NEW BEACHSIDE COTTAGE, STEPS FROM THE BEACH!!!

Welcome to Sea Salt Cottage! The Cottage is located at Hammock Dunes, one of the newest communities in Orange Beach. A new beautifully decorated cottage just steps from the white sand beach with a beautiful, large, shared gulf side pool! This is the perfect place for a vacation at the beach!

Location, location, location!!! The cottage is in the heart of Orange Beach, conveniently located just east of the Gulf State Park. The white sand beach steps away, a shared seaside pool, lots of restaurants youā€™ll be in the middle of it all!

Our 1478sq ft. 2 bedroom/3 full bath cottage is decorated in happy, comfortable beach cottage chic. It features wood grain ceramic tile throughout, shiplap covered walls on the main level, a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, and luxurious granite countertops throughout.

The two master suites feature beds custom-made from reclaimed wood to match our cottage charm. Sea Salt Cottage is beautifully decorated with a combination of custom-made furniture and art from local artists as well as new furniture. The comfortably furnished balcony is the perfect spot to start your days with a cup of coffee and enjoy views of the beach.

The first master suite has a king-size bed and a large bathroom with a standup shower and double vanities with lots of counter space. There is a large flat-screen TV and privacy blinds on the windows.

The second master suite features two queen beds and a matching custom-made set of twin bunk beds. The bathroom is also very large with a tiled tub/shower combo and double vanities. This room also has privacy blinds and a large TV.

The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of counter space and a huge island for preparing those seafood feasts! There is a Keurig and a traditional-style coffee maker. The open floor plan keeps you free to enjoy your guests that are in the living room and dining room as well as beach views from the large kitchen island.

The Cottage also has covered parking for two as well as an outdoor shower to get all that sand off from all those trips to the beach! A full-size washer and dryer are located between the two master suites.

The living room has a 65ā€ smart TV with DISH. There are also two large sofas and a very comfortable recliner. One of the sofas is a pull-out queen-sized sleeper. Guests using the sleeper sofa will have access to the main floor full bathroom. The cottage has the capability of sleeping up to eight. However, only 6 adults per reservation, please!
To make your vacation easier for you we are happy to include 6 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, and beach towels for you to use while visiting! All you need to do is show up and have a great time!!!

We had the best stay! The house was very clean and great amenities. We really loved having a 3rd full bath for post beach/pool showers. The beds are a little high and difficult to get into and was warm and to stay cool even though we visited in off season. Other than that it was very comfortable and loved the pool and very short walk to the beach!

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. There was a partial view of the ocean and the walk to the beach is very short and easy. The shared pool was also very nice with a very shallow wading depth on one end and 5 ft deep at the other. We were very happy with the rental and would book here again. The location is great with easy access to a number of great stores and restaurants

Beach, baseball and fishing!

The cottage exceeded our expectations and looks like it was professionally decorated. The description and photos were just like the advertised online description. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean including pull out drawers, no crumbs!! All bedrooms are upstairs and spacious which was a plus for multiple large suitcases. Both of the bedrooms have a full bathroom. Beds were comfortable and perfectly arranged. Our host had beach chairs and towels that we could use along with other beach items. The cottage was the perfect location and a 2 minute walk to the beach. From the balcony you can drink coffee, see the beach and hear the waves breaking onshore. Our host was great about answering any questions prior to the trip and during our stay. We were given a recommendation for a fishing guide by our host. Gotcha Fishing Charters was great with 4 boys catching dinner.

Great Cottage

Great Cottage for our family of 5. Short walk to the beach. Enjoy your morning coffee from the deck overlooking the beach! The guest room was awesome with a set of bunk beds and two queen beds. Speaking of beds all so very comfortable.

Fun beach spot

Overall we enjoyed our stay; orange beach is relaxed and fun for families. The cottage is a great location to the beach and the access to the pool really helps with little ones. You can walk to the beach in 2 minutes, the waves were big for our kids but lots of big kids were loving them. Some restaurants are close if youā€™re willing to walk across a busy road. Most restaurants we enjoyed are a 10-15 min drive. We had a small view of the ocean; Iā€™m not sure the other cottages do so that was a win. The pool is small but we often had it to ourselves. We also enjoyed night time swimming as a fun adventure. The check in process was seamless; Greta is very helpful and timely. She had beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, a wagon and beach toys. The cottage is a true beach cottage; cute and ocean themed. It was clean when we arrived. I know itā€™s hard to keep rugs clean in a beach house but the rug in the upstairs bedroom needs to be replaced. That bedroom also runs very warm; it didnā€™t really cool at night. The beds are definitely high; it would be a challenge for young children or elderly people. Directly off the porch is a large house under construction; itā€™s an eyesore. But we were close enough to the beach that we could run back for kids snacks or a bathroom break. We had loads of fun fishing over by the library (10min drive); itā€™s a beautiful pier. The wharf is a 10-15 minute drive; they have coffee, restaurants ,an arcade and a laser show at night.

Great stay with the family!

We are a family of 8 with 5 teenagers and a recent college grad. It was our first time visiting Orange Beach and we were very pleased with the experience and the cottage. Wasnā€™t directly on beach but it didnā€™t matter. Itā€™s a very quick walk to the beach (1-minute maybe??). Beach wasnā€™t very crowded at all where this stretch was. The kids loved the option to swim in the pool too! Very close to restaurants, about 1.7 miles to a grocery store and a Walmart. 20-minute drive down to The Wharf. Only minor inconvenience was spotty WiFi on main level of cottage and a charcoal grill instead of a gas grill. Overall, we would highly recommend this location and house!

All was great. Thanks for letting us rent. Only problem was house keeping left air conditioning off and no fans run. Took awhile to get temp down. Did correct on bottom floor but top remained warm. Thermostat needed on top floor.

Great Location

Our host provided us with the door code by email prior to our arrival which meant we didnā€™t have to go to a different location before being able to access the rental. The covered parking was just steps from the front door and IMO it was a great perk that kept our vehicle out of the hot sun and it meant less sand in our vehicle. It was an extremely short and direct walk to the beach and the location was close to a Walmart and Publix. The house was extremely clean and comfortable for our party of three kids and two adults.

Great beach house to stay at! Close to the water, family friendly, great amenities (bath towels, beach towels, kitchen pots and pans, etc), and board games for the family. This is the second time weā€™ve stayed at this location and will definitely be returning! Host is great at communicating too.

The home and furnishings are beautiful. Extremely clean. Very comfortable beds. Beds are all high so that could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Lots of outdoor equipment for the pool and beach. Perfect location. Weā€™ll definitely be back!

Fantastic Beach house

What a great place. Very short walk to the beach. The beach was gorgeous. Beautiful white sand. We were there during spring break and beach wasnā€™t super crowded. The shared pool was very nice. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. The property was very well stocked with everything to cook meals. Even had a blender for some frozen cocktails. We appreciated the beach chairs and towels. The beds were super comfortable. They are pretty tall so would be difficult to get into if you are elderly. The location was great. Short walk to some great restaurants. We rented bikes one day for the trails. So much fun. Found out after that there are all kinds of free bikes at sharing stations. I would highly recommend this property. Very easy check out process. Greta is also great to work with. Thanks for allowing us to stay in this great property
