This South Padre Island vacation condo was completely remodeled in 2015. Enjoy beautiful new tile floors, mirrored walls and rattan furnishings. With a beautiful interior, stunning views, and easy beach access, closest to the water, Florence is truly the setting for your fantasy vacation.

Living Room
The living room features new tile floors, beautiful area rugs, and cushioned rattan furniture that exudes casual elegances. Look out the wall to wall expansive windows onto the Gulf or step onto the balcony for a closer look of the beach and the waves. When the sun goes down, turn on the 50-inch flat panel LCD TV and DVD player.

Dining
Elegant dining features tile floors and Rattan furnishings for six. Enjoy the ocean view while enjoying the meals.

Kitchen
The fully-equipped kitchen features a smooth top stove, full size refrigerator with ice maker, toaster oven, glass blender, coffee maker, electric can opener, electric mixer, and non-stick pots and pans. The kitchen is open to the living room, and also to a dining area that features chairs for six.

Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has a king size bed with a beautiful, comfortable, brand-new plush mattress. The decorations are truly tropical. This room also features a 42-inch flat panel LCD TV and DVD player, closet and private bath.

Second Bedroom
The second bedroom features two queen size beds. Luxurious comfortor and 650 TC linens to create a festive retreat. This room features and 46-inch TV and DVD player, closet and Private Bath.

Additional Sleeping Areas
The couch in the living room pulls out into a queen-size sleeper bed.

A huge patio spans the front of the vacation condo, offering ample space to enjoy the gulf breezes and spectacular ocean views. Not even sure where to start- cockroaches are still there in numbers and they roam even before lights out. I sent a video to the rep soon after we got in and I noticed roaches of all sizes. The handles of drawers, doors and cabinets are broken and need attention. The drain in the bathroom where the washers are is so slow one stands in their pool when taking a shower. The furniture pictured in the property details is not the furniture in the condo- the couch was dirty we had to cover it with a sheet before using it. We had no wifi the entire time and despite communicating it and being promised a 60 refund for the lack of service, I have not been refunded and the mgr dues not pick up the phone. I reported this to Vrbo and they say they are waiting for the mgr to respond.

Great location, with a few nits.

Great location, beach access. Sunrise view over the gulf. Elevator and luggage carts made move in and out easy. Balcony and pool are shaded in hot afternoons. Microwave and disposal not working so kitchen was less useful than expected.

Great location.....needs some attention

There were things that we broken that should of been fixed before it was rented out. Trouble locking the front door and the sliding glass door to balcony took two of us to close. The kitchen was lacking Wine glasses which was sad. But when I called about my concerns they were very nice and did what they could to take care of some of the items. The online listing needs to be updated since there is no icemaker and there were no beach chairs but they did bring some later.

Family SPI Vacation

This was our family's second vacation to South Padre Island and we were not disappointed. Florence II #302 was beautiful and the listing was 100% accurate. The furnishings were comfortable and the finishings were nicely updated. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out during our stay. The building is conveniently located within walking distance to shops and restaurants and has direct beach access! Each condo has an assigned parking space in the garage, so we never had to search for a space. The unit itself is ocean front which guarantees breathtaking views from the balcony! The unit is well equipped with everything a family needs for a beach vacation, including boogie boards and beach chairs! The dishwasher, as well as the in-unit washer and dryer, were definitely useful and appreciated. The property manager was friendly and extremely helpful during our stay. Late in the afternoon on our second day, the unit's air conditioner was not cooling properly. Criss went above and beyond, working after business hours to ensure a technician was available to fix it the next morning! We will definitely be returning to Florence II #302 in the future. It was the perfect place to truly relax and unwind while on vacation!

Long weekend getaway

Absolutely STUNNING ocean front view just step from the beach. Layout is nice ..updates very beachy, nicely equipped kitchen, cute decor and furniture comfy. But your cleaning crew should be fired not doing your place justice. THICK dust on baseboards and top of the refrigerator shower tile very grungy as well as shower tracks. All this unit needs is a deep clean and then a cleaning crew that maintains that level of clean. It should smell CLEAN when guests open the door. This is the only thing holding this unit back from being a million dollar property.

I liked the beachfront balcony. Beds were comfortable.Picture shown of condo was not the same that we stayed in. Living room fan and light didn't work. TV didn't work. We called and they said they were coming to reprogram and we missed hours of beach time waiting for them because they said someone would have to be in condo. 2nd bedroom bath was unclean. Pulled hair, bobby pin and razor cover out of drain... dishwasher was filthy. Couldn't get lights in condo to work until we called and found out that you had to use remotes to control...were not advised of it in the lengthy instructions on line.We were only going to be there 2 days and my daughter flew from California and one drove from Houston to spend with 81 yr. old mother. We spent time dealing with things that were not proper for a rental...They should refund at least one days rental!

First stay, South Padre!

Felt good just to see the ocean again after 18 years. Condo's where easy to find and parking marked for all Condo's. Ours was in garage that was a little tight, but managed just fine. Went to unit and code did not work to unlock door. Called Criss, the host and she got us right in over the phone. The condo has all you need to cook with and was clean. Beach access was easy and pool and spa were both heated. Only thing really think the unit needed was to have the couch and love seat cleaned. Master mattress was way to firm for us, we are use to a thick pillow top. The Queens were nice. Over all it was a great get away and condo was like a home away from home. Nice view of ocean and a very peaceful time away from home. We enjoyed the whole getaway.

Great beach access and view! Enjoyed building sand castles, boogie boarding and beach volleyball! Wanna Wanna bar and grill is a short walk on the beach for volleyball, music and drinks. The complex was very family friendly and safe. Great vacation with the family!

Affordable luxury. That is how it was described.

This was the dirtiest condo I have ever rented. The pictures they show on VRBO must have been from the 70"s. The balcony had a spindle missing. A child could fall very easily. Porch light on balcony had exposed wires. No way to that could be up to code. Primary bedroom had a unidentified fungus growing in the shower tile. I could go on and on. If you want a nice condo don't rent room 302 at the Florence II South Padre island Texas . SPI is beautiful but your experience at this condo will put you in a bad mood. Save your$ 2500 and find a nicer place. We left 2 day's early. Beach was great at this condo.

Condo on the beach...

Located on the North end of the island. We had a balcony that looked towards the gulf. Very relaxing. The pool is shallow, so it's perfect for kids. Hot tub was nice at night. Pretty much normal wear and tear that you'd expect for a sea-side condo on a popular beach like SPI. All in all a pretty nice place in a nice area.

Memorial day with thousands !

First off, Criss was great! Very responsive and always available. The condo could’ve been a smidge cleaner and we had to get the air-conditioner filter replaced. Other than that we have a wonderful weekend. It is a 2/2 condo with each bedroom having attached bathrooms. Big screen TVs in each bedroom with cable and Roku. Third-floor unit with quick elevators. Large balcony right on the beach.
