Spring Break getaway

We had a great time in Scottsdale! The property was as pictured. Beds were very comfortable! The couch is pretty worn, but served us well enough. Only a few things missing that would be helpful...a rubber spatula, baking sheet and some pool floaties or kids life jackets. Otherwise they had pretty much everything we needed! Great stay!

Family Vacation

We stayed for a week. Our intent was to have a mini stay-cation at the house with the kiddos. It was a success. Our 9 year olds absolutely loved having the pool just steps out the patio door. (Get the pool heated). I could watch them while cooking, it was great. Any questions or issues we had were quickly addressed and taken care of. This was a huge house for just the 4 of us, I definitely got my steps in each day. Also, fabulous storage (closets / cabinets / nightstands) if you want to unpack everything. (Nice hangers in the closets, too.) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed my stay

Our stay here was very good, everybody enjoyed it. Kids liked the cards games that were there. No problems. My complaints would be that the hot water went out everywhere a few days before we left except in the master bath. The master bed had hair all in it so we had to wash the sheets and covers. And we paid $150 to heat the pool, said it was supposed to get to 80 something degrees but it still felt super cold not the house we had before. So that was a waste of money. Other then that things were great.

Great house and lots of room. It was just my wife and I but if you have a large group plenty of room. The hosts had everything you could need and a great welcome binder so you could find it. They contacted us after we settled in and let us know if we needed anything to contact them. The photos are 100% accurate what you see is what you get. We will definitely stay here again.

Thank you for taking a look at Suite Home Scottsdale! We fell in love with this mid-century modern Old Town gem and have had so much fun decking it out in every way to be the vacation dream house that we ourselves would want to stay in.

We love to explore all that Scottsdale has to offer and we are always finding new places to go and restaurants to frequent. We are wine aficionados and also love a good craft beer every now and then. In addition to all of the fabulous restaurants within minutes from our house, there are also some great local wineries and breweries that we have discovered here in Scottsdale, and we are happy to share our knowledge with our guests.

We sincerely hope you enjoy your stay in our Suite Home Scottsdale and that you, too, fall in love with Arizona as we have.

Por que o anfitriĆ£o escolheu essa propriedade

We love this property because of its proximity to all the excitement in Old Town, but in a more peaceful area to relax when out and about. We looked at so many homes for nearly 6 months and what we loved about this one was that the master bedroom/bath were an addition, so rather than just a cosmetic upgrade on a smaller space, like many of the homes we saw, this space was not only considerably larger, but more in line with the new construction that we appreciate. We are VERY picky, and we wanted to have a house in Old Town to enjoy for ourselves when we come there for our own getaways.

We also LOVE the backyard and quite honestly even the pictures don't do it justice. There is plenty of covered space for when it is hot and sunny, but also the whole yard seems to be centered around the beautiful pool and with the side yards and astroturf, it is designed for fun, sun, and games.

For example, many vacation rentals provide the very basic big box store brands of soap and shampoos. We took it a step further and ordered organic high end products from a hospitality company. We also asked a local coffee company to provide our guests specialty coffees, since we appreciate that. Many vacation rentals we have stayed at provided the basic 'Folgers' or generic coffee, and we had to purchase our own. We didn't want our guests to have to do that. Also, let's talk about the towels and bedding. Everyone we talked to said 'just buy the really cheap towels and sheets from Costco- they are fine'! However, we wanted spa quality, fluffy towels and soft sheets- so we searched until we found the quality we would want. The bottom line- we outfitted this house for ourselves- the most picky and discerning travelers- so this will be a huge upgrade to our guests who are used to getting the big box type of amenities when staying in a vacation rental home.
