Chillax Inn is a great Roomy 4 Bedroom (Two are Masters) 3 Full and 2 Half Bathrooms home great for a single family on a quiet cul-de-sac in Ocean Sands community of Corolla. Chill at the pool and keep warm in the Hot Tub.
Beach Access: About 2 Blocks via Lake Trail.

Upper Level: Greatroom with Living, Dining and Kitchen Areas; Powder Room; Sun Deck Access.

Our family had an amazing stay at the Chillax Inn beach house. It was a great location, the house was beautiful, and the pool and hot tub were perfection! We plan to book again in the same house! Thank you for the memories OBX 2025!

Great location in Corolla. 10 minute walk to beach. Pool is nice and although not heated gets plenty of sun to warm it up early in the season. Could use a nicer grill and some minor sink drainage clogging fixed, but overall very clean and good kitchen amenities. Rare find for a single family stay.

Perfect!

The property was exactly what we expected. The house was decorated very nicely and really gave us the "home" feel. Kitchen nicely stocked. We really enjoyed our stay and will defiantly be back!

Great beach house with pool

Everything is clean and organized. Pool is great. No complaints whatsoever. Beach is accessible by a trail about 3/10 of a mile. Nice neighborhood.

Perfect home away from home

Wow! What a wonderful place to stay with family! Clean house, well stocked kitchen (best I’ve seen), awesome pool set up and hot tub. Really can’t say enough positives about this house. Wish it was a little closer to the beach, but worked out perfect with me dropping off the family and supplies and then walking back the ten minutes to meet them. Kids adored the pool and hot tub and there was plenty of shaded places for those avoiding too much sun.

Great. Could use more sharp knives! First floor bedrm was perfect for 78 yr old for some quiet! Walk to the beach is a bit long for old or young folks. But most comfortable. Pool is perfect

We loved it here!!!

We traveled with our two teen daughters and two of their friends. So 4 teen girls total! They loved the house!!! Especially the rope swings on the second floor porch! The weather wasn’t great so having all the extra amenities in the house was such a blessing!!! The house is exceptionally cute! The hot tub and pool were larger than we expected with beautiful furniture. We will recommend this house to others for sure!!!

Great location, great pool

We stayed at Chillax Inn for a week in July. We had 3 adults, 3 teenagers and a 3 year old. Check in was easy, the rental company was very responsive, and we had most things that we needed for a week at the beach with kids. The kitchen & living area was comfortable for all of us and a bonus table on the top deck for meals together with a breeze. The pool & hot tub were amazing. The pool had multiple ledges for a toddler to splash and play with or wi th out floaties. The pool and hot tub were clean, there was great seating by the pool. There was a nice lake trail leading to the ocean (about 10 minute walk) and the house provided beach carts for carrying our gear. The beach itself was beautiful, not overcrowded. We were able to find groceries, restaurants and bike rentals 5 minute drive from the house. Pro tip is to book your golf cart rental before your trip. They were sold out when we arrived. The pillows in the rooms weren’t great and we lacked some of the extra bath towels we needed for the bathrooms, but the rooms were comfortable and the AC kept the whole house at a comfortable temperature. The first floor suite was nicely laid out and would be great for a MIL or a separate couple traveling with another family as it was very private and spacious. I would definitely recommend this house to families looking to split time between the house & being close to adventures at the beach!

Responsive Management; Decent Location

Great vacation in part because when the inevitable happened, and something went wrong, the management company was incredibly responsive. For example, we noticed the hot tub was dirty due to the cover degradation. We called first night, left message and the next morning at 8am they were emptying, refilling and balancing chemicals. When propane ran out, new tank appeared next morning. About the only negative is that the house did not have much in the way of toilet paper on arrival, which seems to be a bit of an oversight. The house location is as advertised, a bit of a walk to the beach, but not so long to be irritating even when carrying stuff. The house was clean and beds comfortable. We are planning our return next year and the only reason we are considering a different house is to be closer to the ocean so we could hear the waves as we eat dinner on the deck in the evening.

Perfect for our family of 7!

Our family enjoyed staying at Chillax Inn! It was the perfect size for 5 adults and 2 kids. The pool was great for days we didn't want to go to the beach. Only had a few issues that the property manager was able to take care of. Only cons would be a lot of stairs, which was kind of expected, and a little bit of a hike to get to the beach. Overall we had a great week!

Exceeded Expectations

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Communication with property management was seen less, the house was incredibly clean, and exactly as represented online. The pool and hot tub were beautiful with tons of seating options and shady areas. The beach wagon, chairs, and bikes were a wonderful bonus. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pans, serve ware and utensils. The location was very quiet and walking distance to shops and grocery store which was convenient. We were so pleased with everything we’re already deciding when we want to come back!

Spring Break Family Getaway

Our family of 5 had such a great time during our stay! This property is very tastefully decorated, clean and well kept. No issues with bug of any kind and well stocked with games, books and kitchen supplies. Despite it being windy and in the 40s during our stay we were able to spend lots of time outside, thanks to the hot tub! The house is a little over a mile to duck donuts and less than a mile from Tim buck II, easy walk with kids. It is a little further from the beach (about 3 blocks) than I was expecting and probably our only downside, lugging all the beach supplies necessary for kids was tough so my husband and I usually traded off dropping off the kids in the car and then biking back to the beach. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Spring Break

The home was very spacious, well appointed and very nicely decorated. The pool and hot tub were a great feature! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The only additional supply I would recommend is 1-2 more 2 qt pots for making things such as pasta, otherwise there was everything we needed. The home was a little further from the beach than expected, quite a way to walk with a lot of beach supplies-would recommend a cart on wheels to carry your beach gear-this would be a nice feature to have at the home. It is a short distance however by bike. We loved having the two bikes available, would recommend having 1-2 more for families. The multiple decks and outdoor tables were a great feature. The two living room areas were great for the family to spread out. The only maintenance issue we had was that the shower curtain rod fell and we were unable to get it back in place-recommend permanently mounting this to the wall. The home was very clean with only 2 items overlooked by housekeeping. We found a dental floss pick stuck in one of the couch pillows on the top level and there was a Qtip under the 2nd level queen bed. Kind of gross things to find, but overall the home was very clean. One last recommendation would be printed instructions on how to use the remotes for the TV/Cable. It took us about 30" to try to figure it out as it was different from our home system. Thanks for a great time away!

Perfect set up for a small family

We had a wonderful stay at Chillax Inn. Patti was very helpful and the no-contact check-in process and level of cleanliness were great! The only thing that could be updated would be the description of the bedding online. There is no king master even though it’s mentioned in one place on the website. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily rent again.

Get away with friends

We had a great stay at Chillax Inn. The property managers were quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. Be prepared for walking through hot sand to get to the beach, that’s my only tip!
