Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry that the air conditioning failed during your stay. Unfortunately, the issue turned out to be more extensive than initially diagnosed. We had an HVAC technician respond promptly, but despite the initial expectation that the system would be back up and running quickly, the repair required more time than anyone anticipated. We understand how frustrating and uncomfortable that was, especially during the summer. We also want to address your comments regarding communication. We take great pride in being responsive to our guests, so it’s disappointing to hear that we didn’t meet your expectations. Throughout the situation, I reached out frequently with updates as information became available. I had also let you know that I was working with VRBO to provide a refund for the inconvenience. Because refunds must be processed within VRBO’s guidelines and procedures, I was waiting for that process to be completed. Your review was posted before I had the opportunity to finalize the refund. While this was an unexpected mechanical failure that was outside of our control, we recognize the impact it had on your vacation and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
