Welcome to Hamilton Cove Villa 17-78.
With all the amenities that Hamilton Cove has to offer, this two level condo features majestic ocean views from every room, plus cozy accommodations. The large balcony overlooks Hamilton Cove architecture and has a gorgeous vista, a perfect place for you to sit back and relax during your stay at this villa.
The living area is very comfortable with its open space design and access to the private balcony. There is a Queen-sized sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook and serve meals, with plentiful counter space and a breakfast bar ideal for socializing while preparing meals.
The bedrooms are open and clean with functional furniture to provide comfort and relaxation. Spacious bedrooms with Queen beds are located on each level of the villa. The upper level has pocket doors to separate the living and sleeping areas.

The villa is about 56 steps from the street and a short golf cart drive to shops, the historic Avalon movie theater, zipline tours, scuba diving, kayaking, boating, and fishing. . | | | Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (security gate guard, pool, spa, health club, putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations. | | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted: 3 night minimum July & August).

We had a really great time. Beautiful views from the balcony, tons of space inside, and walking distance to pool and snorkeling. The golf cart was great to have for trip into Avalon. The management team was also very attentive to our needs. We hope to come back!

Beautiful Vacation home

The property was perfect for our family getaway to Catalina Island. The home was perfect and the views from the balconies and windows were breathtaking. Would definitely book again :)

Excellent condo at Hamilton Cove

This was my first time visiting Catalina island, the condo was super clean as advertised and the views of the island from the balcony are second to none. Great place to stay if you are looking for secluded quiet area. Will definitely visit again in the near future!

Good place and enjoyed our stay. But there was a serious ant problem. And we didn’t have dishwasher detergent and I called twice to get it and never received any callback. So had to go to Vons and buy so I could run off the dishwasher.

Check in was great and the kitchen facilities were awesome! This is the best stocked kitchen I have seen. We were able to make full meals with no issues. Please be aware that this is far from the port but thankfully the hosts provided us with great guidance. The view was stunning and so worth it!! The only issue we had was there was an ant infestation. The hosts offered to spray it but as we had a baby with us, we choose to hold off. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

House was beautiful. However, no attention to detail. Hardly given any toilet paper and when we called to ask for a roll, they said it was our responsibility to go to the store to get some. We were supposed to dump the garbage but no trash liners. Golf cart was really beat up - seat was duct taped together. House was having an ant problem, too.

The house, although beautiful, was a bit dated. One of the ceiling fans in the main room did not work and the arm rest of one of the patio chairs was broken. The beds were all uncomfortable especially the sofa bed which you could feel the metal rods digging into your back when sleeping. I think the main issue i had was the fact that we were given a 4 passenger golf cart when we had 6 people in our room. Going down to town was very uncomfortable for all of us. I expected better for the price that was paid

Great Location Old Dirty Furniture

Stayed in Hamilton cove for 5 years now. Had many different villas over the years several times each summer. HOA checkin booth not helpful AT ALL( bad attitude from older lady) Checkin time was great allowed us to drop off our bags early. Kitchen chairs old and partly broken. Golf cart was falling apart and was the oldest in town lol, smelled too much of gas bad for my kids(you need a new one). Ceiling fans only had one setting too fast and noisy at night couldnt sleep well. Beds very uncomfortable and pillows very low quality. Cheap sofas and atleast should be cleaned regularly to smell fresh(steam clean needed) Refrigerator had no ice machine for a hot summer thumbs down. Very old wood table and chairs on patio with bugs on them. Had to throw some hot water to clean off bugs and sit on them to enjoy the view. I would not stay at this villa again unless they upgraded beds, furniture and had better ceiling fans and atleast a functioning ice maker(they took it out). NOT WORTH THE PRICE

Ants in the terrible bed.

The property was nice and has a fantastic view. There are quite a few stair steps to climb to get to the front door but having use of the golf cart is worth it. The condominium was nice; however, we discovered that there was an ant infestation, the bed downstairs is horrible, and I had to tinker with both TVs to get them to work. We stayed for two nights. The second night we discovered ants in the downstairs bed. Had we stayed longer I would have ended up sleeping on the couch because the downstairs bed needs to be replaced.

Not clean or accurate

This is a 1 bedroom with a bed in the living area. The place was filthy. We messaged the property manager and sent pictures, but never received a response back. Beautiful view and would definitely stay in Avalon Cove again, but not this property.

Luxury condos with to die for view

I wish we would have times our arrival better or packed lighter. We wanted to enjoy avalon in the morning before check in but didnt want to lug our luggage around. There is an option right near the port where you can pay to have them store luggage. It runs about $10 a bag. We went to lunch and then walked back and grabbed a taxi to take about a mile up to hamilton cove. We took a van and was $19 plus $1 per person after that. We needed to take the taxi back to the same spot upon checkout as well. This condo is bigger than the pictures portray it to be. It is two stories. The master bedroom has a shower and big bathtub in it so its great for a romantic dip for two. The view is gorgeous and doesn't compare to the other buildings. I got two condos for this trip and the other just had a partial view of the water. There are beach chairs in the closet, along with some sports equipment to use at the amenities. The kitchen is equipped with almost anything you could possibly need. Washer and dryer in unit are convenient you just need your own detergent. The golf cart was really fun to use. Gas needs to be filled at other side of the island. Use regular gas not diesal. If you stay at Hamilton cove you definitely need a golf cart. I want to book this exact unit again next year. Thank you catalina vacation rentals for making everything so easy and for allowing us early check in. That was helpful and amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. We found it to be very clean and well supplied with dishes and towels.The view was spectacular and we enjoyed the tennis courts and miniature golf.

Great Location & Great View!

Looks as described. View is amazing and the community is nicely kept. While we were extremely happy we had one, the only thing I would recommend is upgrading the golf cart. It worked fine and got us to where we needed to go, but it's a little worse for the wear. That being said, we couldn't have been happier with our stay and plan on visiting the island again.

My family had a great experience! Everything in the unit was clean and working. It is definitely larger than the pics let on. The included covered golf cart holds 6 and was easy to drive and park. We will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful stay

This was our second time staying in Hamilton cove on Catalina island but first time at this rental. The rental was perfect!! Gorgeous views and very spacious. It was only my husband and I but 6 people could have fit very comfortably. Not too many steps compared to other locations in Hamilton cove. The golf cart was wonderful to have but could use an upgrade and only seats 4. Overall very great rental property and would happily stay again!
