It is close to ‘The village ‘ outdoor mall encompassing high end restaurants & boutique shopping - also only 25 min drive from Malibu beach, Santa Monica , Beverly Hills & Hollywood & universal studios.
Large master bed has king bed & sliding glass door overlooking garden & pool.
Second bedroom has queen bed &’adjacent guest bath. 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds.

Fabulous home, exactly as listed and way bigger than expected, very spacious. The pool is huge and the gardens are beautiful. The home is in a lovely neighborhood with shopping nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful vacation home

Everything was great. The house is equipped with plenty of towels, dishes, beach towels…everything you need. The yard and pool are perfect for relaxing, and having a good time. We had a great family vacation

Wonderful stay in LA

We had a wonderful stay at Shauna’s home in Woodland Hills. It was a lovely home with fantastic pool. The garden was very pretty and offered shady spots from the sunshine. The accommodation was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Thank you Shauna and family.

Perfect Family vacation rental

Fully equipped spacious & beautiful property. Electrical problem resolved by host’s rapid response. Our 7 yr old spent hrs in the inviting pool. We’d happily return for another stay.

I’m so glad you & your family had such a good reunion here in California ,at my house. As you know I was mortified that the AC went out while you were here during the massive CA heatwave- & relieved to be able get someone in to fix it right away. ( turns out it was a transformer / Grid issue - as the problem recurred after the quick fix/ you left) But all ok now that it’s finally cooled down here. PS-I was thrilled to receive your thank you card in the mail today - & yes, I’d love to host you again in the future. If that time comes & you don’t see it as open onVRBO sight, just Msg me & maybe I can open it up on the site for you. Shauna.

Relaxation at it's best

The house was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the pool everyday! The home was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for our party of 5 adults. The house was also located close to our extended family who live in WH and Tarzana. Hope to be back soon !

Loved this house!!!

My family absolutely enjoyed our stay!!! Shauna kept in communication with me along the way. The house was perfect in every way. Enough space, clean, beds were comfy, neighborhood was safe, neighbors were super friendly… the list could go on. Plus that POOL was amazing. I would definitely come back with my family or a girls trip!!

Woodland Hills Getaway

Good neighborhood. No issues. Check right in and out. All amenities listed were available. Beautiful backyard! Communication with owner was great!

There is a tenant in the garage

Everything was pretty accurate except it wasn’t disclosed that there was a tenant staying in the detached garage which was a little unnerving. I’m not sure why it wasn’t included in the property listing to begin with. Our main reason for picking this property was because of the pool. There is a garage window directly facing the pool which felt like a bit of a privacy invasion. We never saw the tenant but saw lights going on and heard a dog and noise and had to reach out to figure out what was going on. There is also only shower in the guest bath and the primary bathroom is really just the tub. Luckily we were mostly just using the pool so we weren’t rushing to get showers and get out the door. The house was clean but left a bit to be desired. It just didn’t feel professionally cleaned in between renters. Overall though, we still had a nice time, used the pool a lot, the back yard is beautiful, and there really was everything you needed provided or close by. The house is located in a pretty nice area and the communication was good.

Thank you for your review Whitney- I’m glad overall you had an enjoyable stay. The temporary tenant in the converted garage/adu was short lived & didn’t know it would overlap with your stay. So my apologies for that. Of course in future I will mention that if May happen again. As for professional cleaning between tenants - I’m sorry you felt it wasn’t up to scratch - but I will have words with my cleaners re that. Re master bath shower- as shown in pics , the shower is part of oversized tub. We don’t have shower curtain around it - but maybe I will add that for future renters.

Good place - best experienced in warm weather

The backyard is terrific - unfortunately we stayed over Christmas and the weather prevented us from using it (the pool is not heated and the fire pit would not light). Owner is an excellent communicator A++. House was nicely decorated for the holiday which was a bonus! Well stocked kitchen, close to everything you need, safe neighborhood. Dinning room table is not sturdy, legs are loose (not usable). One of the twin beds is a medical treatment bed - not comfortable for sleeping. One night we used the heat and a smell spread through the home (burning plastic or hair burning in a blowdryer smell). Owner was very prompt to respond and she scheduled a repair. The smell burned off after a while so we asked to cancel the HVAC service. Overall our family had a good time, home is close to Universal and Hollywood, the beach and downtown. I was anticipating better overall quality (there is deferred maintenance throughout the home) for what we paid per night, but had the weather been nice and we were able to use the backyard and pool, the cost per night would have been worth it. Thank you for sharing your home with our family, we are appreciative :)

Thank you for your constructive review Lori. Sorry for the issues you incurred -& that the weather was horrible!:/ - but happy to hear you enjoyed your stay overall. Re dining table instability- now fixed with quick tightening of leg screws- hadn’t been used in quite a while - (should have checked) 2nd twin bed is actually a trundle bed - but agree perhaps not comfortable for more than a child- so ordering new twin bed for future renters. Fire pit is new since last renters- so apologies for not having clear instructions re lighting. ( wish you’d messaged me on that at time- could prob have resolved. ) Re heating issue-Had HVAC come after our return- confirmed all ok-& smell was just due to new use this winter. Birthday Getaway

This property was the perfect place for our group. The place was super tidy and easy to get to. Communication with the host was easy as she was quick to respond whenever I reached out. The weather was gorgeous so we made use of the pool every morning before we started our day. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town!

Lovely holiday house

House was lovely place for my family to celebrate Christmas. Secluded back yard with pool, easy check-in system. Great location. Owner was attentive though out of the country. Could have used air freshener and some carpet repair from dog. As well as cleaning dog poo in the backyard. Found food in some of the pans. Called property manager about appliances that did not work properly (fridge, dishwasher) but no return call. Owner may want to depersonalize more so it’s more clear what guests may use. Would also have benefited from having more guidance on check out (what to do with linens, etc) and making broom/vacuum available.
