This one bedroom, one bath privately owned condominium is located at The Apollo, one of Marco Island's most popular vacation destinations. This updated unit has everything provided to make sure your stay is worry free!

Accommodations include a king bed in the bedroom(new mattress January 2025), and a leather sofa sleeper in the living room. Granite counters in both the kitchen and bathroom. There are two flat screen televisions, one in the living and one in the bedroom. A balcony, located off of the living room, overlooks the beach and right out to the sparkling Gulf waters.

The Apollo has a large heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts and exercise room. There is covered parking. The Sunset Grille serves up delicious lunch and dinner fare. Watch your favorite sports teams at the beachfront bar.

There are shops, restaurants and a movie theatre all within walking distance. Island activities nearby include jet ski tours, parasailing and charter fishing. Golf courses are within a 30 minute drive and, the Everglades National Park is close by.

The property was gorgeous. My only issue was the check in and check out instructions were vague. I reached out for check in and did receive a reply but my several questions I had for check out were never answered. Room was amazing. View was stunning. Food on property is awesome. Property seemed updated and was very clean.

Cute little place in the middle of all the action

We thoroughly enjoyed this cute little condo. Canā€™t go wrong with the amazing views, beach walks and relaxed ambiance. Even though this condo is very small it gives good value to be located right on the sand - and Sunset Grille right down stairs was an added bonus. Both the staff at Harborview Rentals & Apollo were super friendly and helpful.

We love the Apollo, the staff is excellent. The location is perfect! Itā€™s an older place, but itā€™s homey. Our condo as very clean had everything we needed. The sunsets are amazing on the balcony. We canā€™t wait to come back!!

Perfect location! Beachfront views amazing. Cleanliness of hotel and co do was very good. Condo needs a nice paint job and some updated furniture and appliances but furniture was clean, good shape and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and air conditioning worked great. kitchen supplies had EVERYTHING you needed and in good condition. Supply of beach items were plentiful and in good condition and was very much appreciated!!The Apollo employees were very friendly as well. Sunset grill downstairs was a huge plus. Food and drinks were awesome. .Only negative is 24 hrs before checkout I received a text that we needed to wash all towels or a laundry charge would be applied. We had no idea we were required to do that and did not have the time in our schedule and we had a very early flight so we could not accommodate that request unfortunately. We would definitely stay here again!!!!!

Fabulous location! Small condo

Sunset views & dolphin sitings are great!!! The condo is small & basic. The towels & bedding are in need of updating. I would not recommend more than 2 people stay here, but we had a great trip & Marco is magical!

rental had everything you would need from kitchen equipment, beach chairs, plenty of towels and great location.even some sunscreen and coffee to get us started. our stay was only 5 days but unit was comfortable enough to stay as long as you would want to. very satisfied

Very Pleasant Stay

No issues. Beautiful view of the Gulf Of America. Beach is beautiful. Check-in is a few steps so make sure you read details closely especially if youā€™re coming after hours. Unit was vey clean. Has a full size stove which many units in the complex do not have. Bed is very comfortable and pillows and linens were good. Pots and pans need an upgrade and need more wash cloths.

Love the location and the view.

This was our second stay at the Apollo, different condo. We bring our own sheets, pillows, blankets and towels. I suggest using scent free detergent and softener. I'm sensitive to strong smells and the downey (?)smell was overpowering, hence we bring our own. That is no problem though because we drive. We very much enjoy staying at the Apollo and would highly recommend it.

we enjoyed our stay very much. I only had very small bars of soap just two for the week and limited cleaning supplies in general. Plenty of towels and beach year really nice chairs. Biggest problem with screen door was hard to open and close and kept coming off the track. Still would recommend as the building was clean and felt secure pool was very nice

Heavy construction ruined our trip

Our stay could have been a 10, but instead it was a 1 due to the over-the-top noise and construction. The building should have been closed. It was far more than painting and sandingā€¦ that was what we were warned about Nobody could have prepared us for the noise, the debris, and the inconvenience

Nice condo for two

The rental unit is clean and has everything you need but only appropriate for two people ,the space is very small. The unit need some upgrades, it a hassle to open the refrigerator due to the reduce space, the shower doesnā€™t drain the water properly, the sleeping sofa need a replacement. Due to the increase on the rentals price that kind of inconvenience are not expected. Also a pipe broke and we had no water for some hours not to mention the noise of the painting work was annoying

Apollo Condo - terrible experience

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Terrible experience - would not return/ recommend. Building is dated, elevators do not work - tedious sign in procedure for both Apollo and Harbor Rentals. Our rental was on 4th floor - retrurned after dinner at 9:30 pm - elevator was broke - no way to access our room. Security key does not work on stairwell. Called Apollo - no one answered, called Harbor rental - no answer, called fire department - no answer, finally called police department.

Excellent view and location

As advertised but a couple of ā€œcould be betterā€ comments. Ceiling lighting controls were very confusing. Often turning on fan or light in bedroom turned on ones in Living Room. Never seemed to be the same. We stayed almost 3 weeks and think we figured out a system the last few days. There were no directions for anything thing in condo or brochures for nearby services or dining. Ice in freezer consisted of one teeny tray of miniature ice cubes. We bought 2 trays and left them in unit. Other than coffee we didnā€™t prepare cooked food, but plenty of dishes. We replaced 2 lightbulbs upon arrival and used last ones in unit. During last week wanted to sit on beach for first time and when opening beach umbrella, it was in shreds. Called management and new one arrived couple of days later but never had chance to use it. Just seems that supplies etc should be checked after each visit. All that said, the condo worked just fine for the 2 of us. Incredible sunsets!!!!! Handy to have restaurant on site. Weā€™re walkers and walked miles on beach and on Collier. Enjoy!

We arrived a little early but we were able to pick up the keys and go to the condo. It was clean and there was some coffee and filters there which was nice. We had one issue with lights in the bathroom that was addressed the same day.

Probably the best unit I've stayed in at the Apollo. Only draw back was the bedding was at best 250TC new and it was far from new. I could read my tablet through the sheets. Also the fitted sheet had pockets for an 8 to 12" matress. The bed needed 15" pockets minimum so you basically slep on top of a mattress with sheets wadded up under you. Also the bathroom towels were microfiber. You could rub them all over you body and little water was removed, so, you had to drip dry after each shower. The condo was equipped nicer than most units i have rented with a well stocked kitchen with above average pots pans and utensils.

Condo itself was somewhat tired and outdated with need of some general maintenance. Ceiling fans did not work properly and entry door lock and balcony door lock were old and hard to open/close and lock properly. Exterior maintenance and painting were taking place so it was noisy and loud at times during our stay and we had to close shades at times.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed 2/17-2/24/24. Our 6th trip to Marco- we come for a medical conference at the Marriott about every 2 years. This cozy unit is perfect for 1-2 people! Unit 408 was very quiet-- never heard footsteps above or in hall, nor voices except on balcony. Older bldg but very well kept. Small pool, toasty hot tub, small exercise room. Beach views, full moon on the ocean at night, sunsets, are SPECTACULAR from this balcony! Lots of small amenities to make your stay comfortable- patio furniture options, beach chairs, a fan, extra linens and towels. Well-stocked kitchen items. King bed quite comfortable, and loved the extra pillows! Appreciate small touches like leaving salt & pepper, coffee filters (drip unit, not Keurig), laundry soap, sunscreen, between guests. Washer/ dryer by the elevator $1.75/ each, can use credit card or coins. Worked fine. Was cool all week (AC not needed) so we used heat 1-2x.A few minor maintenance issues (lightbulb out inside, battery missing from remote, toilet running, door keys old & wonky) were handled at the end by our choice. One assigned covered parking spot for $45 comes with unit, and they let you park a second car in the non-covered if needed. Day visitors allowed- bring parking entrance ticket to office to validate. Check in/ out cumbersome compared to other VRBOs we've rented-- 2 step process, but they send lots of email instructions and we managed fine even after hours using the lockbox at the realtor. You get keys at a realtor office, then sign up & pay for parking at the condo office. You must use key to get in lobby doors, to call elevator, pool/ beach access, etc. Fri/ Sat the on-property restaurant is very busy. I was quickly accustomed to the higher level of security. They also have some carts near the lobby area to borrow for groceries, etc which was appreciated! The Wi-Fi is FAST and no glitches-- I was able to do zoom meetings without a problem. All in all, I'd definitely rent here again! Thank you!
