We rented the house for our son’s graduation from ND. It was perfect for our family. Very quiet neighborhood. Had everything we needed. Eric was wonderful with his commutation and leaving us snacks and drinks. Would would stay there again if needed. Thanks

Awesome!

Our experience was excellent! Eric is a phenomenal host. He communicated all the details and made everything very easy. The property is roomy, spotless and equipped with everything we needed. Eric provided us with drinks and snacks as we had a very late arrival due to flight delays . As advertised it is a short drive or Uber to the notre dame campus. Thank you Eric!

A Great Experience Again

This is our second time staying at the property as the first time was a great experience and this second time was another great experience. The house is very clean and very nicely decorated. The backyard is amazing to sit outside and enjoy either a meal or just sit around and enjoy the fire pit at night. The beds are extremely comfortable and all the little touches makes this a no brainer that you should not be worried about staying here at all. Only 5.5 miles from Notre Dame stadium about a 20 minute drive or rideshare of choice. Look forward to our next game and when that is this will most definitely be our first choice if available to stay. Thank you again for another amazing stay.

Like House Sitting for a Good Friend!

My Fiancé, two of our good friends (not a couple), and myself booked this house for a fun long weekend. We were there to enjoy the Spartan Stadium race at Notre Dame (GO FIGHTING IRISH!). We needed 3 separate beds, plenty of living space, outdoor patio seating area and grill, and a well-equipped kitchen. Eric's house delivered on ALL needs and then some! PROS: -ALL Beds were wonderfully comfortable with nice sheets, many different pillows (including round body pillows), and fluffy duvet covers. -Bathrooms were stocked with anything you might need, and Eric left a basket on each bed with towels and soaps. Insanely hot water and plenty of it! -Closets were stocked with extra towels, blankets, pillows, etc to suit any need -Because Eric lives here (when no one is renting it), the house is kept cleaned and stocked with everything you would have in your own home. He even keeps the fridge stocked with everyday items like ketchup, mayo, hot sauce, water, etc and the cabinets stocked with spices and nonstick spray. What a money saver and stress relief to not feel like you have to run and get everything just to make a meal. If you forget something, more than likely he has it. Plenty of spatulas, utensils, plates, bowls, and non-stick cooking pans. Oh, and a beautiful Ninja Coffee maker with frothier and Ninja Blender. -Front Livingroom has an insanely comfortable couch with soft pillows and throw blankets. We hung out there in the morning while taking turns cooking breakfast and eating at the table. I personally loved that each area could hold 6 adults… both living rooms, patio, sunroom, dining table, etc. We were able to hang out anywhere and not feel like there wasn’t a place to sit. -Back Livingroom has a comfortable couch, great gas fireplace and view of the beautiful back yard -Sunroom was lovely and comfortable to sit in with the string lights and fan going. -Patio with table, Patio chairs, Grill, and Firepit with Adirondack chairs was awesome! The back yard is amazing and beautiful! -House is in a quiet cul-de-sac and a very safe neighborhood. Only minutes from many stores. CONS -None We have rented several places on VRBO that the owner appeared to have not visited in a long while and it felt neglected and more like a hotel room with just the basic amenities. This is NOT the case with Eric’s home! It was like house sitting for a good friend. Thank you for renting out your home, it was a treat to spend the weekend with friends! 😊

Absolutely AMAZING!

Every detail of the property was better than we ever thought it could be. The attention to detail by the host made us feel like we were his own family. Looked clean, smelled clean and was clean. So many areas in the home to spend time visiting. The yard was like paradise with a propane fire pit. A variety of birds sang to us all day! The neighborhood was safe and a perfect place to go for a walk. The host was very easy to get ahold of. If we have reasons to stay in South Bend again, we’ll check the availability of this property before any other.

Great home close to Notre Dame

The home owner was very accommodating and even had snacks & drinks available for us. His home was very clean and fit our family of 6 very comfortably. The beds and pillows were nicer than those in a hotel. The couch is where our 15 year old chose to sleep and she said it was more comfortable than her bed at home! If we ever go to South Bend again, we will try to book this vrbo again!

Football weekend sanctuary

Quiet, secluded south bend home was perfect for our family for the weekend. Easy drive to campus for ND football game. The home is meticulously appointed with everything a small group would need and remarkably spacious with back yard sunroom and patio. Beds and baths clean and very comfortable. Living room couch ridiculously cozy. Eric was extremely responsive and gracious offering snacks and drinks and even some tailgating gear. Will definitely stay here again with 2 kids going through Notre Dame.

Best experience

This place spoiled me for all future rentals. He stocked the kitchen for an apocalypse-every kind of beverage, snack food was at your fingertips! The beds were sups comfortable-I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Great neighborhood, great layout of the house, very nice and accommodating host with great communication. Thank you so much for letting us use your space! I wish our trip was longer in your wonderful South Bend Oasis!!

Wonderful property, better host!

This is a neat and tidy house about 10 minutes from Notre Dame. The area is great! Very quiet and safe. The host has created a wonderful outside area for relaxing and the whole place is top shelf. I’ll probably find myself back up that way in May and will not hesitate to stay here again!

Awesome!

The place was amazing. It exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and comfortable and the host went above and beyond with little "extras" that were not necessary but were much appreciated. We were in town visiting family and finding this place and being able to stay here definitely made our trip feel like a vacation. We will try to stay here again the next time we travel to the area.

92 Birthday Dinner

We had a wonderful time. The owner was amazing. He was flexible during bad weather. They use plant base products. There was ample space inside and a beautiful backyard with privacy fencing. I would recommend this home and stay again.

This home has far exceed my expectations! Easily one of the best home away from home I've rented. The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Amazing home and Owner

The home is amazing exactly as described and shown in listing. What's not in the listing is how much more there is. It's the above and beyond and subtle touches that make this amazing home even better than what you see in the listing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay this is one I would highly recommend. Look forward to renting again when we return to watch ND win again.
