We are a short driving distance to Whittier, Portgage Glacier, Seward, And even the Kenai Peninsula.

Beautiful cabin. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of space for a large group. Relaxing hot tub in beautiful wooded scenery. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this lovely vacation home.

Incredible home in an incredible place!

Unbelievable location in Girdwood and we walked everywhere through the beautiful town. The log cabin was charming and well appointed for our large group. It had everything we could've needed for our stay. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality and for making this home available to us - we'd love to return and highly recommend!

Simply Incredible spot

Place is amazing, proximity to all kinds of adventures, the resort, HWY, and town of Girdwood. Accomodation itself is super comfortable. Highly endorse. It was a great cabin!

Great Girdwood location

We loved this home! There was plenty of room for everyone, a well stocked and functional kitchen. The Bake Shop is walking distance for the house if you want some fresh sour dough bread and homemade jam! We are looking forward to returning!

Family Fun

What a great place for family fun. There was plenty of room and sleeping options for a large family. Loved the sound system and speaker options, even in the bathroom! The large deck was a delightful place for a morning cup of coffee. A very well stocked kitchen made cooking meals easy. The location was great for the Cirque Series mountain run.

Girdwood getaway

Wow, just wow!!! This place was fantastic!! The kitchen was very well stocked from coffee to pancake stuff! As well as all the pots, pans, plates etc to enjoy large meals. The games that were there were fun and the beds were great. We used this as a jumping off point for a full week of fun for our sons wedding, it was perfect. Thank you!!!

I chose this property first because of the excellent pictures. I can say WOW!!! I was blown away!!! The owner said that she had just finished a remodel in the cabin and I thought well great! But when I walked into the Cabin for the first time I was so excited!!! The Location was amazing, mountain views all around you. The snow/mud room at the entry was a genius thought for winter days for sure. You could tell from that point the there was alot of thought put into the layout of the place. The bottom bedroom, separate bathroom and washroom was very nicely done. Plenty of space for kids or adults to just unwind away from everyone. The main floor was amazing!! New everything!!! The cabin felt so solid and cozy at the same time. The kitchen was beautiful, and the granite counters and stainless steel appliances really matched well with the new cabinets. We cooked every evening we were there and the kitchen had every supply I needed to cook some amazing meals. The bathrooms were so clean and the owner thought of everything for you. New fine linens, towels, (sheets were sateen) everything you need to feel like you are on a luxury vacation. I slept like a baby!!! SO peaceful and the HOT TUB!!!! OH MY GOD!!! It was the BEST LUXURY OF ALL! Martini's and Views of the mountains in the evenings were a wonderful end to a day. This place has it all! Matter of fact I referred a friend the day after I left and She called me when she arrived and was nuts about the place!!! I was so jealous!!! She stayed two days after I left and I missed it already! The Cabin has inspired me to build my own and actually move to Girdwood. Jenny you have a little diamond and I so appreciate the fact that you are sharing it for everyone to experience !!! Thank you so much! I will send you everyone I know!!!

We know where we are staying our next visit!

We will definitely return to this hidden gem. Centrally located to so many activities. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great communication with owner. Owners were accommodating when we had a family health emergency. We will be back to Alaska and book the Alpine Haus for sure!!!

Vacation/Wedding

This property was excellent! The location was perfect for hiking, wedding and restaurants. Space was great inside, hot tub was good and we really appreciated the soaps, towels and other small items already in the kitchen and bathrooms. The “mud room” was great to hang wet coats and wet shoes without messing up the rest of the floors. The only suggestion we have is to possibly put a dehumidifier in the bottom floor. All of the wet gear gives the bedroom a musty smell. We will be returning to Alaska next year for another wedding and would readily book this same cabin again.

What an outstanding stay

Great location, great accommodations and so well stocked. We had 6 adults, enjoyed a meal at the home with an evening in the Hot Tub and a fire in the fireplace! We all give this home a 5 star!

Excellent Location and Beautiful Accommodations

This was a perfect place to stay. It was in the middle of everything and a walk away from great dining and incredible scenery. We were a fairly quick drive to Anchorage and very close to amazing recreation, helicopter ride to glaciers and ATVing. It was fabulous. Tammi was always quick to respond with questions. I would recommend this place to stay as the most beautiful and centralized area to stay. Thank you again!!!

Son's Wedding

I rented this house for the grooms men and their partners from out of town. They had a great time and were very comfortable and happy to stay in this house. The hot tub was a big hit also.

After renting this property for 5 winters, two Alaskan ski families purchased this home for a winter getaway. We have made many improvements to this cabin to make it our own and provide luxury accommodations for our summer guests.

The location of our cabin cannot be beat! We are on the first block just below the mountain e. It's an easy 2-minute walk to our favorite restaurant, Jack Sprat, or 4 minutes to the day lodge or Sitzmark, a local bar, restaurant and concert venue.
