Golf Course Lake Almanor West Home w/ Hot Tub & Lake View!

This cabin is located on Lake Almanor West's Golf Course 3rd hole green with a beautiful pond and fountain right out the back deck! Also, while off the front deck you can view the beautiful Lake Almanor. The boat launch is less than a mile a way and so is the big recreation center with bocce ball, bbq's, children's playground, volleyball, basketball and more.

This two story home has vaulted ceilings, a gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar, open great room, fireplace, surround sound stereo system throughout the upstairs. There is a primary bedroom with a king bed on the main level and two other bedrooms on the lower level with queen beds. There is a full bathroom in the master with a half bath next to the kitchen and family room, and a full bath downstairs for the two queen bedrooms to share. Through one of the downstairs bedrooms you'll find a nice, relaxing hot tub with beautiful nature views.

Enjoy all the available outdoor sports such as tennis, golf, all lake sports with the boat launch close by. There's also fishing, hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and a full community rec center with volleyball, bocce ball, basketball and a playscape for the kids.

This is a great retreat for the family vacation with room for a large recreational vehicle including water and electrical plug-ins.

Come enjoy the relaxation of Lake Almanor West, with all the frills of the mountains and lakes, close to town, and all those extra amenities such as the lakefront recreational center, bike trails, and breath taking blue skies and clean babbling rivers and creeks.

Potential Pets:
Pets are subject to approval and require a non-refundable $300 pet fee. Also, MUST follow pet rules: No pets on the furniture. No pets on carpeted areas. Must take pet with you or crate them when you leave. Clean up poop. No not leave pet unattended outside. If your pet swims, completely wipe off before entering the home. Thank you for understanding.

*Exterior balcony cameras facing away from home.

*There is no A/C in the home which is common for the Almanor area. House could get hot in the evenings. We have fans on hand for you to use.

We had a great stay, the host was easy to reach and responded quickly when I had questions leading up to our stay. The place was very clean which we appreciated and the kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Overall we had a great experience.

Overall great. Only issue was doors were not locked when we got there, some food left out from the cleaners I think (drink and snack) and it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed.

We were all so pleased just by walking in the door, very relaxing and comfortable and clean! Both decks were pleasant. The back deck had the sound of the fountain all day, the back we had our morning coffee looking through the trees at the lake, which we loved! Thank you so much.

We had such a nice vacation at this beautiful home right on the fourth tee of the golf course in Lake Almanor West.The home was very well equipped, the owners are very accommodating and left all the things that we needed to cook our meals. The beds are super comfortable as was all of the furniture in the house. This is the perfect home to come to if you’re looking for a relaxing Lake Almanor vacation. We’ll be back!

Great stay in a beautiful house

This is the 4th or 5th time we've stayed here, and we love this location and the house. Everything is super clean, has a fully stocked kitchen and is close to swimming and boat launches. Sitting out on the deck with a glass of wine and watching the golfers come through is one of my favorite things to do. Beautiful location, and contact with the host is a breeze. Highly recommend!

Cabin in the Mountains

We were there during the PARK Fire and didn't get a chance to take in the outdoor sports and boating as much as we would have liked to. That said, 7 of us were at the cabin everyday for quite a bit of time. Before we left I messaged the property host or owner a few times about specifics of certain things (coffee pot:Keurig or grounds; barbeque:gas or charcoal) and didn't get an answer which ended up with me calling the main number VRBO listed as the owner. It wasn't. Cooking was our big thing and the kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, pots, dishes and silverware, ground coffee maker, baking tools and the best 15 inch cast iron pan I have ever used. Great Weber gas barbeque and dining table and chairs on the deck overlooking the golf course. The guys got to golf one day because of air quality. It was a 9-hole course, perfect for the rusty golfers, as they looked as they went by us women on the deck. Sleeps 8 but the pull-out couch was full of raisins and chips which we cleaned and vacuumed, as our grandson was sleeping there. He said it was comfortable, as were all the beds. I think we all slept great, using sleeping bags. Temperature was nice except for one day of 90 degree heat. We were out on the lake 2 days despite the smoke. Beaches were great and water quality was clear. Not sure where the fish hide. Best part....hooking up the boat and driving a 1/4 mile to launch that was so easy. Stay:7/26 to 8/3/24.

A Perfect Place for A Family Get Together

This home turned out to be exactly what we hoped it would be. It was beautiful, comfortable and it accommodated our family perfectly. (three couples, one baby and one dog). We enjoyed the two decks with views, a kitchen to prep meals, and comfortable furnishings. We spent our time playing golf, walking to the park, taking an outing on a patio boat near-by, and riding bikes on the Lake Almanor Recreation Trail. We would love to come again!!

Great home to stay in

The house had everything that you would need for a get away. Cozy and ideal for a family. Backyard faced the golf course and you see the pond and in the evenings you would see the deer and late at night you could see and hear the bats.

Creating Memories....

This property was pure joy. Our stay was very relaxing and we were able to create some amazing family memories. The owner of this property takes very well care of it and the neighborhood is very nice. There is a multitude of things you can do from golfing, fishing, hiking, biking, and and and....the list could go on for days. Beautiful

Beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. Clean, comfortable beds. We had my mother with us who is elderly, all the stairs were a bit difficult for her, as well as the beds being high off the ground. Beautiful place, but not necessarily toddler friendly. We had 3 small children with us, my youngest 1. Beautiful definitely would stay again when they’re older, or if just my hubby and I, or my girlfriends. Hubby golfed, very pleasant stay. Thank you.

Very nice stay despite a couple hitches

Great location that's not too far from Lassen and other beautiful areas. No direct access to the lake across the street, but quick drive. Beautiful hiking trails nearby too. Couple drawbacks should note. A lot of ants in kitchen so had to put all food in fridge to keep safe (though found spilled honey in cabinet with mounds of ants and cleaning that substantially reduced the ants). We had never seen that type of tiny ant at our home, but started to immediately upon our return home and they're still around a while later. Owner kindly offered that we could stay as long as we wanted New Year's day since no one on the books. However, owner rings the doorbell at 10:45am New Year's day saying that we need to leave because she needs to clean the house. She booked someone and forgot she told us we could stay (a couple of times), but was very apologetic when realized she forgot. Fortunately, we felt better than most New Year's days and hadn't planned to stay the day, so we packed quickly and departed. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful stay- everyone in our family really enjoyed it (my wife and I and 2 teenage daughters). Beautiful there when it snows!

We love to do gourmet cooking, so we have all the finest cooking equipment, knives and utensils. I have also quilted the bedspreads. We love a comfortable house for you to enjoy. Usually our guests ask return once they have stayed here once.
