This cottage has everything you need to stay comfortably while exploring what Truro has to offer. Close to the beach and walking distance from Truro Vineyard. Enjoy a private patio overlooking the large yard. Inside the home has a new kitchen with a stove and small fridge plus a nicely stocked kitchen. There is a breakfast bar for indoor eating. There is a comfy queen bed and small couch. Pet friendly, with lots of parking, a t.v. a/c and a grill!

Cute & cozy definitely describes this property. The location was perfect for us and our fur baby. Nice wooded area in front, with "cigar/bean" trees that I haven't seen around since I was a kid. Thank you for a great stay Kayla!

Cute cottage with everything you need. Plenty of privacy, and the hosts are very responsive. A short walk to the vineyard and can pick up ptown shuttle right down the road. The beach is a 15 min or so walk if you don't want to drive. Looking forward to coming back!

Lovely location in Truro. Perfect for (1) person and a small pet.

I enjoyed my stay at Hummingbird Cottage. It is a stone's throw away from the Vineyards, a short drive to beautiful beaches, and has an amazing quiet backyard.

ORV getaway

My wife and I loved the cottage. It was absolutely perfect for us and our senior Labradors. We spend the majority of the time on the ORV corridor and visiting close friends in Provincetown.

Nice, cozy apartment near everything

Great location close to Truro Vineyards, Truro and Wellfleet and Provincetown. Cozy and comfortable. Hosts were great at communication. Thanks so much for letting me bring my dog along!

Another Great Stay!

My husband have stayed at this cozy cottage two years in a row now. We absolutely love it. The location is close to everything we need, and also very quiet. The cottage is the perfect size for two people and one dog, and the outdoor shower is probably our favorite feature.

This was a cozy little cottage that my husband and I spent almost a week with our dog. The bed was comfortable and it had a small fridge and microwave, along with basic kitchen supplies. We appreciated having beach chairs to bring with us to enjoy the beach and loved the location just down the way from Truro Vineyards. A larger eating table outside would have been clutch. We used the grill once and the outdoor shower, which was larger than the bathroom shower. Overall it worked for us and the location was great. The owner was great with communication as well, which helped when we had a couple questions!

Everything I wanted and more!

I loved everything about my stay here. It was perfect - wonderfully quiet but close to tons of stuff, enough privacy that my barky dog barely bothered anyone, beautiful property… the owner was very communicative and a pleasure to deal with. I hope I get to come back someday soon :)

Cozy cottage for trip with dogs

Had a nice stay with my husband and two dogs. The shower is quite small, but there is a nice outdoor shower that is larger, so it wasn't much of a downside. Couch was not very comfortable for humans, but made a great place for the dogs to curl up. Overall a reasonably priced option in a beautiful location. Would definitely book again!

Great Getaway

We enjoy this cozy cottage and we have stayed twice now in early August. We don't have dogs but we love the location and how quiet it is. Kayla is great about getting back to you quickly if you have a question. We love the outdoor shower as well. Recommended!

The property was great. I visited during off-season. The day I arrived they had an unexpected pipe burst. They quickly moved me to another house located on the same property at no extra cost to me. Now that's GREAT service.

Tranquil cottage

I know the area well and the cottage is in a perfect location with a view of an expansive lawn facing east. Walk to highland rd for specialty shops and restaurant or bay side cold storage beach. Very comfy cottage. I felt very much “at home”. The host responded immediately to my call or text. Impressive. Thanks!

Cozy Cottage Next To Winery

Pet friendly, small but cozy and bright with full length sliding doors at bedside to let in light and fresh air. AC also included. TV, small kitchen with coffeemaker, microwave, stove/oven, granite countertops. Fridge/freezer very small. Outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Fire pit, gas grill and secure keyless entry. Quiet compound with pleasant grounds and within walking distance to Truro Vineyards. Highly recommended.

Nice location

This is a very nice location and the price for on season was reasonable. The property is very nice you have a patio with a grill and fire pit and some wooded areas that border the grassy yard area. It offers some privacy although neighbors are close by. There’s a very nice outdoor shower as well. The inside is small and adequate however the floor which is cement was not to our liking and the pans if you were going to cook were unacceptable. I would bring my own pans if you want to cook. It has a small bathroom which is also acceptable. If you’re not planning on spending much time indoors it’s certainly for the price a great spot. It’s close to a lot of beaches, bike trails and Provincetown. The owner is very available as she picks up the phone when you call or she calls back very quickly. There’s a lot to like about this rental a few drawbacks that are far outweighed by the positives.

Cozy cottage, great location

The cottage is quite small but great for a single person. The patio provides privacy from the 2 other houses nearby. It would be great to have a table to eat at on the patio, since the cottage has just a small kitchen countertop space to eat at. I think the space would be tight for a couple, but being able to eat outside would be an upgrade. The cottage is in great condition; however, the loveseat has seen better days and isn't at all comfortable to sit on. The outdoor shower is terrific & the firepit was a welcome surpise! The location in N. Truro borders the property for Truo Vineyards, which is another big bonus! I did not receive instructions in advance for accessing the cottage, which was disconcerting. Some type of advance communication would be nice. Overall, I was very pleased with the stay and would recommend!

A room without the basics

When we entered the "cotttage" we noticed that there were no closets, no drawers, no lights by the bed. The front door was 1/2 glass and see through with no curtains for privacy. The sliding glass door did not work and we worried about our property. All and all, it felt like the owners were just trying to make a quick buck and not terribly interested in their patron's comfort.

Hi Lois, Thank you for your feedback. We are saddened to hear that you felt concerned during your stay. We strive to offer our guests the most comfortable stay possible. We have carefully renovated the cottage with a new kitchen, new appliances, new furniture, new central air conditioning and all new linens. We did all this to make sure that our guests have an enjoyable stay. We appreciate your comments and in the time since your stay we have added lighting next to the bed in addition to the existing overhead lighting, a garment rack with shelving for clothing storage, and added a shade to the door. We wish you would have brought the sliding door to our attention during your stay because we would have been happy to adjust it for you. We truly love the property and the Town of Truro and we want to share that love with our guests as well!

Just the BEST small cottage in North Truro!

As a writer looking to spend a week editing my latest novel, I knew finding the perfect space would be important. This cozy cottage had it all—plenty of light, safe location, all the necessities (along with some very special extras), and a very comfortable bed! The cottage was so perfect that I spent much of my time trying to imagine out how to relocate it to my own property! The surrounding yard is an oasis of mature trees, rambling grass and a little patio—complete with comfy outdoor chairs and a log-loaded fire pit. Definitely an ideal couple's get-away. Though I didn't need a thing, Kayla was just a message away. I can't wait to book another "Writer's Retreat!" It's definitely an ideal couple's get-away. Maybe next time I'll bring my husband! Thank you, Kayla!

Truro in August

This is a well-appointed, nicely renovated shed/cottage on a property with three other rentals. No knocks on the owners as shed-size "cottages" abound in Truro, but be aware that it is about the size of a small hotel room, which was "snug" for two people and their dog (who love each other a lot) for several days. The bed is very comfortable, the mini split air conditioning is wonderful and the outdoor shower is divine. While the kitchen features a granite countertop, it still is quite "tight" and the refrigerator is TEENY, so space to store food for meals is very limited (plan to eat out, particularly for dinner). Finally: Location, location, location: Truro has bountiful beaches, places to explore, proximity to PTown, yet village quiet and lovely. We enjoyed our stay.
