Lovely original Sicilian apartment . Very clean , bed linen and towels freshly laundered . In the centre of the old town , close to all main attractions , within easy walking distance and local transport if you wish to go further afield

The location in the Kalsa neighborhood was convenient to restaurants and a 15 minute walk to the historic center and train station. The apartment was very clean and the bedroom was very comfortable. The bathroom was great with an excellent shower. The decoration is very interesting and pleasant. We had a really nice stay and the owner, Francesca, was really helpful providing information to us.

A beautiful apartment in a vibrant part of town, feels very non touristy in an accessible way.Very quiet, slept so well.The host is super helpful and kind.

Staying at Francesca's apartment made our Palermo experience. It was convenient, located in the heart of Kalsa and with so many excellent bars, restaurants and landmarks in close proximity. The apartment itself was clean, classy and the terrace is extra special. Francesca and her son helped us check in and their communication was excellent. Thank you for having us!

This apartment has an excellent location and is a beautiful property. Unusual in Palermo for having both a balcony and a private garden patio. A/c was excellent and an appreciated the use of the washing machine. The management was responsive and hospitable. I look forward to returning to this property. It is a gem!!!

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was super clean, comfortable, and in an amazing location. We could easily walk to all the great spots in Palermo, as well as the water and train station, which made exploring the city and day trips so convenient.Francesca is wonderful - very communicative, responsive, and incredibly helpful with recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and spots to visit. You could really tell she wanted us to have a great experience, and we appreciated all of her suggestions.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Palermo. Great location, beautiful and comfortable space, and a fantastic host. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

This was our second time staying at this property. It is a great place. The location is very nice. Easy to get to the centro storico but also very close to a park right by the sea, which is nice to sit at in the evenings. The property is very well taken care of and the host Francesca is extremely helpful with suggestions for places to go and answering questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Kalsa was absolutely perfect! We loved the location and the ability to walk everywhere we wanted! Shopping was close, great restaurants too! The kitchen was very well equipped and the terrace for coffee in the morning and wine at night was our favorite! Francesca was great, responded to all communication almost immediately! We have nothing but positive things to say and wonderful memories!

Location is great and center if old town, the apartment most charming and the garden wonderful. Lots of space and quiet street. Near restaurants and walkable to visit churches, palazzi and stroll the cafes. Highly recommend.

Great week in Palermo

The appt was very nice. We very much enjoyed our stay here. It was in a quiet spot but walking distance from everywhere we wanted to be. Francesca was very nice and helpful to us.

A garden oasis

The property was fantastic with everything you could ask for and more. The courtyard beyond the kitchen is an amazing space to relax, have coffee, and read. Our host was amazing, and helped organize a trip to the beach for us with a private car. When in Palermo stay here!

This is a beautiful apartment in an excellent area of the historic centre. Handy for the marina and botanical gardens, it's easy walking distance to all the main sights and the rail station. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby and, crucially, a fantastic cake shop! The apartment itself is clean and spacious. It's of a traditional style with antique furniture and some lovely art. The kitchen is fully equipped and the terrace is ideal for eating and relaxation. Also very secure, and felt completely safe in the surrounding area.

Great space

Very large apartment , 12 foot ceilings, very private terrace in back. Great location for walking Palermo. Francesca could not have been nicer - picked us up at the bus station coming in, drove us to the airport when leaving.

We had the perfect stay in Palermo at this Verbo residence. Francesca was communicative from the very first day, translating into our language anytime we need information. We had a small problem in the apartment and within 10 minutes it was resolved. She came personally and couldn’t have been more sincere in her determination that we have a great time.Our intent on this trip was to enjoy the ambience of historic Palermo and this apartment is the perfect place to do that; it’s located in the heart of the historic district.Francesca lined up drivers for us when we came and went from the airport; she did everything in her power to make our stay easy and relaxing. We highly recommend this rental location.

Spacey and clean apartment with nice terasse

Absolutely recommendable. Very friendly and respectful landlady Francesca. The neighbourhood is lively but not noisy. Very close to the waterfront and the park. Conveniently out of the tourist areas but in walking distance of everything. Nicely and tasteful furnished and everything works.

Great spot

Francesca's place was a great spot to call home for our week in Palermo. The street is quiet, but you're a 7/8 minute walk to the busier streets with restaurants and sights. A few things worth noting: The place was clean and the water pressure in the shower was strong. You may have to bring washing machine liquid if you were looking to use that, it works well. The coffee in the apartment seemed old, I’d bring your own.

Firstly, it is a spacious and very beautifully decorated apartment, so it is a very pleasant environment in which to relax. It is nicely located in the old city with many things close by, including some great restaurants. The host is very welcoming with excellent communications. She gave us very thorough instructions, lots of recommendations and advice and was very helpful. Highly recommended! A great way to experience Palermo.

We spent a truly wonderful week in this apartment. It’s spacious, naturally cool against the searing Sicilian sun, and the real pièce de résistance is the gorgeous balcony — a little green oasis overflowing with plants, perfect for relaxing above the lively streets of Palermo. The city itself feels like opening a Pandora’s box, with spectacular sights waiting around every corner to delight and surprise. Our host, Francesca, made our experience even better. She was incredibly helpful and thoughtful — from arranging our airport transfers, to recommending great places to eat and explore, and even kindly letting us stay an extra night after I accidentally mixed up our departure date. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I’d happily recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to soak up the authentic vibe of this historic city, with so much to discover the moment you step outside, it’s the perfect base for enjoying everything Palermo has to offer.
