Two-Story, sleeps 4, 2 Bedroom, 2 1/2 Bathrooms, Fully Furnish

In Port Huron, Michigan near the St. Clair River, I-94, I-69 and a half mile from the Blue water Bridge To Canada. Great location on Black River on a dead-end road into the parking lot. Enter from the parking lot into the upper level of these two-story condos with central air. Relax and get away. Very nice 2 bedrooms with all the comforts of home. Boat dock is available during your stay, if you bring your boat or come in by boat.

Beautifully updated home, tastefully decorated throughout. First level as a beautiful open Livingroom with cathedral ceilings with ceiling fans that overlooks the river. You can watch TV on the 55" smart TV or you can relax on the deck and enjoy the river, watching the boats, birds and other wild life that also is attached to the river. Also, on the first level is a nice size kitchen and half bath.

The second level has the laundry that is well stocked with everything you need. From soap to the ironing board you will need. The master bedroom with full bathroom and two comfy XL twin beds, that can be made into one king size bed, and a 43" smart TV. You can also enjoy sitting out on the patio and enjoy the river. The other bedroom has a comfy queen size bed with nice big picture window that looks out to the river, also a 43" smart TV and another full bath just down the hall. Both bedrooms have alarm clock, dresser, lamps and nice size closets.


If you need the king bed, just let me know before you come and I will have everything ready for you.

The host forgot to leave the key in the location where he indicated it would be, so we could not get in on the first night of booking. We had to get hotel rooms at the last minute. He did apologize and refunded one day of the stay. I appreciated that he took responsibility. The accommodations were comfortable and suited us quite well. We would certainly consider staying there again.

We have stayed at this property no less than 6 times to date. I think that says it all. It’s perfect for our needs. Host is very responsive, never disappoints. Very comfortable furniture and beds. We haven’t needed to use kitchen much but it seems well equipped.

We enjoyed our stay in the rental. It appeared the host took the time to include all the essentials to make sure the unit was comfortable. It was clean and attractive. The only complaint we had was that the weather did not permit us to enjoy the outdoors on the river. However, we did get to see all the ducks and geese cruising the river, and the early snow.

Kitchen was well supplied including k-cups. Refrigerator was clean and had some condiments. nice views of the old marina. see ducks and geese going past, and a few boats going out. Never really got check-in instructions, had to contact VRBO (not easy) to find out where the key was.

We found the property to be welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed sitting on the upper deck to watch the river traffic and wildlife. Mike was responsive and helpful and the internet service was excellent.

This place and location far exceeded our expectations. The host and neighbors are amazing. The view from the porch of the Black River and constant boats passing by was our favorite part of the stay. Highly recommend this place and will book again.

Great Stay Once More

This was my third time staying here and once again my friend and I were very pleased. There is very little you need to bring for a stay here. There are your normal items plus coolers, beach towels, outdoor chairs, and more. And if it’s not there, I’m sure Mike will get it for you - he lives next door. Although the place sits across from the busy highway and billboards, it’s still very peaceful. And it’s very relaxing to sit on one of two patios and watch the boats go by. My friend and I like that the place is affordable, we each have a bedroom, and our own bathrooms. Keep it affordable and we will be back! Thanks, Mike

Incredible value

Stayed at the property at 1716 McBrady in Port Huron.Property was even nicer and bigger than the pictures in listing.Had a balcony overlooking the water and grill on the back deck. I was honestly surprised that it was so affordable. Would definitely stay here again!

This place has it all

When you walk in the door, you immediately notice how clean and comfortable the place is. Kitchen is well organized and stocked with everything you need. Beds and pillows are super comfortable and the linens are crisp and clean. Pool table is a nice idea, but I’ll be honest, we didn’t use it. Toilets all work well (I know, sounds silly, but if you have ever stayed in a property where the toilets didn’t work so well, you’ll appreciate the heads up). Our 5th visit and it won’t be our last.

Just right!

My hubby and I are so glad we stayed at this house. It was clean, with all the necessary items available. Mike, the owner was helpful, and even the neighbor was friendly and kind. The town and beaches were clean. We look forward to staying here again!

Anniversary trip

The place is very nice. Plenty of room and the view was half way decent. Owner responded well when needed. We probably won't stay there again. But only for personal reasons. Still worth the money.

Comfortable 4 night stay

We stayed 4 nights in January. Communication, cleanliness, comfort, and amenities all excellent. Note that there are 3 short flights of steps to the lower level bedrooms. My husband walks with a cane, but these would not be a deterrent to our staying again. We had quite a bit of downtime, so were trying to watch tv. The channel lineup was odd to me. No ESPN. We had to go elsewhere to watch major bowl games. This is not a deal breaker for us but just be aware if you are planning to spend time watching tv. If you have subscriptions to various streaming channels, you would be able to sign in for those. Overall, we had a very nice, comfortable stay (beds and linens were great) and watching the snowmobiles streaking along the river was fun.

All decked out for the holiday

This was our third stay. Always look forward to the hospitality. Our hosts spared no effort in decorating the unit for a merry Christmas . Always, clean and inviting.
