Pettit House is a cozy licensed short term accommodation in Prince Edward County, license # ST-2020-0174R2. Built in 1840, it was renovated and expanded, maintaining its farmhouse charm. This peaceful escape is on West Lake and is minutes from Sandbanks Park, the towns of Wellington, Bloomfield and Picton, wineries, restaurants and other activities. It is elegantly furnished for comfort and relaxation, with a chef`s kitchen and beverage station for entertaining and gourmet meals.



The Pettit House has been carefully renovated and furnished to enable guests to experience a relaxed vacation with friends and family. There is so much to do in Prince Edward County, but you won`t want to leave the grounds where you can collectively prepare gourmet meals and enjoy local food and wines. Sitting on six acres, it boasts a fire pit and water access to West Lake and Sandbanks Park. Stunning modern bathrooms, with soaker tubs and rain head showers, and lush linens make for luxurious relaxation.



The entire property is at your disposal, except the linen closet and basement. Walks around the grounds to the lake are encouraged, and enjoy the fire pit at night under the massive Butternut tree for smore`s and marshmallow roastings. The Great Room is an excellent meeting point for guests to interact, over games, tv, music and more. The dining room comfortably seats 8, where guests can enjoy a meal prepared in the gourmet kitchen.



Although we are not on site, we have arrangements with local people to attend to any concerns, provide information, suggestions on places to go, etc. We are readily available by phone and email to help maximize your stay and enjoyment.



Prince Edward County has many excellent restaurants, wineries, cideries and breweries, as well as galleries, antique and quaint shops, all within short driving distances. A book of options to explore is provided to assist with your itinerary.



You will need a car to get around, although many attractions can be accessed by bicycles. Bikes, including electric bikes, can be rented nearby. Taxis and limo services are available to keep you and your guests safe as you experience local wineries and restaurants.



There is a newly renovated on-site Gym for guests to enjoy yoga and exercise, and a level 2 J-1772 Electric Vehicle charger.
