Thônes, is an inescapable city between lake & mountains, it is a unique territory which is offered to you. It is an epicenter between the resorts of La Clusaz 13 km, Le Grand-Bornand 13 km, Manigod La Croix-Fry 12 km and the majestic Lake Annecy 14 km.
Chamonix Mont Blanc is 87km away (Aiguille du Midi, Montenvers train, Mer de Glace, Vallée Blanche…)
Geneva and Lake Geneva is 58 km away.

In winter, you can practice many activities: downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking, mountaineering, paragliders, snowshoeing, tobogganing, paret (traditional luge) and many others.

In spring, summer and autumn, you can also practice very beautiful activities: varied hikes that are aimed as much at families as at the bitten in elevation. Lake Annecy is only 14km away, easily accessible by car, bicycle or bus, without traffic jams from Thônes.

For cyclists, Thônes is the base camp to access the most beautiful passes where the Etape du Tour and Tour de France climbed them in 2018 (Col de la Colombière, Col de la Croix Fry, Col des Aravis,, Plateaux des Glières) and of course the tour of Lake Annecy with its cycle path all along.
