Surrounded by horse farms, the Carriage House is only minutes from The Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, Fasig-Tipton, downtown Lexington, UK, Red Mile, Rupp Arena, renowned dining, shopping and more! Styling throughout the home is clean, modern and minimal. The interior is equipped with everything you would expect from a 5-star family home. Here, an eclectic mix of comfortable furnishings invites you to a cozy evening of family games, or a nice nap after a great day exploring Central Kentucky, enjoying a day at the Keeneland racetrack, working a day at the horse sales at Fasig-Tipton or Keeneland, or visiting our many world renowned bourbon distilleries and local wineries. We provide two flat screen TVs, WiFi, high ceilings with exposed wood beams, central A/C and heat, comfy King bed, queen sofa bed, beautiful garden, playground area if needed, Kuerig & Nespresso coffee machines, full size washer and dryer, all the essential dining ware, linens, towels, etc., gourmet kitchen with marble countertops, stainless appliances and bar with seating, full bathroom with tiled shower. Unique and Beautiful Carriage House

This is a unique, clean, comfortable, cozy, and beautifully decorated carriage house. It was the perfect home base for our trip to Kentucky!

Private and thoughtful

Lovely property, particularly the back garden. As a single female traveler it was honestly nice to be close to the house - and they've put real thought into ensuring privacy for guests, including shrubbery and a patio area on the back that is just for the carriage house, with an outdoor table and chairs, gets the morning light and overlooks the formal garden. Ordered delivery one night for dinner, no issue getting it at the carriage house. The details included were just phenomenal, significantly better than I thought might be the case from photos online. A lovely living room area, quite spacious with two chairs and a large couch; smashing kitchen/dining area, can sit at the counter of a table; any cooking utensil you might need (more than I own in my literal kitchen, including espresso), a decent selection of spices etc. I cooked the first night, and it was very easy and well equipped. Extras such as sodas and snacks, detergent for the washer/dryer, drying racks. The decor was also lovely. Very comfortable couch and bed, quality bedding and lots of towels etc. Bathroom was extremely clean, full selection of shampoo etc, wonderful shower. If I lived closer I would book there regularly, just to enjoy it. Like staying at a friend's guesthouse more than a b&b. It was a wonderful trip, Kitty, thank you.

Perfect Getaway

I love visiting the Lexington area and the Carriage House was just what I was looking for, for a weekend getaway. It was beautiful and exactly as protrayed on VRBO.

Carriage house in Lexington

It was such a wonderful stay. The carriage house is beautiful and just as nice as pictured. It’s a great location to get to the Kentucky Horse Park. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed and linens are super comfy. There are toiletries in the bathroom in case you might have forgotten anything. Kitty the host is so wonderful. She welcomed me and made me feel like family. She is available for any questions you might have and checks in to make sure you have everything you need. I would and am staying there again. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Carriage House - A gem!

I stayed at the Carriage House for 28 days during months of December and January. I highly recommend this place. Host, Meredith and her mother, Kitty could not do enough to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They responded to questions I had in a timely manner. They were attentive and readily available if needed but not intrusive. I appreciated the privacy and respect I received. The place is beautiful! It sits on a beautiful piece of property at the start of horse country yet close to stores, freeway, downtown Lexington and the Bluegrass Airport. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is generously appointed. The shower is great. The bed is super comfortable-the best! I plan to return for a future stay because there is no need to shop around. I found a gem of a place to stay.

Wonderful, Charming Carriage House

We stayed here for a few nights while visiting our daughter. Host was more than accommodating and helpful with any question. The carriage house is beautifully decorated and well equipped for all your needs. Outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee or tea. Bed was super comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for anything better! Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Get away

This was a great place to stay. We wanted to have a cute cottage like place and near horse riding and a spa. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. Very charming place!

Cozy Carriage House

If you want to have a lovely place to stay in Lexington this is it! The location is convenient and surrounded by the beauty that only the Kentucky bluegrass area can offer. The carriage house was beautifully thought out and decorated with unique touches such as a mural painting of a horse farm/barn. The bedding was extremely comfortable. Loved the back door view of a beautiful backyard with horse stables beyond the fence. The homeowner, Meredith, was excellent to work with and she was always reaching out to make sure our needs were met. If you love Lexington and the beautiful surrounding areas of bluegrass country, you will certainly not want to miss the opportunity to stay in this carriage house Vrbo!

Cosy Carriage house

We loved staying in this carriage house and would definitely recommend this space to anyone visiting Lexington. The house was just as described in the listing, very well decorated and extremely comfortable bed. The house is well stocked with a lot of little touches to make your stay comfortable. The host has excellent communication and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We hope the next time we are in Lexington, this house is available.

Very clean and comfortable

This was probably the most comfortable (especially the bed) and clean VRBO we have ever stayed at. The area is also very nice and is in close driving distance to the downtown area. The host was super friendly as well. We will definitely try and book again if in the area!!

Perfect

My husband and I are new to Kentucky and have been exploring our new home state and all it has to offer. Meredith was an awesome host and the property and Carriage House were top notch. Close to downtown Lexington, we enjoyed the excitement of a UK show of support by fans going to a game at Rupp. We toured Keeneland and watched the horse sale that is world famous. Restaurants were phenomenal. We were close to everything. We drove through Versailles which is 30 min away and the beautiful stables did not disappoint. Thank you for a great stay and we will be back in the spring for the races.
