Charming Orchard Cottage…Pet Friendly!!

Located in the Northern California town of Chico, nestled in a walnut orchard, The Chandler Orchard Cottage is a pet friendly 600 sq/ft private studio space that is sure to please.

The cottage offers WIFI access and a 42” Roku TV with streaming capabilities of your favorite entertainment apps.

Detached and private from our main farmhouse, the orchard cottage features its own full kitchen and bathroom. The recently remodeled bathroom has a large shower surrounded by fresh subway tile, a marble topped vanity and a farmhouse style bathroom sink.

The kitchen is stocked with all that you need to prepare meals and includes a refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, a gas range with oven below, a microwave, large sink, a toaster and Keurig with coffee pods . The cottage kitchen has newly painted cabinets, country backsplash tile and butcher block counters.

The cottage has a queen size bed with brand new Lucid brand memory foam mattress and a pull-out queen size sleeper sofa. Please note this is a studio space with no bedrooms. We are happy to prep the sofa bed with enough advanced notice. Sheets and bedding are stocked in closet.

A Pack N' Play with sheet is also in closet.

Air conditioning, ceiling fans and all day shade provided by grand old trees keep this cottage cool during summer months.

French doors open to a shady patio surrounded by seasonal orange trees with views into our Chandler walnut orchard.

Country vibes with close proximity to downtown Chico, CSU Chico, groceries, and the Sacramento River.

Pet friendly. Please mention pet prior to arrival. A $35 pet fee per booking (not per pet) required. Max of 4 well behaved pets. Guests are asked not to leave pets unaccompanied for long periods in the cottage.

Our cottage is located in a walnut orchard. Throughout the year there is minimal activity in the orchard and we generally work around our cottage bookings but you may see or hear mowing, irrigation, trimming durning business hours. Harvest season is in October. Please be advised that we may be harvesting during an October stay. We do our best to work around our guests schedule but harvest is time sensitive and weather dependent.
