Ranch Guest House Perto de San Pedro Conservation Area

Perfect for those seeking a private setting with easy access to attractions in Cochise County. We are located within an easy drive for day trips to wildlife refuges, historic mining towns, national forests and state parks. Cochise County is a Hot Spot in the southwest where birders are treated to large congregations of birds and the opportunity to see many unique bird species and other wildlife.

For your convenience, The 4V guest cabin is fully equipped with cookware, utensils, large refrigerator, electric oven/range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and outdoor gas grill. There is also a clothes washer and dryer. The private fenced yard offers space for dogs to play, and for you to relax and watch the wildlife.

People traveling with horses are welcome to stay. We are located within a reasonable commute for day trips for trail riding and/or hiking. The property is accessible and there's room to park your truck and trailer. Horse amenities include individual corrals, arena, dry-lot turnouts with shade. There is a horse fee added to the daily rental for the Guest Cabin. Must inquire prior to reserving if you plan to bring your horses.

Discounts are available for monthly (28 days or more) or weekly (7 days) rentals. The VRBO system will deduct from the daily rate and calculate for you the final discounted rate.

A few nearby attractions, that make a great day trip are the Historic Towns of Tombstone and Bisbee, Fort Bowie National Historic Site, Kartchner Caverns State Park, Cochise Stronghold (visible from the property), the nearby Amerind Foundation Museum, or the historic settlement of Fairbank.

All the Stars!

This was one of the best vacations/staycations I've ever had. I live an hour away & wanted to escape for a long weekend with my dogs. The owners, the property, the cabin, the view, the location - everything was perfect!My dogs loved the fenced yard, and exploring the property - with the owner's gracious permission.4V more than deserves all the 5-star reviews. We'll be back!

Peace in St. David

We had a wonderful stay in St. David at the 4V Ranch. The guest house was clean and cozy. The owners were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. From the ranch we were able to enjoy stunning views, beautiful sunsets and all sorts of desert birds. We were in heaven and plan to stay again in the near future.

Excellent stay

This is my second time staying at this property, and I love it each time. Caroline and Charlie are wonderful and the property is very relaxing. I love to cook, and the kitchen is fully stocked and a nice big outside grill for making a meal. My parents live 3 miles away and the hotels around them aren't very nice. I will come again and enjoy the peace and views.

Perfect Place

This great little guest house was truly perfect! Quiet, beautifully peaceful, lots of backyard birds to watch and enjoy. The location was ideal for our day trips to all the southern Arizona hiking and historical sites, and quite a bonus to be able to arrive "home" at the end of the day and enjoy a quiet, private meal. Hosts were so kind and not intrusive in the least. We hope to stay here again!

Beautiful Ranch Retreat

Quiet Getaway

Had a wedding in the area and it was a great break from the festivities. Peaceful and relaxing. Great for a couple looking to relax after a day out in nature. Hosts very welcoming.

Vacation

I had a wonderful time staying here. Caroline made me feel right at home. The place was horse themed and just beautiful. Beautiful area, peacefull and just what I needed. I enjoyed sitting out on the back porch watching the wild life come in and eat and drink. I will definitely recommend this home and will be back!

Perfect!

We had a wonderful time here. The house was spotless clean and I loved the decor. The backyard is large and fenced in, our dog Dewey loved it. We also counted twenty one different kinds of birds on the property. Lots of privacy but if you do need something Caroline and Charlie are right there for you, they are very helpful and so nice. We highly recommend this rental.

We didn’t make good use of the cottage; mostly spent days sightseeing & visiting relatives, Didn’t think I’d ever miss TV but found evenings to be long, Missed not having my horses for something to do! Cabin very clean; bed comfortable & loved the horse theme & pictures;,

Terrific location, friendly hosts.

Terrific location—easy access to Kartchner Caverns, Chiricahua National Monument, Bisbee, Tombstone and Patagonia Nature Preserve. Truly enjoyed our weeklong stay. Would certainly return if in this area again. Caroline and Charlie were excellent hosts.

Cute House with Big Yard

This was a great little place that has all the amenities. You can see it was recently remodeled and everything is clean and in good shape. The yard is huge and completely fenced in with a nice shaded porch area. The hosts were very welcoming and I loved the stories of the old mining days of Arizona. I think the best aspect of this place is it's central location to explore all of southeast Arizona. If you like hiking and exploring there are many different wilderness areas within an hour drive. To me it's the quintessential wild west Arizona that you see in movies and read about in history books.

A wonderful stay

We had such a great stay at Caroline's place! It was an absolutely perfect retreat and spot to explore the area from (great birding opportunities). The cabin and property are lovely and Caroline was a wonderful host. We particularly enjoyed watching the variety of birds at the feeders while sipping our morning coffee. We hope to be back someday, as we fell in love with Arizona immediately!

First time not staying in a hotel - loved it

Really enjoyed my stay at Caroline and Charles’ property in St. David. It was centrally located to everything I wanted to see - Fort Bowie, the Dragoon and Chiricahua Mts., Tucson, Bisbee, etc…. It was quiet, relaxed, stocked well and really comfortable to have a place I could come and go, cook a meal if I wanted to and just “recharge” for a week. Will return!
