Cozy Cabin with private HOT TUB!

Enjoy your holiday in this cozy cabin at the top of Wintergreen. It will have plenty of room for your party with three bedrooms and a loft. It is close to the slopes, trails, golf and other amenities. You can enjoy your meals with the well appointed kitchen and propane grill on the deck. Everyone will love the rustic bathroom with tin tub, or the European style rain shower in the master bathroom. After an exciting day in the outdoors, enjoy a soak in the private hot tub on the deck.

Hiking is a short walk with access to the Appalachian trail. The Wintergreen mountain village is a short one mile drive down the mountain. There are fun activities all year round. See the Wintergreen Property Owners association for an excellent guide to the area: https://www.wtgpoa.org/rodes-farm.

Wonderful experience! Cozy, clean and comfortable. Beautiful views and great access to hiking! We loved the fireplace and the hot tub, too. Would 10 out of 10 recommend and we plan to return!

We had a great snowy winter stay. Had everything we needed! Watched a meteor shower from the hot tub, couldn't ask for more! Plenty of kitchen items, towels, etc--we wanted for nothing. Thanks for having us!

The hot tub was excellent! So beautiful to sit in it and just look at nature. The cabin was very spacious. It was always a delight to talk to the hosts. Our dog had the best time of her life! Would highly recommend.

Perfect cabin for a vacation. Quiet area. We enjoyed the hot tub. It is also very close to numerous hikes including AT. Great spot to spend the day hiking and the evening relaxing. Only 20 mins into Nellysford to great eats like Belties Breakfast and Three Notch'd Brewing

Great stay! If you’re looking in this area, this is the place. Conveniently located and charming. Amazingly stocked kitchen. Hot tub was perfect! We were able to walk to Devils Knob lookout which was breathtaking. The local store is so close and well stocked and even makes pizzas to order. The host was attentive and check in was flawless. We definitely recommend. Thanks for sharing your home. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway like our anniversary trip and also well set up for a family trip.

Great weekend stay

Adult girls weekend visiting local wineries, Breweries, and, of course, Bold Rock Cidery. Great location. Beautiful mountain views on the way up to the cabin. The hot tub was perfect for evening relaxation. Plenty of room, and well-appointed kitchen.

We loved our stay here! The perfect spot for a quiet get away. Beautiful overlooks to sit & enjoy. We are most grateful that we were able to bring our boys (dogs) with us on the quick getaway. Check in & out was super easy. Maria & Christopher were super quick in response anytime we needed something during our stay.

Great place for a nice moutain experience

Very nice spot for a moutain trip. Wintergreen was great. Skiing one day, sleding the next. Enjoyed the hot tub and the cozy home with everything we needed for our family getaway. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Wonderful place for a girls trip!

We stayed here for our friend birthday and had an amazing time. The property was clean and they owners were so easy to get in touch with! We really enjoyed the hot tub and loved playing the games in the cabinet! It is located close to so many vineyards. We will definitely be returning!

Mountain weekend getaway

We loved our stay! The property was even better than what we expected based on the listing. The kitchen was well stocked, the cabin quaint and clean with beautiful outdoor spaces and views. They had firewood for the fireplace and hitch really completed the ambiance. Communication with the hosts was easy and prompt and the location was perfect! We can’t wait to return.

Cute and Cozy Cabin

A delightful weekend stay. Everything was neat and tidy. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and utensils. We did not use the loft. Owner working on some needed repairs/upgrades. Overall a pleasant stay. Hot tub worked perfectly. BBQ took a while to heat up. Near The Nature Center which the kids loved. Would stay again.

Relaxing visit

The property was relaxing and enjoyable. Took advantage of the hot tub which was in great condition. Jetson tub work wonderfully. Rustic with a modern updated master bathroom. Owners were very friendly and easy to get in touch with. And very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Great Mountain Cabin

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was a great place to relax in and my kids loved the look and the hot tub. It was a perfect jumping off place for the Shenandoah National Park and there were a lot of apple cider breweries and other places to see nearby. The kids were a little disappointed that they did not see any bears but they had a great time! The only other thing was the drive up is not for the faint of heart when the clouds/fog rolls in as it was a steep drive and visibility was low.

Just what we needed

We used this home as "overflow bedspace" for a second house we rented at the same time (5 people here, 14 at the other house), and we spent most of our time at the other place. But this home was as advertised. The bed in the loft is a vertical climb, so be aware of that before assigning it to someone with vertigo, LOL. The fridge is fantastic; we used it to supplement the ice at the *other* house, since we were making so many cocktails, yay! It's a little dark inside, but hey, it's a log cabin in the woods. It's supposed to be a little dark. I was able to charge my electric car from an outlet on the front porch, so that was a bonus, too. Wifi was solid, water was hot, my sisters watched a movie or two on the TV and used the hot tub. Take my five stars! :-D
