway 101 allows easy access to everything the peninsula has to offer. Hike nearby Miller Peninsula State Park. Walk, jog, or ride on the 130-mile Olympic Discovery Trail. Explore Olympic National Park’s hiking trails, hot springs, and crystal clear lakes. Rent kayaks at nearby John Wayne Marina, or hike Dungeness Spit to the historic Dungeness Lighthouse.The lavender farms in Sequim are only a short drive away.

Shopping is nearby in Sequim, Port Angeles, and Port Townsend. Be sure to take a tour of the wonderful Olympic Peninsula wineries and cideries, or visit some of the many excellent local breweries.

Located in Diamond Point, 2 hours from Seattle.

Things to note:

Check in time is 4 PM; check out time is by 11 AM

Each bedroom has a queen bed, the living room has a full size sleeper sofa.

Spectacular Setting at a Great Price!

Location and Price

We found this after having looked around a good bit. The price fit well within our budget and the location allowed us to access Olympic National Park as well as Port Townsend and Port Angeles. Can, and do, recommend.

Sweet home with great view

We loved staying at this property! The house was clean and cosy. We especially appreciated the comfort of the bed and drinking our tea/coffee in the living room recliners each morning. I liked that the decor was simple - they didn’t have a lot of Knick knacks scattered around and every wall was not covered with wall hangings! The owners also had a suitable supply of household products for a week long stay. It was also in a very quiet neighborhood. We also love the water and appreciate the view of the bay from the house! We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house as we gathered with family at my sister’s home in Sequim. Would definitely stay here again!

Spacious home with great water views! Richard was easy to communicate with. Location allowed us visits to Port Townsend, Port Angeles, Dugeness Rec area, Sequim, and Hurricane Ridge at Olympic National Park.

Lovely and quiet

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely little home. It was fun to be greeted by deer in the yard and an eagle swooping by. The views are lovely! The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. It was a little further from Sequim than we thought but we made the best of it. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Stay in Sequim

We had a very nice stay at Richard’s place in Sequim! The home felt spacious, but cozy, and everything was clean and well taken care of. It was just a stone’s throw from the downtown area and about an hour to Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park where we spend much of our time. After a long day it was the perfect place to come back to for sunset views and dinner on the deck. Would recommend to any friends or family traveling to this area!

Truth in advertising!

This was our very first Vrbo, and now we're already spoiled. Communication was fantastic. The view is GORGEOUS. As soon as you open the door, there it is. It was lovely sitting outside, with minimal bugs and a cozy fireplace. The quiet neighborhood made spending time outside feel like a luxury. We found the beds super comfy and the linens felt like they were hotel quality. Believe me when I say that you don't need to bring your extras. There's even 2 hair dryers. Tons of games! Tons of books! The deer visited us in the early morning and also in the early evening. They seemed to be regulars. :) The home was neat, clean, and very homey. Sequim is just a short drive away, as well as Port Townsend (the 2 best places in all of Washington, imo). All pros, and zero cons. Thank you for taking a chance on us, and making our first Vrbo experience so enjoyable. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful view!!

Very nice comfy house. Amazing view!! It was clean and very well stocked. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils. We were not aware how far it was to a grocery store so be sure you have all the food you need. Had to go into Sequim. It’s ok unless you need a last minute item. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect get away

The overall cleanliness, setup and check/out procedure was very simple. Location of the house wasn’t in Sequim but @7-10 miles from Sequim which honestmade it better. Views were awesome and not really to far of a drive to anywhere. I would definitely like to go back there again. The beach was within walkable distance though not as close as it appears it pictures but that was not that big a deal.

We loved our stay! A cozy and comfortable retreat with exceptional views. Our stay was relaxing and peaceful and the location is a great spot to explore the surrounding area. We enjoyed the natural beauty, scrumptious food and sunny weather. From the deck we saw beautiful sunrise and sunsets, a pair of bald eagles hanging out in the trees, a pod of orcas in the strait, and a doe feeding her twin fawns! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great Place

The view from the house is amazing, the house is very comfortable and well equipped with anything you need or forgot to bring. If we ever make it back out to Washington we would love to stay there again .

Great Motel Alternative

We were visiting family is Sequim and didn't want to impose on them so stayed nearby in this home for 4 nights. The home is bright, views are great, and it was well stocked to meet our needs. Furniture could stand to be improved but that's a minor consideration. All in all, happy we chose to relax in this home rather than deal with two cramped motel rooms.

Didn't like doing someone else's laundry

Laundry was not complete, washer and dryer were full, dishwasher also needed to be emptied when we arrived. Recliner was broken😔 The bed was really comfy Did enjoy time with my family

Great view, great house!

This house fit our needs perfectly. Beautiful view was an added bonus! The house had everything we needed, extra blankets and pillows, kitchen was well stocked. We were warned ahead of time that the railings on the deck were unsafe for children. It was a not and issue for us and our three young kids, the doors to the deck all had locks out of their reach. It was easy to keep them off the deck. It was easy to reach the host when we needed to. Great experience!

Scenic view.

Was clean. The step down kitchen can be a problem but they did light them. The beds where great. Dinning table chairs a little uncomfortable. Plenty of space in all the rooms. We had a great time.
