This lovely cottage is located on 1.6 acre plot right by the water. Here the kids can keep on all day with games and water activities on the basis of its own pier with a small sandy beach. The water is over 4 mil far with excellent conditions for kayaking and fishing (here you can catch both trout and tryte).
The cabin has all the amenities. Included in the rent:
- 16 foot rowboat with an outboard motor
- 2 fish kayaks
- 2 adult and 2 children bikes

We spent two weeks in the house with 2 adults and 4 kids and we had a fantastic time! The house is just perfect, extremely well equipped (there‘s literally nothing missing) and cosy. The view is breathtaking and you can relax from the first minute, since it‘s so calm. The boats were great for trips on the lake and fishing. The communication with the owner was always very friendly, fast and helpful in case of any question. In addition you get a handbook where you can check exactly how to handle everything in and around the house. We had unforgettable holidays and would love to come back next year!

Awesome place for the whole family

Great house with everything you need and perfect for a relaxing summer vacation. The house is directly located on the lake and equipped with few boats to spend the time not only at the lake but also on the water.

Fabulous

Came for the third time and will come definitely again. One of those places where you wish you could just stay for a few more weeks. If you are looking for a place to slow down without being bored this is just perfect.

Perfect stay

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely house with a very nice view on the lake. The calm and the quiet of the forest and the lake was perfect to relax. The house has everything you could imagine or want for sunny or rainy days. Our fishing success was moderate but the kids were happy. All the equipment of the house is as described in the offer and the detailed description (45 pages!) we received before arriving was impressive. Never had so many details beforehand! No open questions! We would definitely come back.

Es ist ein fantastisches Fleckchen Erde. Relaxen,viele Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien, Boot fahren in dem idealen Paddelgebiet mit vielen Inseln. Im Haus fehlt nichts, alles geschmackvoll und sauber eingerichtet. Zum Angeln ideal. Den Grill und die Tischtennisplatte haben wir natürlich auch genutzt, ebenso den Whirlpool mit Ausblick. Das Haus steht wunderbar, man hat einen unsagbaren Blick auf den See, man kann sich nicht sattsehen. Der Gepäcktransport auf die Insel war am Anreisetag zwar ungewöhnlich und abenteuerlich aber mit Boot und Schubkarren prima machbar (kleinere Gepäckstücke sind anzuraten)und für solch einem wunderbaren Urlaub immer wieder gerne. Danke an Rune!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus und können es definitiv weiterempfehlen. Die direkte Lage am See ist einfach traumhaft – herrlich ruhig und perfekt, um die Natur zu genießen und vom Alltag abzuschalten.Das Haus war sehr sauber, geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Aufgrund der guten Ausstattung (Boot, Kajak, Jacuzzi, Tischtennis etc.) ist für jeden etwas dabei. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Gastgeber: Er war jederzeit erreichbar, freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Man hat sich von Anfang an bestens betreut gefühlt.Wir würden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen!

Wir waren eine Woche mit 9 Personen in der Unterkunft. (8 Erwachsene 1 Kind) Die Ruhe und die Lage haben uns am meinsten gefallen. Die Ausstattung im Haus selbst war eine 10/10. Es hat an nichts gefehlt.

Ausstattung der Küche, Möblierung der Räumlichkeiten, IT-Infrastruktur wie auch die zur Verfügung gestellten Geräte für Freizeitaktivitäten sind hervorragend. Bei den Gästeunterlagen findet man auch gutes Kartenmaterial mit Vorschlägen für Wandertouren.Zum Haus gelangt man vom Parkplatz aus entweder über einen verschlungenen Fusspfad (ca. 350 m) oder per Boot. Deshalb sind gut zu tragende, nicht allzu voluminöse Gepäckstücke für Gäste zu empfehlen. Man kann dafür auch eine praktische Schubkarre verwenden, die beim Haus steht.Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem sauberen, komfortablen Haus mit der tollen Aussicht und Ruhe sehr genossen.

Relaxing with dad and brothers 2022

This is a spot and house you want to come back to. Verry correct, clear and friendly host. For us as family there was nothing to complain although we are pritty good in complaining. This house and host deserves a recomendasion. Well done.

Wunderschönes Haus in idyllischer Lage

Absolutely wonderful place!

We´ve spent a fantastic time at Vegarshei Summerhouse. It´s a lovely place on an island with entrance over a wooden bridge, surrounded by trees and built directly at the the lake with a wonderful view and an own landing stage. We often took the boat or canues to "visit" the small islands around or to go fishing. And we´ve caught some trouts, that could be prepared on the Weber-barbecue on the terrasse behind the house. The house is fitted with everything you need and much more (even a waffle- and sandwich maker, table-tennis....) and we really felt good! The owner Rune is very kind and particularly helpful. So we had a fantastic and perfect holiday- thanks to Rune from my whole family!

Fantastic Place

Spent our summer vacation here. Very quiet and peaceful place. Exactly what we were looking for. The house is brilliant. Equipped with everything you need. The combo of the house, the boats, the lake and the fact that we had 14d of sunshine made this a perfect holiday.

Großzügig geschnittenes Haus mit einem Traumausblick und allem ausgestattet was man braucht.

Hier gibt es Ruhe und Erholung pur! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der See direkt vor dem Haus lädt zum Angeln und Boot fahren ein. Das Baden stellt sich wegen dem weichen Boden etwas schwierig dar, aber in der Nähe gibt es eine schöne Badestelle die man nutzen kann. Das Haus ist mit allen Grundbedarfsmitteln ausgestattet. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Great Place to Relax with Family

We stayed at the house for a week in August. We found the house spacious, the kitchen very well equipped, the bedrooms cozy with plenty of space to leave our things. The two extensive porches are perfect to simply sit and relax or have a meal. The house being surrounded by wood gave our two children plenty of opportunity to explore wildlife, make crafts from twigs, wood and bark they found around the house. The berries they picked were very welcome. Being on an island in the middle of a lake gave us plenty of opportunity to make use of the boats that come with the house. We enjoyed going out several times a day exploring the lake and going to smaller islands to take a dip. We would definitely return if we got the chance.

Geweldig / Fantastic

Een geweldig huis op een geweldige locatie. Het hele huis is zeer ruim en licht. Zeer complete inrichting. Communicatie met eigenaar is zeer goed en zeer behulpzaam. Wij waren met 6 personen, meer dan voldoende woonruimte en tuimmeubilair. Aanrader als je houdt van natuur, varen, vissen, kanoën, zwemmen. De boten die bij de huur zijn inbegrepen zijn van goede kwaliteit (geen loze beloftes) De jaccuzi is een echte aanrader. Kortom; geweldig. A fantastic house on a fantastic location. The house is very clean, spacious and light. Communication with owner was very good and if needed he offered help and send very good information on forehand. the boats where of good quality and the jaccuzi is fantastic. If you like natur, fishing, boating, swimming this is the perfect spot.

Paradise!

Dear Rune Thank you for this wonderful week, we enjoyed it very much! The whole house has a very high standard, we found everything we needed. And the spot is just great! Getting up in the mornings, overlooking the peaceful lake, having breakfast in the sun, canoeing, kayaking or trying to catch a fish, swimming and picking blueberries, barbecueing at a never ending sunset, drinking wine at the fireplace-just like paradise!! Definitely a place to recommend... Thank you again for everything!
