A unique long promenade, divides the bay into two places, Štikovica - Zaton Mali and Zaton Veliki (Small and Big Zaton). Veliki Zaton has a post office, bank, shops, bars and restaurants.

What you will not find in Zaton are large hotels and crowds, so if you are looking for a place to relax, you will certainly be delighted with Zaton.

The word 'zaton' actually means a bay or a cove so it is well protected from winds coming come from the open sea. Zaton bay frames the villas of Dubrovnik aristocrats, old stone houses and embroideries for boats.

The end of path next to the sea marks the entrance to a small pine tree forest. Walking through the forest path leads to many hidden places with amazing landscape. The play of nature gets more interesting when you continue walking deeper into the forest. The sea in this area is clean as in most of Adriatic.

Here you can enjoy various activities such as kayaking, walking, jogging, diving, climbing, surfing and windsurfing.

Great stay

The apartment is spacious and fully equipped with all you need. The property has air conditioning in all rooms including the living room, which is super convenient in the hot days of summer. We had a great stay.

What a lovely place to stay!

We booked this at very short notice. Lovely setting and , fresh apartment. Lydia was very helpful and managed our transport to and from the airport. Quiet setting but close to public transport. Stunning views from the terrace. Exceeded expectations. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Lovely modern and clean apartment with lovely terrace with sea-view

The apartment is very modern and clean with a fantastic terrace with sea-view. Lovely kitchen with everything you need and comfortable beds with shutters. AC was essential in the July heat. Lidia is very helpful and provided us with lots of advice regarding what to do in the area. I highly recommend if you intend to rent a car as we found the bus services a little unreliable and there is not not much around the apartment except for a supermarket. Dubrovnik is close by and very busy so it suited us to be in a much quieter area even if that meant having to drive all the time, even to go to the beach.

What an incredible place

We spent 7 nights in this great located accommodation and it was fantastic in every respect. Perfect for two couples with lots of space and the added benefit of private garage and a well equipped kitchen. The jewel in the crown of this apartment is definitely the outside space which overlooks the Zaton Bay , providing the perfect position to enjoy spectacular views. Our host met us on arrival to provide an overview, and basically we didn’t require any further assistance, but we knew they were available if required. It was good to have our privacy. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Nice appartment

Beautiful modern and clean appartment. Missing a few things to make it perfect! No welcome pack with general instructions on nearby places to eat or visit. A guest book would be handy to hear about others experiences.. I found it difficult at first to work the oven/grill as there was no toaster. Views from the balcony were amazing but it was sheltered from the sun, (if you like to sunbathe) for a lot of the day. We visited in Sept. Zaton bay is a beautiful location. Be ready for a nice 20min walk to nearest good restaurants and a good hike up the hill on your return, as the appartment is at the top of a fairly steep hill. We visited Dubrovnik a couple of times by Uber which is only 15 mins drive. Thank you Lidia for allowing our friends to stay for one night when they visited.

We have had an amazing holiday and found the apartment so clean and comfortable with all amenities.

After a lovely holiday, we are sad to be leaving such a beautiful place. We leave with some amazing memories of our time here though. I highly recommend staying at this very clean and comfortable apartment with all it’s amenities making it a home from home experience. If we return to this area in the future, I hope we are able to stay here again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your apartment this summer.

Wonderful family holiday

Cozy apartment with warm hosts

We decided on short notice to take a trip to Dubrovnik and contacted Lidia who was so kind to pick us up from the airport.The apartment is new, fully equiped and at 5 min walking distance to Zaton Bay.The grocerry shop is close, you can get a cab to Dubrovnik...a lot to see not enough time, hope to come next year with the kids:)Thank you Lidia for making our stay confortable. Would love to meet you again.

Holidays like staying with friends

Very beautiful and comfortable apartment with a simple elegance and comfortable interior. Within walking distance to the sea, restaurants and super market. We all felt completely at home at Mali Zaton bay and really enjoyed our stay. Dubrovnik and several beaches are within easy reach, it was a good starting point for our trips. We would like to thank Mrs. Lasic for her assignment and could recommend him without any reservations. We love to come back. Jetzt noch auf deutscher Sprache: Familie Lasic hat ein wunderschönes und stilvoll eingerichtetes Apartment. Das Meer, die Restaurants in Mali Zaton und der Supermarkt sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Wie haben uns in Mali Zaton sehr wohl gefült und haben viele Ausflüge in die Umgebung und Dubrovnik unternommen. Das Apartment ist etwas von der Straße zurückgesetzt und somit ist es sehr ruhig und man kann den unvergleichlichen Blick auf die Bucht genießen. Wir können das Apartment uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jeder Zeit noch mal in dem Apartment von Familie Lasic Urlaub machen.

TRÈS BEL APPARTEMENT SÉJOUR REMARQUABLE

Magnifique appartement idéalement situé pour visiter tout le centre historique de Dubrovnik et ses alentours. Vue fantastique de la terrasse. L'appartement est très propre ,l` équipement cuisine parfait, tout est réuni pour passer un excellent séjour !! Pour finir, le propriétaire est très sympathique, serviable sans être intrusif. Une location que je recommanderai !

SUPER URLAUB

Es war ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Urlaub. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich Man kann sich auch vom Vermieter vom Flughafen abholen lassen. Das Apartment war sehr schön, sauber und hatte einen tollen Ausblick (entspricht den Bildern im Internet). Der schönste Ausblick den ich jemals in einem Urlaub hatte. Ich habe es geliebt beim Frühstück dieses Panorama zu genießen oder beim kochen auf das offene Meer zu schauen und mir die Brise um die Nase wehen zu lassen. Der Strand war , etwa 5 min. entfernt aber sehr schön und sauber. In der nähe hatten wir auch ein sehr gutes Restaurant Die Stadt Dubrovnik ist ca. 11 km entfernt und die muss man unbedingt gesehen haben. Ales in allem war das ein toller Urlaub der 5 Sterne verdient hat. Wir sind Begeistert.

Zaton is a picturesque and charming little village that stretches around a horse shoe bay, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine and swimming in the sea. Between Mali & Veliki Zaton (Little & Big Zaton) there are little coves and swimming spots and plenty of pine trees for shade – it’s really pleasant to walk along the shore or just to sit in one of the little sea-front restaurants sipping a glass of local wine! The sea in Zaton is a particularly vivid colour and Zaton was a favorite of the old Dubrovnik aristocratic families who used to holiday here.
