The Garfield's Grand View property offers the finest and highest levels of comfort throughout the home, with magnificent White Mountain views from almost every window. The chef's kitchen, complete with a high-end gas top range, is nicely integrated with the overall 'great room' feel, created by the design of the living, dining, kitchen space, with nothing feeling crammed onto the other. We understand that your vacations are precious and comfort is key. Gather in the living room with your group and challenge everyone at one of the board games available after a fun-filled day exploring the town.

There are many things to do! You can pack your things and drive 19 miles to Franconia Notch State Park. The famous castle is 27-miles away (about a 30-minute drive). You'll be about six miles from the nearest town where you can enjoy some delicious meals. If you feel like cooking yourselves, Bethlehem Village Store is under three miles away, there you can stock up on groceries. The Sugarloaf Trail offers a magnificent three and a half miles trail, whereas The Maplewood Golf Course offers an 18-hole Donald Ross designed golf course and plenty of views.

Great place for a family vacation

The location is amazing and so is the house. It is close to Santa’s village, Clark’s trading post, Franconia notch and so much more. We had a great time especially the kids and they are already asking to go back.

The layout of rooms and the property itself was a great location for hiking in the White Mts, and visits to Franconia and Littleton.

Gorgeous Home

Great Property for Family Ski Vacation

Great view

This house accommodated our group of 6 adults and 4 children nicely. The kids shared the bunk room and the adults had rooms to themselves. The view out of the kitchen/living room was beautiful. Plenty of space in the family/living room to hang out and make memories. The upstairs toilet was a little finnicky, but other than that we had a blast.

Would absolutely rent again

Comfortable and spacious home. Plenty of room for 9 of us. Peaceful and quiet location with a beautiful view. Staying during a heatwave had us really wishing for some air conditioning, but buying a few fans from Walmart helped alot.

Presidential View!

We came to the area to bike, hike and leaf peep. This home was a perfectly located retreat for doing all of the above! The view from the living room, back facing bedrooms, and back deck of the fall foliage and the Presidential Mountains was really spectacular. The home is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and furnished. It was really great to escape the crowds and return to this quiet, restful home after our explorations.

Mountain getaway

We visited storyland and Santa village and explored the white mountain for last week of summer ! We had a blast. House was clean, view was amazing , short distance to cafe and some restaurants. Wifi and cell service was spotty but we didn’t really need it. Beds were little creaky. Great spot

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay! The home is rustic, yet comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked.We enjoyed the privacy and location. The wifi did not work well, and then not at all, but we used our own hot spots. The property manager was efficient. Washer/dryer were excellent. We enjoyed the beautiful porches and views, but needed to buy our own outdoor chairs as there weren't any. The house was large enough to allow us to spend time with our grandchildren. We made beautiful memories!!

Great house

The house was just as described. It was clean and had everything you needed. Check-in and check-out couldn’t have been simpler! The views are absolutely amazing! From watching the sunrise and sunset, it never got old. We went Santa’s Village and Clark’s Trading Post, which were all close by (under 30 minutes). After long days walking around it was nice to come home, cook a meal and sit on the deck enjoying the views! Would definitely recommend and rent this home again!

Great Thanksgiving

This house was great. Couple of negative things, toilet upstairs doesn't flush properly and the trash can in the garage were already half full when we got there. Could of been a little cleaner (don't look under the couches) Other than all that it was perfect! Got 5inches of snow and all the kids had a great time sledding outside. The Oven was perfect for all the Thanksgiving dishes! Will definitely be back again!

Beautiful spacious home with beautiful views!

The view from the back of the house is amazing ! ! ! ! and the open floor plan on the first floor is comfortable and great for families. The bedrooms are large and spacious and there is bonus space in the basement! The house has some idiosyncrasies which make things interesting and fun. None of them interfered with our vacation, however! The home is located close to Bethlehem, Littleton, great restaurants and breweries as well as Franconia Notch State Park. Many other White Mountain destinations are within driving distance too. We had a great week and are already looking forward to returning!

Private location. Spacious.

The house was great for our family vacation. There were 5 adults and 2 children in our group. We loved the spaciousness of the living room/kitchen. The deck got a lot of use. The view of the mountains was great. The location is very private and quiet. One of the challenges was trying to figure out which switch turned on the lights and the ceiling fans. Also because I am older, I found the stairs a bit of a challenge. The house was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. We had one issue that was corrected quickly.

Great Locations, some issues with property.

This overall is a great house, in a great location. Excellent views of the mountains and close to skiing. However we had a toilet issued causing water to leak from the upstairs bathroom into the kitchen. We called the management company Vacasa and was told not to use the bathroom until they fixed it, which never happened. They never even contacted me after the fact. The master bathroom is gorgeous however every other bathroom had either dim lighting or a broken light fixture.
