Warm home in historic western Urbana

New April 2021: this home has a completely new heating and cooling system with an ionizing filtration system similar to what is used in hospitals (and proven to kill COVID). Extremely comfortable and quiet heating and cooling with humidity control!

This is a beautiful home right in the heart of Urbana. It features original woodwork and hardwood flooring, and as of September 2019, new high-end Samsung kitchen appliances. Though just two bedrooms are shown in the photos, this is a 4-5 bedroom house with 2 full bathrooms. Please inquire so we can discuss beds, parking, and pricing so we can be sure the terms are fitting for both parties. We generally prefer longer bookings.

This home has recently renovated kitchens and bathrooms. There are also large common spaces (living room, family room, dining room). There is a large dining room table, couch, 65" smart TV, and multifunction printer/scanner. The house has a very fast Wifi network.

We spared no expense on the kitchen. The kitchen features high-end black stainless steel Samsung Smart appliances all around. This includes an extremely quiet dishwasher, microwave (with a powerful vent the exhausts outdoors), gas range and double oven, and a very large fridge/freezer with filtered water and ice maker. The fridge even has an integrated filtered water pitcher that automatically refills.

The 1st floor of the house is all hardwood floors. The entire 2nd floor, with the exception of the bathroom, is carpeted. The house has central heating and air conditioning.

We generally assume 2 people per bed. If you are booking for a group, please inquire so we can discuss bedding options and pricing.

The detached garage is used for storage and not available for guest use. I may access the garage occasionally (usually when I'm doing outdoor upkeep like mowing the lawn) but can do so without disturbing the home in any way. The property does have security cameras on the exterior only.
