Trent asked for an early check in which a gave. He showed up at 12 am. I could see on the camera that he walked right to the door and did not come in. He lied and said he checked 2 doors that were locked . Not true. He asked for a refund . I said I would give him a full refund. He became so angry about getting caught in his own lies. I have cameras. I can see where guests go. He literally walked up to the door looked in and turned around and left. He then proceeded to threaten me with a 1 star review. Which he gave. It’s sad that people are so mean and vindictive when they know they are in the wrong. The door was open and he had no problem finding it. Shame on you Trent. You are not a nice person. Karma will get you. It’s people like this that make me not want to be a host.

Addison, I googled you because you had people coming to the house. I found it odd. Turns out you we’re using the room to do addiction counseling!! You were dishonest about the nature of your stay. I felt uncomfortable having recovering addicts coming in and out of the property. I make it very clear that This is a room attached to the main house! Feel free to reread the add. I also make it clear that I have 2 dogs and a cat! They don’t come into the room. As for carrying your bags up to the room for you???? Really???? You were difficult from the moment you arrived. I would not recommend you to other hosts. As for the Shower door. I have a well and hard water. The shower was cleaned. Next time read the description before you stay.

The ad clearly states that the pool is closed until May. Your stay was in April. The outside pool area was also closed for the season. So of course the area was not ready for guests. How you could even say the pool was dirty is beyond me due to the fact it was covered and remains covered all winter. I’ve never had a complaint about the bed. If you look at the pictures of the bed you can clearly see the setup. I also walked you out to the hot tub and showed you how to use it. You clearly did not pay attention as I had reset it after you checked out. You left the room in complete disarray. Garbage and water all over the bathroom floor. I don’t wouldn’t recommend you to other hosts.

Micheal, I reached out to you several days before your arrival and offered you a complete refund for your stay. I explained that it would not be accessible to you exclusively. Due to the high temperatures of 106 I would be having private pool parties. I do rent my pool on Swimply for 75.00 per hour and also 50.00 to use the outdoor kitchen. Considering that you stayed at my house for 4 nights for less then 400.00 you got a bargain. During your 4 night stay the pool was not available to you for less then 6 hours. I actually should have canceled your stay but felt bad due to you having booked so far in advanced. I also noticed you only used the pool once for less then 15 minutes. I am not scamming anyone. I run a business. Arbnb/ Vrbo/Swimply . My calendar is full. Unfortunately due to the high heat I had family and friends over outside to enjoy the pool. Again I explained this to you. You also had the Hot Tub all to yourself as well as the pool for 80% of your stay. Now let’s discuss how you left the room. You plugged the toilet and left soaking wet towels on the floor. Excessive amounts of garbage . My dining table was left sticky and gross. Not to mention a sticky stain on my new carpeting. Next time stay at a hotel trash their room and enjoy their pool with complete strangers. I don’t recommend you as a guest.

My ad is very clear! It’s a master suite with a private entrance and deck. It is attached to the main house. I could Tell Dave was not happy when he arrived. I believe he felt there would be no one else at the property. I make it very clear that I am on site. Yes the pool was covered during his stay as it was pouring down rain ! I walked both Dave and his guests to the HOT TUB ! Why he would say it was not accessible is beyond me. I think most people who rent on VRBO and Arbnb understand your staying in someone’s home. My description is clear. I don’t think Dave bothered to read it! Dave was also frustrated with using the platform. I received many messages from him before he even arrived. Questions that are clearly spelled out in the listing. Sorry Dave that you didn’t actually read the listing and became disappointed expecting something else!
