3 bedrooms sleeps up to 10 people

This is a very large cottage. It is located on an EMS lane with a shared beach area. It does have a sand area and a small swim area for the young children. A larger area for the teens and adults at the end of the 90 foot pier. It is approximately 5 foot deep at this area. Enjoy sunning and fishing off the pier with easy access to the water. This is about 300 feet away from the cottage. This is not a lake front cottage. But just a short 2 minutes walk to beach and pier.

Bring your boat we have dock space.

The open kitchen, dinning, and living area will give way the the times you will be inside. The largest bedroom is 13x15 with two queen beds, dresser and tv. The second bedroom 11x13 has a queen bed, dresser and tv. Third bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and tv. All bed linens and 30 bath towels provided. See list of amenities.

The east 16x16 deck is located just outside the kitchen for easy access for the grill. This side also includes a covered area for hot days or maybe light rains to enjoy. A large yard Area with swings for the children is a shared area. The west deck is a great place to just sit and relax.

Lawn chairs and a fire pit/fire wood is provided for you. Some games are also provided for family enjoyment.

This has been a great place for family enjoyment. We hope your family will join us for a summer filled with fun!

Barbee Rentals

We had a great little mini vacation here, we stayed the weekend for daughter’s graduation from Grace College. The place is quite lovely near the lake enjoyed the outdoor patio area and the fire pit making s’mores with the kids highly recommend to come out and visit BarbeeRentals

Great weekend

The house was perfect for our quick getaway weekend. The neighbors are all very friendly and Kathy, the owner, is very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this property

Fantastic getaway, highly recommend it!

We had a great stay at this cute cottage with adorable personal decor touches. It had a spacious, comfortable layout and was stocked with everything you need. The outdoor space was so inviting. The owner, Kathy, is wonderful and really thought of everything. She was incredibly attentive and kind. We highly recommend staying at "The Bunkhouse" or any of Kathy's other cottages.

Great little get-a-way

My husband and I rented this home for a long weekend get-a-way (with our dog). It had everything you could need, well stocked kitchen, LOTS of TV channels, nice beds, etc. The owner was super responsive to all messages (even before booking) and was very helpful once we got there. She even left us a few snacks. I think later in the spring/Summer would be a great place to visit so you could utilize the lake activities more (which is not what we wanted to do).

Nice cozy place to stay with your family

Kathy was a wonderful host. She contacted us to see when we would be arriving and when she learned that we would be arriving very last in the evening offered to have some breakfast food and coffee in the cottage for us. That was a very nice in the morning when we woke. House is comfortable and had plenty of space for my family. We were in town for a family wedding so we didn't get to spend any time at the lake. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we would stay there again.

Dear Jayne, So glad your accommodations worked for your family. I was told someone played the violin. I was so sorry I couldn’t be there. I would have asked for a performance. You see when my daughter was married we had a violinist play at her wedding. I love the violin. So I have bought my Granddaughter one so she can start lessons. I couldn’t imagine the long hours of travel you and your family had that day. So really having something for breakfast was minor for me. We would love to have you come back and enjoy the lakes.

Cute, spacious house with everything you would need for a seamless getaway. Kathy is the best and has really thought of every detail. Outdoor Cabana with zippered walls so that you can enjoy your time outside without getting wet in the event of rain. Stocked kitchen with everything you would need including spices. A fire pit with fire roasting sticks completes the backyard. Convenient wagon provided to bring sand toys, pool noodles, and your towels to the beach. Paddle board included free of charge! We would definitely stay here again.

Family Gathering

This property was so perfect for our intentions! Kathy met is there, and she is a total delight to work with. We rent houses often, and this is the first time I have been so content I didn’t leave the property at all during our visit! The home was so well equipped that preparing meals was easy! We spent most of the time outside - on the lovely deck, in the yard playing with our granddaughters (lawn bowling, swings, and blow up pool), on the beach, and even roasting marshmallows! None of us wanted to go home! Thank you so much, Kathy, for a remarkable get-away! We sure hope to come back and stay longer next time!

Great family vacation at the lake

Kathy was great - available whenever we had a question, showed us around the property and amenities. The cottage fit the 10 of us - we mostly ate out on the patio to fit as a group. The dock space was perfect for our rented boats and we found many places to anchor and float. Kids did a little fishing off the dock. House had everything we needed to be comfortable, prepare meals, and enjoy ourselves!

Great Get-away

Kathy was an excellent host! The property was clean and close to the lake. One downside: The sandbar was covered in seaweed and dirty so we just jumped on the pier and floated near the dock.

Sorry about that we try to keep the weeds down and cleaned up. When the weeds are sprayed they wash up way to fast. Thank you I will work harder on that

Very nice place.

Very nice and spacious property within a short walking distance to the lake.. The property manager, Kathy, is extremely friendly and helpful. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Family Trip

We will definitely be returning, Kathy had everything we could think of available For our use. The children as well as the adults had a great time. Kid pool, kayak, boats, sand toys, Floats & life vest. She was very kind and friendly to everyone. And was very helpful and knowledgeable with the area and where to go.

Peaceful getaway

We enjoyed a Sunday-Thursday stay. Almost had the lake to ourselves. Kathy provided our kids with paddleboards that they thoroughly enjoyed. Would come again.

Nicest property in the neighborhood by far. The Wi-Fi was down during our stay.

I grew up on this lake. My grandparents owened this cottage from 1958 to the late 70's. I was so happy to get this cottage back into the family in 2002. My grandparents owened 27 cottages at one time and rented them weekly. I learned alot from them and hope your stay will be comfortable and a relaxing vacation.
