Apartment above a double garage, about 7 years old.

Brightly decorated unit in Mexican motif, our son moved out of the country. He picked tile, colors and there is plenty of his personal art remaining. Quiet place as unit is above garage and there are no other tall buildings near and windows have awnings and triple pane glass. We are close the DTLA, Cal State LA and the Health Science Campus of USC. Great transportation within walking distance. Beautifully kept gardens with fruit trees. There are areas where one can sit an read quietly, throughout the property. Apartment is fully furnished; and kitchen. Check out our mural on the back wall of the property. Commissioned to a local artist, Teresa Armas.

The apartment was just beautiful with so many nice details. It also had everything we needed and was comfortable for remote work. The host was very responsive, accommodating, and kind! The location was perfect, on a quiet beautiful street, but a quick drive to many different LA sights. I would definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful stay

Gloria is so hospitable and the apartment is very cute and comfortable and peaceful. Everything you could want and a 10-minute drive to downtown.

Inspiring and peaceful

Gloria was the perfect host, helpful and friendly. The apartment is gorgeous, filled with beautiful original art. Great kitchen, very well equipped. Wonderful place to stay.

Beautifully decorated home and amazing accommodations

Stepping into the place, it felt warm and inviting. The decorations and furniture were carefully chosen for a right-at-home feel, and it had everything you needed for short and long term stays. Host was communicative and friendly and gave helpful tips during our stay. Will be hoping to rest here again!

LA Casita Hideaway

We enjoyed staying here for 4 nights. Gloria, our host, was very welcoming and provided us with helpful suggestions around navigating LA. It is beautifully decorated and fairly quiet. All amenities are at your disposal, including blow dryer, shampoo, etc.. The location is situated so you can access the downtown but also escape to the suburbs/mountains to the east of LA quite easily.

So sweet!

Glorias space is super clean and the kitchen is well stocked! plenty of options on tv and a great bathroom. thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and Gloria herself is the sweetest! we'd had a long drive from the desert to her place and she had a couple cold beers and water bottles waiting for us. will definitely stay there again next time i'm traveling that way!

Magnificent Place

If I could give this place a million stars for review I would because it was definitely worth it and our stay was amazing magnificent and quiet.. a lot of privacy and the owners are very friendly and very nice. The private apartment which is separated from the house was beautiful inside and out in its surroundings. I would definitely go back because it’s worth the price… I can’t wait to revisit again… 5 plus stars

Very cute Casita

This place was very beautiful, and had lots of charm. It has everything you need for convenience and while being away from home. I did not use the kitchen, but it was well equipped to cook and prepare meals if needed. The location itself is centrally located, and a quick drive anywhere, minus the CA traffic. Would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future. Check in and check out was smooth. Gloria was very sweet and very responsive.

We had an awesome stay here! My boyfriend and I needed a last minute place and Gloria was more than happy to help us out! Upon arrival it was very clean and put together, everything you would need for a long stay! They even gave us complimentary water and beer which was not necessary but very appreciated! We wished we had stayed here our whole time in LA rather than our hotel, we felt so at home and safe. It was amazing after suffering for a week with parking garages to have our own parking spot as well, you would not get that with other places in LA! The bathroom was unreal, the bed very comfortable and the living room with the bar stools was so nice!! We did not get to fully use the kitchen, but all of the cooking items looked to be in great condition. Gloria was very responsive and on the off chance we needed something it was taken care of. Gloria was very nice, welcoming and so was her son, Roger! I’m glad we got to talk to them a little bit and especially meet their dog, Bandido! We highly recommend this place, check in/check out was very easy. During check out- Gloria even gave me some avocados from her tree! it was so thoughtful and they are the best avocados i’ve ever had! We look forward to staying here again if we are ever in the area

Amazing Apartment

My adult daughter and I stayed in Gloria's apartment three nights in June 2023. The apartment was perfect! There was plenty of room for the two of us. The apartment was very quiet and the bed comfortable, which lead to a wonderful sleep. Gloria provided everything we could possibly need, including a welcome gift of two bottles each of water and beer. The apartment is a three-minute drive to Cal State LA, which is where my son is staying for the summer. Gloria even provided a secure parking spot for our rental car. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

A Dreamy Mexican Hideaway

There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful the property was and how gracious and kind the hostess Gloria was to us. She was informative and so helpful. We were bummed we didn’t spend more time with her. But our overall stay was fabulous and we will definitely be back. Thank you Rancho Rogelio for a wonderful stay and giving us a home away from home.

Perfect for our needs.

My son and his family moved to South Pasadena recently and the location is only 10 minutes away. The artwork is amazing and the grounds. When I first got there, I was surprised that every turn had a beautiful accent or painting. Will definitely stay again. We arrived at around midnight and she greeted us and offered us soup or that she could make us eggs. We had had a difficult process with our rental car and she was very understanding and thought we might be hungry. What a jam!

Cozy and homey apartment near highways to LA and environs.

We felt really comfortable staying at the cozy apartment. It's full of colorful art works, and the well considered convenient kitchen and bathroom items made us feel very much at home. Gloria, the property manager, is so nice and solicitous of what we might need. We would definitely come back.

Ultra clean, safe, beautiful! And quiet!

We had a wonderful 10-day stay at this beautiful property. The apartment is ultra clean and precisely maintained. Much much cleaner than a five-star hotel. The area is ultra quiet and safe. I was perfectly Comfortable coming and going late at night and would have been had I been alone. (I’m female.) The location is fifteen minutes from everywhere. And the art/decor made me feel right at home. We plan to be back!

A Pleasant Change of Pace

My partner and I stayed for 4 days in Gloria's place and we felt right at home. Gloria is an unbelievably kind and gracious person and we would highly recommend others looking for a change of pace to stay with her. Gloria's interior design and all the art she has collected give life to this property and invite you with curiosity and astonish.

Great place.

Gloria and Davids place is amazing. It's a great setting above a garage in the back of the house. There is a lovely little garden and balcony for use as well. the place is super quite as well. Gloria is super cool and interesting and David was helpful I will stay again next time I'm in LA.. A gem!
