Welcome to the "Lazy Bear Cabin" across from the beautiful Penobscot River! This 3 bedroom 1 bath home boasts vaulted ceilings with knotty pine on every wall and ceiling. Each bedroom is quite spacious and has closets with lights and ceiling fans. The "master" has a Roku TV. The living room has 2 leather couches, Roku TV. The camp has Spectrum high speed internet with Netflix already set up on the TVs. The kitchen is quite large and will accommodate a large gathering. The heat is HWBB and a mini split for comfortable AC in the warmer months.

Perfect place to stay for our trip. The cabin was super cute, clean and the location was perfect for us. The morning view of the lake is breathtaking. We can't wait to come back. Our only recommendation would be a mirror in the bedroom(s).

Perfect location and Beautiful house

great cabin near Baxter State Park

My big family and I had a great time staying at the Lazy Bear Cabin. Clean and comfortable, and Cheryl was very responsive and helpful on questions. Good proximity to the park and lots of fun outdoor activities. Would definitely come back again.

Absolutely amazing

Lazy bear cabin was amazing definitely makes you feel at home. If I could give it 100 star rating I absolutely would. Will definitely be staying there again.

Family Hub!

This property is very beautiful! We attended a funeral and the space was perfect for everyone to come over after for lunch. Perfect yard for everyone to sit and fellowship.

Exceeded our expectations!!

The cabin was extreemely spacious, exceptionally clean and worked perfect for our family's snowmobile trip. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked (utensild/pots/pans). My kids are already asking when we can go back. Cheryl was quick at responding to the few questions I had. I would highly recomend this beautiful cabin.

Great stay with beautiful view

Although we were in Maine for a family memorial service, we could not have asked for a better place to stay! My father grew up near Medway and the Penobscot River. So having a gorgeous view of the river from the cabin was wonderful! The place was spotless and well equipped. I will be looking to rent this place again the next time I’m planning to be up that way.

This property was fantastic! Everything was as promised. Honestly the pictures do not do it justice! This cabin is beautiful. Everything was so clean, well stocked and well thought out! My family and I had such a great trip. The property is situated in a great location to be able to visit a lot of destinations.

Peaceful and Cozy Cabin

Our family booked lazy bear cabin while working in the area. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room. The first thing that i noticed when walking in was how clean it was. I am not a huge rug fan but the rugs throughout the house were so clean and comfy on my feet that I actually loved them. The walls and high ceilings are so nice and the outdoor decor is perfect for a cabin. My children loved the games which we played often. I was very pleased with the selection of books which were many. My favorite part of the whole place was how peaceful it felt. Cheryl always responded quickly and we were able to book for an extra night so we could pick up an extra job. I would absolutely look to see if this cabin was available again if we were ever in the area again. Its a lovely place to stay!

Awesome house on the river

Our stay was starting with location and ending Cheryl be an excellent host. Location is perfect , about 40-50 minutes drive to Baxter park and 30 mins to water rafting places. Grocery stores 7-15 minutes away. House itself big and cozy and has everything you need, from Netflix and chill to cook and grill. There is also river across the street, we didnt have chance to go there but view from the house is amazing. And last but not least, Cheryl is amazing host. Helped with all our questions right away. Definitely coming back!

Beautiful home near Baxter State Park

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated home with a fun bear theme throughout. It was very clean and well taken care of inside. It is across from the Penobscot River and comes with two kayaks. It was only about 30 minutes to Baxter State Park where we went hiking and rafting.

Wonderful Stay!

Our family of 5 stayed here for a quick visit to Baxter State Park. The property was easy to find and a short distance to the park. It had plenty of room to spread out and also a nice living area and kitchen to come together for family time. Very clean and an overall wonderful plane to stay!

Three Day Weekend Excursion

Great place to stay... The "Lazy Bear Cabin" exceeded our groups expectations...! Extremely comfortable and relaxing... Went up for the Maine reciprocal weekend to enjoy some snowmobiling in the Medway/Millinocket area with my wife and two other couples and had a great stay... Beds were amazingly comfortable, showers was extremely hot, and the neighborhood was very quiet... The ITS trail system is very easy to get to from the house which was huge for us.... The owner is very easy to get in touch with and very informative and helpful... We would absolutely stay again...
