Lake Arrowhead Village Oktoberfest runs every Saturday and Sunday from Sept 19 - Oct 25, 2026. This event features live music, authentic German beer, food, giant pretzels, and fun games and activities for all. Admission is free, making it the ideal fall weekend outing, just minutes from the cabin.

Shopping and restaurants at the Lake Arrowhead Village is a mere 8 minute drive. You'll be so close, you can even walk down to the lake. It has everything you need to make your vacation in the mountains the most memorable yet!

Winter activities: Soak in a claw foot tub after a day at the slopes. Snow Valley Ski Resort is perfect for beginners and just a 29 minute drive from the cabin. For seasoned skiers and snow boarders, Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are also just 50 minutes away. MacKay park (3 min drive) offers fun for the family in all seasons and great access to a secluded free sledding area!

Cozy and romantic cabin: The house has gorgeous views from all the three levels. The master bed room opens to a huge trex deck with a fabulous view of the lake as well. A swing and bistro dining for two provides for a romantic setting. Larger groups can also relax and stargaze from the outdoor sofa seating area.

The main floor area has another large deck with propane BBQ and outdoor patio dining table for enjoying those warm days and crisp fall mornings.

The primary bedroom has a nice retreat with French doors leading to the deck and has a wonderful view of the lake. Primary bedroom’s bathroom has a nostalgic claw foot bathtub to relax in, as you getaway from the bustling city below.

Village: Just an 8-minute drive from the cabin, Lake Arrowhead Village is the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Enjoy lakeside dining, browse the charming specialty shops and outlet stores featuring brands such as Coach and Jockey, or take a scenic boat ride aboard the Lake Arrowhead Queen from the Village waterfront.

In the fall, enjoy seasonal outdoor entertainment and live music around the Village, then grab dinner overlooking the lake before heading back to the cabin.

Nearby: The cabin is located very close to Cedar Glen shops (5 minute walk) which feature Grocery Store, Hardware store, antique shops, Restaurants etc.

If you plan to stroll down to the lake, it also is a mere 5 minute walk. Take the nearest ALA trail and hike around the lake perimeter. The marina can be seen right from the house. The main road where the house is located is snow plowed by the city in winter for easy road access to the house.

Lake and Trail Access:
One of the best parts of staying at our cabin is short-term rental guests may enjoy access to Lake Arrowhead and ALA trails during their stay, subject to current Association of Lake Arrowhead (ALA) rules and regulations.

Take a peaceful walk through the forested trails, enjoy the lake, go fishing, or take a swim while soaking up the mountain scenery.

A Few Things to Know Before Booking

Stairs: We have 47 steps leading down to the cabin, but the panoramic views of the lake make it worthwhile. Please consider this if anyone in your group has difficulty with stairs.

Pet-friendly: A pet fee applies per pet, per stay.

Beach Club: Please note that ALA Beach Clubs and certain premier member-only amenities are not available to short-term rental guests. Lake and trail access is subject to current ALA rules, safety requirements, and posted regulations.

Winter access: The main road to the cabin is snow-plowed during winter conditions, but mountain weather can change quickly. Guests should always be prepared for winter driving conditions when snow is in the forecast.
