SHOCK HILL HIDEAWAY - 30+ day rental radiating Colorado elegance. Live like a local for a month or more at this beautiful and perfectly located home. This 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bathroom, open floor plan home is the perfect home for your time in Breckenridge. With its ski in/ski out location and modern luxury, Shock Hill Hideaway has everything you could possibly want or need in a longer stay home away from home. Either catch the gondola to town, to the ski area base on Peak 7 or 8, or enjoy the 15 minute walk to town down Ski Hill Road.



The Space:

Sleeping: Bedroom 1: king size bed with attached bath (sleeps 2); Bedroom 2: king size bed with attached bath (sleeps 2); Bedroom 3: queen size bed with attached bath (sleeps 2); Bedroom 4: double/twin bunk bed and twin/twin bunk bed with attached bath (sleeps 5). Additional Sleeping: queen size sofa sleeper in lounge area (sleeps 2)

The Neighborhood:

Located in the exclusive Shock Hill neighborhood on Peak 8 in Breckenridge, the gondola mid-point stop is less than a two minute walk. A convenience imperative to a stress free ski vacation, it is here that you can either catch the gondola to town, to the ski area base on Peak 7 or 8, or enjoy the 15 minute walk to town down Ski Hill Road. It is rare to find a vacation rental in this neighborhood. Enjoy Breckenridgeā€™s best Nordic and mountain biking trails accessed directly off of the deck or watch the snow fall and wildlife pass from the floor to ceiling windows in the great room.



Getting Around:

You do not need a car during your time at this property, although it is nice to have. You can walk to town or ride the gondola. Gondola access will also take you to the base of Peak 7 and Peak 8. Easily ride the gondola back to Shock Hill Hideaway for lunch, then be off for an afternoon ski. Please note: The Breckenridge Gondola opens for the Winter season right around November 8th every year and operates daily from 7:45am to 5:30pm during winter months. The gondola does also not run end of April to mid June during moose calving season.



Other Things to Note:

Cancellation Policy: Once the rental is confirmed and the first portion of the payment has been made, those funds are non refundable. The remaining balance will be due thirty days before your lease date. Once the balance is paid, that portion is also non-refundable. Staying with LiveBreck Property Management is simple. As a professional property manager, we strive to make your time in Breckenridge as easy and hassle-free as possible. Strictly animal-free due to allergies or other necessary circumstances. Exterior Security Cameras in place. Most properties have exterior cameras at entry points for security as well as to monitor compliance with pet/animal, party, and event restrictions.



Interaction with Guests:

Enjoy Breckenridgeā€™s best Nordic and mountain biking trails accessed directly off of the deck or watch the snow fall and wildlife pass from the floor to ceiling windows in the great room. The open floor plan of this home allows for your group to come together after a fun filled day of activity. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner in style. With granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and top of the line appointments, the chef in the group will be happy to prepare a meal here. Seating for twelve in the dining room will accommodate you and your guests for every type of gathering. Entertain with the full size patio directly off of the great room complete with a gas grill and a hot tub. Soak in the hot tub after a long day of activity while surrounded by nature and the mystique of the mountains. Each beautifully appointed bedroom has its own attached bathroom complete with granite countertops and a glass shower. The bedrooms are furnished with plenty of clothing storage, comfortable bedding, and 3 of the 4 bedrooms are furnished with a flat panel television. The master bedroom includes a gas fireplace, travertine tile, a jetted Jacuzzi tub, a separate glass shower, and a walk out balcony. Three bedrooms are located on the lower level while the master suite embodies the entire top floor. A bonus area with a couch and a fifth TV complete with an Xbox and Smart TV is also found on the lower level. The home is equipped with high speed internet, Smart TV's throughout, and a 'Sonos' sound system complete with outdoor speakers. *Please note: This is strictly a pet free property due to owner allergy concerns.

So peaceful, great location

We were fortunate to stay here for 3 weeks, such a great place! Loved being able to walk to the gondola, walk to the nature pond where we saw beavers, moose, and other wildlife, and great safe neighborhood where our kids could walk around too. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, very nice feature. House was great.

Christmas ski vacation

This property was fantastic! From the fully stocked kitchen to the full size bottles of shampoo and conditioner to the dining table that seats 12, everything we needed was provided. Easy access walk to the gondola for essentially a ski in/ski out location so we could even come back for lunch while skiing. Perfect get-away for our three families to enjoy a Christmas ski vacation together.

Incredible house and location

Overview of the house was spot on. More than enough space for our family (6 adults/6 kids) and a fully stocked kitchen. Couldn't beat the close proximity to the Gondola. We used it daily to get down to Main Street and up to Peak 8. This was my families first trip to Breckenridge, but we will be back and looking to rent this property again.

Hideaway is a great house

For our group of 10, this house rocked. Perfect location and finally someone put a big enough sectional in the living room for everyone to have a seat! Amenities are top notch and it is located in the Shock Hill neighborhood with private gondola access. Fonda is great to deal with and she went above and beyond to accommodate our needs with two infants. We have been renting properties from her for about the last three years, and I will continue to seek out her properties when I can, as her service is fantastic.

Perfect!

Our group could not have been more happy with our stay at Shock Hill Hideaway. We had high expectations given the amount of good reviews and those expectations were met and exceeded! We loved the location. It's a short walk from downtown although we enjoyed taking the gondola which is just a couple of minutes from the house. Being just a few steps from trail access was also a group favorite. The neighborhood is fantastic and we could not believe how quiet and peaceful it was. The house had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed having bathrooms in every room and the overall spacious floor plan. The master is wonderful and complimented by a large, luxury bathroom. A hot tub was a must have for our group and this one did not disappoint as it was very roomy with nice features. I'll also note that the property manager we spoke with before our trip was kind and accommodating. We have nothing but positive things to say about our time at the Shock Hill Hideaway and would highly recommend to all travelers. We hope to come back in the winter or again next summer!

Nice and Cozy

Perfect location, we love being able to walk to the Shock Hill gondola to go up or down. Cozy main floor with kitchen, dining room, living room and powder bath. Master upstairs and the rest of the bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry were downstairs. The kids liked having their own little couch/tv area to themselves in the basement. No issues while we were there.

So perfect!

We had such a great time and stay. My immediate family visits BRECK during ā€œmud seasonā€ every year. This year we brought my sisterā€™s family and my mom along. The home was so clean and perfect for our family of 10. We had very minor problems that were promptly addressed by property management. This helped to make our stay absolutely worry free. Overall we had such a wonderful stay full of priceless memories. Thank you so much!

Perfect Winter Wonderland!!

An amazing experience!! Perfectly housed our family, every detail was considered (kitchen spices, shampoo, towels for the hot tub, etc). Such a BEAUTIFUL house!! Quick walk to the gondola, we were blessed with a week of heavy snow and powdered slopes. Right beside the nordic skiing trail, very entertaining to watch. We rented vehicles-definitely worth it. This week and stay could not have been better! Thank you!

Shock Hill - Family Trip

We loved staying here. It was a very spacious house, the location near the gondola made for a 5 minute walk to head to the slopes or for a day in the town. The sleeping situation for our family of 7 was great with extra space. Lots of cooking supplies for cooking and a great kitchen for cooking big meals and BBQ grill outdside worked great!

Great house for large family

There were 7 of us in the family, and the house was perfect. Each of the bedrooms had its own bathroom, and the kitchen, family room, dining room, deck and hot tub were perfect for us to all gather together. The house was very clean, and well equipped. The property manager was very responsive when we had some minor problems.

A+ Comfort and Location

This home is in a convenient and fun location in Breckenridge, nearby the gondola stop in Shock Hill and hiking trails around Cucumber Gulch preserve. It is newer and in great condition, well furnished, and a well stocked kitchen. Our party of eight adults were comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone. Beds are comfortable and it's very nice that each bedroom has its own bathroom. We enjoyed our time here and would return.
