Modern apt with private garden facing south-west, in La Cala de Mijas
Modern apartment on ground floor with its own garden facing south-west with very good location in La Cala. Very child friendly area; from the garden you can go directly to the cozy pool area with no stairs (also separate children's pool!) Just next to La Noria 9 hole golf course and the market place (nice market Wednesdays and Saturdays). You can walk easily (no hills) to the center of La Cala with shops, restaurants, bars and the amazingly nice beach in just minutes. It is so close that you can go home and get refreshments from the beach! On summer evenings there is a lot of activity on the boardwalk for the entire family.
20 min drive to Málaga Airport, 5 minutes to Fuengirola and 20 minutes to Marbella. You can also easily take the bus to either Fuengirola or Marbella.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms; one with double bed and one with 2 single beds. There are 2 bathrooms with shower / bath, a lounge with a sofa that can be used as an extra bed for 2, kitchen with separate utility room and exit to a small patio with morning sun. Exit to the southwest with dining table and chairs from the master bedroom and parlor. Off the bedroom is a small sitting area for quiet moments. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and central AC. Free parking on the street outside.
Lots of great golf courses nearby. Next door is a 9-hole "midsize" golf course! Please ask for tips about golf! Now there is also a newly brilliant boardwalk where you can stroll along the beach towards Marbella, a very pleasant walk or morning jog!

Excellent. Our 4th visit to La Cala and this apartment was the best. Ground floor with a terrace and private garden. Karen is the main contact who met us and her communication was efficient and faultless. Also met Maria the owner who made the booking process seamless. Can't beat the location. Short walk to beach, supermarket and many restaurants/cafes. Car not required.

Beautiful apartment in a great location with everything you could need for the perfect holiday. Only thing missing was beach towels but we bought some for a few euros. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

Perfect location
What a great apartment perfect location for beach shops and restaurants. The garden is great get sun nearly all day
from about 11 o’clock but if you are an early riser there is another terrace which gets the sun early so you can sit and have your breakfast and a drink. The community pool is large with plenty of space to sunbathe. Sun beds available

Weeks break for golf
The apartment is ideally located in an excellent place just outside La Cala Mijas. The facilities are all within walking distance i.e. Supermarket, town centre, La Noria golf course.
The apartment has aircon, which is a massive bonus, especially on the hotter days and has all the facilities, dishwasher, washing machine etc needed for a week's stay. There are two bathrooms with showers (one a rain shower) so there is no waiting for a bathroom for two people.
We will be booking here again.

We had a very comfortable 3 weeks in the apartment which is in an excellent location, a 5 minute walk to the multiple bars and restaurants and an even shorter walk to Carrefour and Aldi. Shopping was made even easier by the inclusion of a shopping trolley in the apartment. The garden was really pretty and a great sun trap. Check in and out was very easy and professionally completed. We'll definitely be back!

Ideal apartment
Myself and my family had such a lovely stay, the apartment is ideal and has everything you could possibly need for your holiday. The pool is less than a minute walk and is great. So peaceful and relaxing.
The walk down to the bars and restaurant is only 10 mins and there are 2 supermarkets right on your doorstep for all your necessities. Maria was great at getting back to me with any questions I had. Everything went smoothly on arrival too with Carol meeting us and explaining everything and again meeting us when we left. I wont hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Thank you!

Long Easter break away
The property was clean, tidy and very well presented. There was plenty of equipment/utensils left for us to use during our stay Eg the pull along shopping trolley was really useful to collect groceries from the 4 major supermarkets all within 5 minutes walk on the flat Eg Aldi, Lidl, Carrefour and Mercadona! There was plenty of bed linen and towels to use. The rear garden of the property was a great size for our party to use with plenty of sun until the evening and the front patio was handy for the morning sun. Check in and out was very professional and we were given a contact if we needed anything during our stay. The pool area was very well kept. The property is only 10 minutes flat walk to the beach.

Nice apartment with a dirty pool

We had 12 good days in the apartment. Check-in and check-out were very smooth, with a contact person on-site to show us around. The apartment is spacious and impeccably clean, with all kitchen amenities available. There is a pleasant patio that offers shade in the morning. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is good.
A large grocery store is located across the street, and it takes only a few minutes to walk to the town center and about 10 minutes to reach the beach.
The major downside was the pool, which was very dirty. We reported this immediately, but our concerns were met with indifference, and nothing was done. Each day, the pool became dirtier until, after seven days, the water was so green and murky that you couldn't see the bottom. The pool had to be closed for a day for shock chlorination. It is clear that the apartment community is cutting corners on cleaning and basic maintenance.
When we mentioned this, we were told that we were the only ones who had complained, which is strange. We have rented various apartments in Spain about ten times, but we have never seen a pool this dirty.
So our summary of the apartment is that it is a great choice, provided that you can accept a dirty pool.

I'm sorry you felt the pool was dirty when everybody else was swimming and playing happily (apart from the ONE day it had to be closed). You are indeed the only client ever who has complained about the pool.

Huis was gastvrij en alles was aanwezig. Het enige minpuntje er was maar 1 deksel voor de pannen. Als je graag zelf kookt mis je de deksels wel.

fantastic apartment
Just returned from a weeks stay in this apartment, can't fault it at all fantastic location, fantastic apartment. Clean,spacious, pool on your doorstep what more do you need. Can't wait to return would recommend this apartment to any one wanting to go to this area.

This apartment we bought mainly because of the fantastic location; walking distance to everything in La Cala; the great beach and all the bars and restaurants. We love the garden facing south-west and the lovely urbanization. That it is a modern apartment with all the facilities you need, including under-floor-heating in the bathrooms, is a great plus!

Just outside the door is the lovely 9-hole-golf course La Noria and beside it is the closest restaurant "Mr Wok". The whole area is very flat, there are no hills!
