Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops ā€“ including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques ā€“ as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Great stay, great place for a big group!

Location is very close to downtown, the next door buildings arenā€™t ideal but walk 5 minutes and you are where everything you need is! Itā€™s great for big groups with beds for everyone. We would recommend to a friend!

Needed potholders. Oven doesn't heat.Tried to use the oven to bake something. The oven never got hot enough. Had to throw out 20 worth of baking batter.Middle bath sink doesn't drain.Found ants in the refrigerator?Would be nice to have instructions to get local channels on the tv.Also a nice touch would be to provide kleenex.

Great location & quiet part of king street

Super close to the end of king street- clean, updated amentities and easy access to all that downtown charleston has to offer! definitely need to uber if heading more north of town, but overall a great stay. Easy to check in and out. Had issues with the water pressure but they sent someone out next day to fix! Super responsive when asking questions, too. Would stay here again!

Great house but filthy

The house is amazing but was dirty. The vents were filthy, the floors were filthy, the oven had not been cleaned nor had the bottom of the freezer been cleaned. I was promised a refund for the cleaning fee and was told it would take 8-10 days after I checked out to receive it. My stay was at the end of July, and I have yet to receive my refund. I will never stay with Your Pad ever again and neither will my 6 other guests. Very disappointing.

Great location and property

Property was very clean and spacious. Great location between Meeting and King St. Parking is extremely tight and like a puzzle if the back home is rented too however is expected in downtown Charleston. To have offstreet parking was such a huge plus. Construction in the area however price reflected that. We had a great time and would recommend!

Wonderful Stay

We had 6 wonderful days in Charleston at this home. It is well equipped and close to King Street where there are many restaurants and bars. David is a great host and very attentive to your needs.

Wedding in Charleston

The overall experience was great. The unit was clean & had everything we needed. There was a lot of construction going on so noise level was a problem. This however was not the fault of VRBO & hope this will be completed soon. All in all the location was within walking distance of several restaurants & was very convenient to our wedding venue.

Overall, we had a great stay. The host is responsive and the pictures are accurate to the space. The building is older and after talking to a few locals, mold is very common in these older houses if the building wasnā€™t gutted when remodeling. Mold was coming out of every vent upstairs. I felt bad as the person who booked this VRBO because I had guests who were pregnant, had cardiac conditions, autoimmune diseases, etc that could be affected staying in a place with mold more so than a healthy individual. As stated in the listing, there is a lot of construction going on around the property. When it is all done, the area will be beautiful, but right now it is a little sketchy. The construction crew did make noise at early as 5:30-6:00 am on Friday morning, but was quiet during early hours on the weekends. The location is nice because it is very walkable to King St. and other popular areas. The check in/check out process was really easy compared to other places I have stayed in the past and overall had a good stay. I was asked to leave any constructive criticism in the private feedback section of the VRBO, but I feel it is important for someone to know these things before booking.

Charleston Celebration

The property owners were great and prompt in replying! Nice to have off-street parking, but it was a bit tight and challenging to navigate two cars in and out with the other two cars of the guests staying in the house behind this one. The rooms were big, the beds were comfortable, and what a treat to have a bathroom for every bedroom.

Beautiful home and garden in quiet neighborhood

The home was incredibly cute and clean. We were there to watch my daughter row in NCAA championships so the location was ideal. Tons of great coffee shops, restaurants and bars nearby making it great for being a tourist. Check in and out was very easy and made the stay very low stress!

Amazing location and great interior!

This house is perfect for any large group visiting Charleston, especially if youā€™re wanting to be close to King Street! We had a group of 10 here for a bachelorette party and couldnā€™t have asked for a better location. The interior is also super cute and great for photos. Another plus was all of the bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Cutest place ever

This was a lovely home. 5 adults stayed for a few days and really enjoyed ourselves. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was phenomenal. We loved it. I recommend Charleston and also this house.

Lovely choice for a group!

The apartment perfectly matches the description. The number of bedrooms and private bathrooms is great for a bigger group, the kitchen was well-appointed, and the location was very convenient to plenty of restaurants and bars. The property manager was extremely communicative and helpful. All in all a great stay!

Location was great. We could walk to most every place we wanted to go. The house was clean and well stocked for us. There is lots of room in this adorable house. We also had off street private parking which is a definite plus. The host was extremely nice and stayed in touch with us in case we needed anything.
