The Lake House Retreat has a great, rustic aesthetic complementing the million dollar view of Lake Norfork! Enjoy your morning coffee on the back deck, relax with friends and family around the firepit. Whether you're looking for a quiet weekend getaway or fun adventures, this is the place to be!

There's plenty of space to accommodate your group, big or small, and lots to do! Curl up with a book, play a game, grill out on the back deck and enjoy the sunset. It's a great space with something for everyone to enjoy!

Lake House Retreat is located in an established, quiet neighborhood. Huge, mature trees on the property, a babbling brook on the side of the property, and a short drive to town for whatever you need. Cranfield Marina is a five-minute drive from the house, and there's plenty of room to park your boat trailers at the house. Walmart Supercenter, and an abundance of restaurants and shopping options, are a short 10-minute drive away. Other marinas, including Tracy Ferry, Panther Bay, Buzzard Roost, and Lake Norfork, are within 20 minutes of the house. The house is in a prime location for whatever brings you to Mountain Home!

Guests will have access to everything on the property.

Co-hosts Molly, Jake, and Mark live in Jonesboro, AR, but are available day or night if you have any questions.

Great Stay!!

This was a great quick weekend getaway with perfect views and close to town. We struggled with parking trucks and boats but the place was well worth it!! Very spacious in a great neighborhood!

Beautiful view

We stayed with our family. There was lots of room for a group of people. The kitchen was well equipped which was wonderful. Lots of marinas near by for boat rentals. Dinning space was a good size and also a good place to gather for games

Great girlfriends get away!!

The Mountain Home was a great spot for girlfriend weekend get away! Enough beds without needing air mattress! Beautiful lake view and deck for morning coffee! The driveway getting to cabin needs a little work but we all had SUV’s and trucks! Well equipped kitchen and the best hostess ever!! Molly was super to work with and extremely fast responding to any questions or concerns. Will definitely stay again!

Thanks, Patty! We’re in the planning stages of having the driveway paved. Yay!!! An expense like that required some serious saving and was only made possible because of guests like you. We expect the work to begin in a few weeks! We’re so excited!

Amazing view of the lake however…

While I appreciate the contact from the host both during our stay and beforehand the house was dirty upon arrival and there was a very unpleasant odor. The floors, bathrooms and general wiping of surfaces needed attention. The bedding appeared to be freshly laundered. The host contacted me within the first 24 hours, I did not mention it thinking that at that point what could be done…in addition there are some rotting boards on the deck which could cause injury if someone were to step on that area. Having said we still enjoyed our stay spending lots of time on the deck with the lovely view of the lake. In addition the house is well stocked with plenty of linens and kitchen items.

I’m so disheartened to hear this. I received no communication from this guest despite multiple attempts to reach out and check on them. A lot could have been done on our end to try to resolve this, and I wish we had an opportunity to before it resulted in a poor review. We rely on our guests to let us know when things aren’t as expected.

Calm venue on Lake Norfork

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We have twins (ages 2 and a half) and an uncle accompanied us. The twins had space to run around inside when it got hot and there is a large fan on the deck to allow more outdoor time. The loop driveway was also very convenient. The charming house was very clean and cool and we were surprised by all of the spices available to us there. Plenty of regular towels along with beach towels. We were also delighted to find a pack-n-play in one of the closets. There is one bedroom that doesn't cool as easily but the numerous fans provided made this trivial. We were not hot when temperatures made it to triple digits outside. There is a public ramp for boats, dock for fishing, and swimming spot that is about a 6-8 minute drive from this house. Mountain Home is about a 10 minute drive which is amazing considering it is in the mountains (this matters when you have toddlers in the car). The longest car ride we took (about 35 minutes) was to the public splash park in Yellville. We would love to stay here again. It was perfect for us.

Awesome

The weather wasn’t the best but we had this cozy home to stay In and enjoy!! The view was amazing and the house had EVERYTHING you could ever need. I used to vacation in this neighborhood as a child and I was super lucky to have this orginal knotty pine paneled walls with the view of the lake rekindle some of the best times of my life. We will definitely be back!! Also town and any stores you need are very close in proximity

better than the pictures

very spacious rental. big kitchen with plenty of counter space. clean, and was everything we hoped for. we were in the area to look for a lake home of our own, and chose this place so we could bring our golden. He was very happy here, and so were we. Thank you, Molly!

Excellent location to lake and rivers! Very close to shopping and dining. Everything you need within minutes yet very peaceful and quiet. Great communication with owners. Second time here and will be back again

Norfork Lake, Mountain Home

Great location close to Norfork Lake and Mountain Home, Arkansas. This town has everything you need for the lake and appetite. We went in the middle of August with perfect weather and temperatures. If you want quiet stay in the Ozarks away from Branson crazy and close to Missouri, try Norfork. Our hosts were always available when we needed help and their home was well equipped and comfortable for the two of us to as well as 12. Their home was great!

Great stay!

This place felt just like home. We felt comfortable there and truly enjoyed our stay. It's a good location, not too far from town and a marina. We arrived to a gift basket and a nice, clean house. The back window is huge and has a nice view of the lake. The hosts really thought about how to us comfortable in the heat. We stayed cool on the back deck, in the summer heat with a nice outdoor fan. The home is cozy. There was fans in each room to help with white noise at night and to keep it cool. The middle room is definitely the coolest. The sink in the master room drains slowly, but is tolerable. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils, and swinging you could need. I would definitely recommend this house and will be back!

My family’s first Mountain Home experience

This home promised lake views, and really delivered! We came to visit some relatives and our stay in this fully equipped, very comfortable cabin made a huge difference. We gained a new perspective of Mountain Home and the Lake Norfolk area.

Loved the Lake view

Whenever you book anything online, there is always a level of uncertainty. Rest assured, the Lake House is definitely a well kept secret of the area. Nestled in among the trees, you feel as if you are the only resident of the area, and waking up to a beautiful view of the lake is priceless. Molly was extremely responsive and I never had to wait more than a few minutes for a response from her. They have thought of pretty much everything you could possibly want and more! I can't express enough the wonderful and relaxing atmosphere surrounding the home. Plenty of space for large families or several friends to spend quality time! Would definitely recommend and will try to rent again if I am fortunate enough for my family to join me again. Thank you Molly, I truly appreciate absolutely everything, we loved your house so very much!

This was perfect for us and our family. Great view off the deck. The location was perfect because we like to keep our boat at Panther Bay Marina. Molly was very easy to communicate with and answered our questions promptly!

Awesome little get a way with my husband

The cabin was very cozy and in a great location. Waking up to a view of the lake every morning was so relaxing and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!
