Our stay in this Gilbert property during the month of March was very nice. Henry was available to us 24/7 if we needed anything - we did not have to call him at all. The house is very bright, spacious and very family friendly with the large bedrooms upstairs. The central location of the home makes it very convenient to get to the local attractions, restaurants, and super markets.

My wife, son, and I wondered why this property had not had any reviews for over a year but we decided to rent it anyhow based on the previous 5 star ratings. Our stay was just under 5 weeks so I feel more than qualified to share my thoughts. Upon first walking through the front door I noticed that the walls were marked up and badly scuffed and that the carpet was filthy. We contacted the owner a few days later and requested that the carpeting be cleaned and he told us it had been just before our arrival. This was not the case. We vacuumed the entire house and had to empty the canister twice because it was full of dirt. The supplied toiletries were the ones you get free from hotels and were in very limited supply. The towels were cheap and many were falling apart.The cutlery in the kitchen was like something you could buy 10 for a dollar. The coffee maker was also very cheap as well as the toaster. In fact, the toaster was so small, you had to turn your bread around half way through the cycle in order to get it toasted on both ends. There are 2 TV's in the house, both the old CRT type and only basic cable was supplied. We contacted the owner and told him the small TV in the bedroom was not receiving some of the available channels and he told us he would look into it. Nothing was done. The temperature thermostat once had a lock box over it to prevent guests from adjusting temperatures in the home but was eventually removed probably because of too many complaints. This house in near a very busy road and early morning traffic noise could be bothersome. Also, there are railroad tracks in the area with 2 or 3 trains going by almost every night and blowing their horns when they pass a crossing. The outdoor gas grill is a beat up old BBQ. The pool is nice to look at but because it is not heated, you can probably forget about using it during winter months. Finally, we found several live crickets in the home during our stay.

It is unfortunate the guest felt this way regarding the property. Upon the arrival of the family, an adult family member repeatedly stated that the home was clean and that they liked the home. We were contacted on 3 different occasions: 1) Regarding the guest(s) challenges with the television remote, which was immediately addressed. 2) Regarding the circuit breaker, which within 30 minutes upon receiving the phone call was fully functioning. 3) Regarding the non-reception of one channel and the cable company was contacted immediately to resolve the issue. In the previous reviews of the home guests never stated any concerns regarding the thermostat, as they were able to adjust the temperature on their own. There were also no complaints regarding the neighborhood/streets being located in a high traffic area, as well as no complaints of noises from 2 or 3 trains passing through nightly blowing their horns. The home is located in Power Ranch Master Plan Community and there are no busy thoroughfares, the speed limit is 15 miles per hour. There are no train tracks in Power Ranch. From the guest’s review/statement, one could clearly conclude that the guest was subjective in his comments/statements. This is apparent by his assumption that a thermostat lock box was there and it was apparently removed because of complains. But one could see from all of the prior reviews none cited any issues. As to his comment regarding the pool there is no claim within the property’s description that the pool is heated. One can go on and respond to each of his statements in his review, however, it is counterproductive.

Power Ranch Stay

We had a six week stay here while we house hunted. Overall, given the Phoenix rental market, the price of this rental, and that it is dog friendly, it is an acceptable rental for an extended stay. We enjoyed the Power Ranch neighborhood with its walking paths. The house is roomy, adequately furnished, and the WiFi worked well. The pool looked very clean although we did not use it as this was a winter stay. The owner lives nearby and he checks on the pool and retrieves the mail weekly. I spoke with him on one occasion and he was pleasant and asked if things were okay. I replied that we appreciated finding a dog friendly rental. Based on his replies to other reviewers who mentioned maintenance or cleaning issues, I felt it was best to not mention these at the time. The property could use maintenance and cleaning. As an example, the screen slider to the pool side patio wouldn’t budge but then I realized the screen had a huge hole in it anyway. The Master bath shower faucet gives you a choice of extremely hot or cool. The faucet needs replaced. The house has three TVs but they are very old - no smart TVs here. At some point the entire inside was spray painted without any regard for cupboards, switches and carpeting so there are paint splatters everywhere which is a bit odd. The house gets a light cleaning between guests but it’s been awhile since corners have been cleaned. We found candy wrappers, a snack package and a water bottle in the living room sofa, a flip flop under the sofa, and a few tags and a receipt on an upstairs floor. Insides of cupboards and drawers are not cleaned between guests, but the refrigerator and baths appeared clean. The main floor has nice tile but it was very gritty. The only thing I saw at the property to use was an old mop so I purchased a swiffer to use. The first passes over the floor came up filthy. Neither of the two vacuums at the property worked (one did turn on but didn’t pull anything up) so I bought a vacuum to use. Every carpeted room filled the canister. Linens are very old but appeared clean and there were adequate linens to allow for changing and washing during the stay. Expect to do some cleaning but everything important in the house works and, overall, it was acceptable for an extended stay.

Great place to stay!

My family needed a place to stay for a month while we remodeled our home. This house had plenty of space for my family of 5!! Great neighborhood and location. The owner was always accessible and accommodation.

Perfect location for US!!

This was such a perfect location for my family to stay, during our visit in AZ. My husband's side of the family decided to get together and being 30+ members, we got together with my brother in law decided to rent this VRBO and it was perfect. Location was in the same subdivision as my sister in law. 5 min away couldn't get any better. Great place to just lay your head, weather was to cold for us to go swimming but would definitely re book if we go during summer:)

Great place for your family to stay

My family and I have stayed at this house 4 or 5 times now, and it is always my first choice when I travel to Gilbert/Phoenix area. The area is really nice. The house is clean and comfortable. There is a lot of space. My family has only had time to use the pools on a few of our stays, but it is always clean and sparkling. The master bedroom is pretty awesome.

Nice location near ASU Polytechnic campus

We enjoyed our stay here. Things overall were in reasonable condition. The location was great for us since we were in AZ to spend time with our son at ASU Polytechnic which is just a few miles away. I'd recommend it if you're looking for the location. Pros: - Plenty of space - Everything was in order and clean - Great to have the garage door opener with a rental car - Nice to have a pool Cons: - Rough, seemingly new, paint job makes the place feel a bit off - Master shower only ran very very hot water after the first couple days

Great Place for the Family

This is my family's third stay at this property. There is lots of space, it is clean and well kept, and my entire family feels comfortable there. The neighborhood is very nice, and it is only a few minutes away from from shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. The owner is very easy to deal with. In my opinion, this is a great property for a low-key family vacation - without having to spend your life savings on hotel rooms for everyone.

Very, very nice rental home.

Great house, good value, great location! We had a group of 4 golfers, and, during the week we played courses all over the Phoenix area. The house was everything you could ask for, Henry is a very nice and accommodating owner. I not only recommend this rental, but I would definitely stay here again.

Great location!

The Power Ranch community is very nice with lots of well groomed paths, lake and pool. It is also located close to major roads, restaurants and activities. The house is comfortable but in need of updating. The kitchen has most items needed for basic cooking but was lacking a hand mixer and workable can opener. There was a sufficient supply of plates, bowls, coffee mugs & silverware, but only 2 wine glasses, no small glasses for juice and not much for paper products. Henry was very easy to deal with and it was a pleasure working with him. All in all we had a wonderful stay in Arizona.

2nd Home

We spent 5 months in this home while we were having a new home built. It was a great space for our family as it met all our needs. The community is fantastic with great neighbors and amenities. The owner was awesome, always there whenever we needed anything - very flexible and accommodating. Great owner, great home. Highly recommended.

Dream Vacation

Six of us - my husband, his sister, brother, and their spouses, spent six enjoyable weeks in this home. As retirees, we travel a lot and we compare our experiences at various places. This one is one of our top rated places. Not only is this home spacious, but the whole house is very tastefully decorated. Clean and as described by the owner. It is close to various golf courses and trails. The heated community swimming pool was like a private pool to us as not too many people from the community take advantage of it during the winter months and one has to have a key to get into. The owner ensured we had access to all of the community facilities, from the tennis court to the basketball court. Without a doubt, I will reserve/rent it again.

Fabulous Home

We are a family of 8 and we all enjoyed our stay at this property/home. Not only was It clean, attractive, and comfortable, but It was also spacious. It was nicely furnished with fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and excellent Wi-Fi. It was exactly as presented. The surrounding parks and trials were phenomenal. The home is close enough to major shopping malls but far away from major traffic noise. We enjoyed the community amenities such as the heated pool. I could and will speak/state on behalf of my family, we had a delighted time. Not only will be stay there again, but I will also highly recommend it.

Lovely Place

My family – husband and 3 children - and I stayed here in September and found the home to be very comfortable and clean; it had all of the essential appliances needed, towels, soap, refrigerator, dishes, glasses etc. There are multiple parks/playgrounds within walking distance for families with young children. And not to mentioned trails for long walks. Although family with kids are living in the community, you cannot tell as the neighborhood is quiet. My parents who are senior citizens recommended it to us as they stayed there earlier in the year. The down fall, there are no public transportation in the area.

A magnificent home

This home is large, clean, and comfortable. The location was better than expected, with the malls and grocery stores not too far. Our 5 grand-kids loved staying with us and going for long walks in the Power Ranch Trails. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the amenities. The internet was perfect throughout the home. We had a lovely, quiet and peaceful time. All of us were so pleased to have found this fabulous vacation rental that, not only will we be back but we have no second thoughts in recommending it!!

Enjoyable

Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and we plan to come back with our families on future trips as there was that much room. The owner was very friendly and allowed us an early check-in as our arrival was early. This allowed us to get an early game golf and shopping. The home was neat, clean, and very inviting. One of the challenges, our cell phone did not work in certain parts of the home. It has all the amenities that you could ask for. Not only will be recommend it, but we will definitely be returning.

The perfect Vacation Home

The house has plenty of room, and was very comfortable for our family of 8. It has large closets in the bedrooms; the master bedroom is spacious; great floor plan layout - the living room is on the opposite side of the home, large living room space. Not only was the kitchen well equipped for your cooking needs - very clean and filled with everything we needed (and more!), but there were lots of linen for a great holiday. Wireless connection was strong, fast and free. The home/location seemed very safe/secured. Henry is very professional, accommodating, accessible and easy to deal with. From the moment we contacted him with our initial inquiry to the time we left the property we were well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the Phoenix area! We will recommend it for all ages

A Home Away From Home

We recently stayed at this beautiful home to host an overnight youth group sleepover. After an extensive search for a hotel suite to accomendate 12 girls and chaperones, we came across this home. It was well kept and spacious. The listing was accurate and what we saw online was exactly what the property looked like. The owner was always available to answer any questions we had. I plan to recommend this property to any of my family and friends who plan to visit the AZ area. This location made our youth group feel at home and was a key part in its success!

Family Vacation

My family and I recently returned from a family vacation in Gilbert. We decided to rent a house because there were seven of us. This was our first time renting a vacation house. It was great. The house was large enough to comfortably accomodate our family. The property was clean and well maintained. It is conveniently located near stores, parks, malls and various activies. I would recommend this property to friends and relatives.

we recently had our family to Phoenix for a wedding: 8 adults, one toddler. The house was spacious, clean and roomy. convenient to stores, nice neighborhood with a playground. Henry was available if we needed anything. Our main goal was to have family time and that was easily accomplished. Would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent Vacation Rental

We just got back from Gilber, Arizona we traved there for a wedding and decided to rent a home vs. a hotel. Much much better, we stayed there for 3 nights October 8-11 2010. It was seriously a great place an awesome neighborhood very new, nice clean and safe location. When we first got there we were amazed on how clean the house was and how spacious it also was. The rooms are simple and nice, the AC was great since it did get warm, the pool was awesome it's not heated but it sure does feel nice to get in. This home I will definately recommend the price was the best I found for the greatness of this home. I will come back here again. Henry was also very very helpful, we met him and him and his wife are very friendly. This place is highley recommened to family's up to 8 adults.
