The host was very responsive and helpful when we experienced a flight delay that pushed our check-in time back…even in the middle of the night. The kitchen was very well stocked and even had plastic sandwich baggies. The living room was comfortable as well as the bedrooms. Having two bathrooms was key for our teenagers and the property was decorated so cute!

Quaint 3 bedroom house

We stayed 2 nights in this quaint house. It was very clean and met our needs. We were also able to bring our dog and they had a small fenced backyard which worked good.

Great place to stay

The location is close to I-275 and downtown. The place was clean, nicely decorated and furnished, and had a lot of nice touches, like easily accessible USB ports for charging devices in basically every room. It was comfortable and had everything that we needed. The only drawback is the small driveway next to the house isn't great if you have a car that sits low to the ground. Street parking was generally available but maybe not right in front of the house. Overall, we would stay again if we needed a place and we would recommend to others.

Comfortable

This property looked just like photos there were only small minor details that were different, we had to deal with a few bugs but in Florida what else can you expect, Dallas was great with communication during the check in process, and the house is ten minutes away from a lot of fun :)

Birthday celebration gone very wrong

0/10 recommend staying here. First off, friends and I booked this for our friend’s 30th birthday weekend celebration. Besides immediately having to kill 2 huge mosquitos on the walls upon walking in, everything else was fine at check in. There’s mention of a “driveway” on the right side of the property but it’s literally a narrow path of cracked concrete facing upwards - street parking is the way to go. The others arrived and the first night was smooth. We woke up the next morning and all started working remotely as planned. After a busy morning, I went out to the living room and was told by one of our friends “um so there’s a problem, there are fleas here”. I’ve never experienced fleas and am typing this review with hopes that other renters do not have to endure what we went through. I contacted the host and at first she was like “OMG this is disappointing!” and I sent her 4 videos and 3 photos showing the very obvious flea problem. Unfortunately 2 guests woke up with multiple bug bites on their legs (not sure what exact bug bit them but it was something we wanted to note). After a few texts/calls with the owner, we both mutually agreed that we would be refunded completely and would pack up and leave that afternoon so pest control and a cleaning service could come clean/spray the rental. However, the refund is nowhere to be seen and we are waiting for a health and safety investigation on the property to wrap up with hopes of getting our 700 back after only staying 1 night.

Cute property - really wanted to love it

The property is super cute. I saw comments saying the neighborhood isn't safe but I didn't get that feeling. It's an older neighborhood full of families. The place is super cute but we struggled so much. There were ants in the kitchen so we couldn't keep anything on the counter and perhaps that is because one cabinet marked "do not use" has major damage and is falling apart. The water pressure in the shower is not great and stepping on the pebble ground in the shower is not comfortable. The exterior flood lights stay on all night long so it makes it so difficult to sleep. The mattresses are very old and not comfortable to sleep on sadly. The front steps into the house are very steep and there is no railing so with a toddler, that's a bit concerning. The listing says there is a hot tub but there isn't - not that it's important but the listing wasn't accurate. The "wood" floors are a mess - they are coming up in so many places, wood feels very soft when you step on different spots and the unevenness, if you aren't careful, is a tripping hazard. The pictures up are clearly old because the furniture isn't in that great condition. Everything was doable and passable in mind but wasn't exactly what we expected based on the listing. I will say parking is easy. Always street parking right in front. The room with the double beds is full of kids toys so that's great. Again the place is super cute, I think it just needs some extra TLC

Awesome place and awesome host!

Dallas was amazing we stayed here for hurricane Ian and she was so accommodating!! Even let me bring all my fir babies with me. The house was nice and super sturdy you couldn’t even tell there was a storm outside unless you looked out the windows.. I feel like the garage isn’t talked about enough super cute man cave. Makes for a great hang out outside. It is air conditioned and there are a few couches and chairs as well as a wine fridge and the perfect table for playing cards. I would totally recommend this to anyone!!

Very clean but...

I hate to make this review but there are a few things I think should be noted that I did not previously read in the reviews. Pros: - This home is very clean, I could walk barefoot and did not feel gross. - There are many rooms available to sleep, so if you need to accommodate people its a good size. - It's nice to have a washer and dryer accessible. - TV in the rooms, especially with children. - They offer games and that was helpful with having a kid. Cons: - The water pressure in the shower is extremely low, its uncomfortably low. There's no quick shower. - The couches do not have cushions to the size of the couch, so you cant sit back comfortably. There are tears in the couch and it looks worn. The couches are also further from the TV, so hanging out and watching a movie is not comfortable to do. - The house is pictured nicely but it is old, windows are rusted. - The neighborhood is less than "gentrified." As a tourist who is not familiar with the area or city, I was not comfortable. I packed my valuables every time I would leave the home. While the owner may know the community this is not a comfortable setting as a tourist. My husband and I like to go for runs and this was not a neighborhood to comfortable run in, feeling safe. - With that said, some sort of alarm system would be appreciated. - The back door was uncomfortable to lock and did not always feel fully secure. This was kind of concerning giving we were concerned with neighborhood. - The parking spot that is supposed to be available is not available. The owner said we can move the neighbors trashcans so we can park in the space. I dont know the neighbor to move their trashcans. With the concern for the neighborhood and not having a space to park our car, this was bothersome. I personally would not come back to this rental. I would've appreciated knowing the above listed cons bc it would've changed my selection. I wish them success but I think there should be a little more honesty and "what to expect" in the listing, especially for tourists.

SMF 2022 STAY ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Dallas was beyond the best host I have every encountered! When we walked into her bungalow our group was so amazed at how clean and beautiful the place was! Every necessity you could need from bathroom items (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers, REALLY COOL toilet (loved the BIDET), hair dryer, enough toilet paper) to kitchen supplies (extra paper towels, dish washer pods, every pan under the sub) and even the patio had everything (lovely outdoor seating, a garage space with a couch to hangout and enjoy the Tamp heat, an outdoor grill that we utilized!) The bathroom was super nice and it was really cool to have a shower that didn’t have a door (NEW EXPERIENCE FOR ALL OF US AND WE LOVED IT) . Everything was perfect and made our experience absolutely wonderful! To my ravers/EDM lovers who go to Sunset Music Festival… This was an amazing place to stay for a reasonable price for my group of 6 (ONLY 7 MINS FROM THE RAYMOND JAMES STADIUM especially if you uber or even decide to drive). If we ever had questions or concerns Dallas was more than helpful to give us suggestions to find a solution! Also! It was a convenient spot for both the stadium and going to Ybor city to hit some of the bars/ Ritz Ybor Venue for shows/concerts. Dallas thank you for providing every need my group required! I go to this festival every year and hope to stay here again! Shoutout to Dallas!! My group LOVES YOU and we will never forget the memories we made!

Tampa vacation

We were in town for our grandson’s graduation from University of Tampa. The bungalow is centrally located to all the fun activities Tampa has to offer. The bungalow is beautifully decorated. We were very happy there.

Incredible Wedding Weekend Bridal Party Home

This cute home was perfect for the weekend of our wedding! We live in Tampa and know the areas well; this West Tampa location is close to everything - downtown, Hyde Park, Westshore/Midtown, and the Stadium. The home is nicely decorated, clean, and spacious. I stayed here with my mom, younger brother, and bridal party - we all loved it; the outdoor space was great too.

Beware of electrical problems

Spent one night there. Next day there was an issue with the breaker box. No electricity. Didn’t really worry thinking we would be placed somewhere else. Nothing was available for a couple of days. We left and went home. The house was cute and the host was nice, but the situation was just bad since we were traveling with a dog. Also the area was a little more run down than I had anticipated. Would not have wanted to walk the neighborhood by myself.

This house is so cute, so comfortable, and just perfect in every way!! We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. It’s so close to so many fun things, fun places to eat, and new experiences. The host is amazing and very responsive. We didn’t want to leave!! Our week there was just perfect!

Beautiful house with wonderful hosts!

House was very cute and quaint upon arriving at the property. Inside was very clean and much bigger than expected. We had a hiccup with the WiFi over the weekend but the owners were very quick to respond and resolve any issues we had. Restaurants and stores were all within a 10 minute drive. Pet friendly as well at an affordable rate (which is always hard to find 🐾). I will definitely be back and recommend this home away from home to friends!
