Ask owner about available dates/rates. The perfect studio for a couple on their Hawaiian get-away who want to live like locals during their stay. Please inquire about your specific dates and we can try to accommodate your stay. This beautiful and spacious studio with 1 bathroom is kept immaculately with a shaded, private patio area with grass and lush landscaping for relaxing in a quiet neighborhood. Please inquire about your specific dates and we can try to accommodate your stay. Located close to the beach with the conveniences of Honolulu and the many nightlife activities in Waikiki. The new interior boasts air conditioning, hardwood floors, French doors, a large walk in closet, a comfortable King size bed & sofa, a flat screen tv, Apple TV for movies and a large spa shower with a handheld shower head. The living space is very spacious with a lot of natural lighting and cool breezes with the windows or doors open. The linen closet is full of fresh bath and beach towels. The studio is on the same property as the owners' home but totally separate and has its own private & gated entrance from the outside and has plenty of parking. It's just a short 10 minute walk to the beach where you can watch the sunrise each morning. Two beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a small cooler are available for your days at the beach.

The kitchenette is great for breakfasts and heating up meals with a Nespresso Evoluo coffee machine with Vertuo Line coffee capsules, a hot plate, electric tea pot, microwave, toaster over, mini fridge & outdoor gas BBQ. A closet is filled with dishes, cups, wine glasses, cutlery & anything else you may need during your stay. The linen closet stores bath and beach towels, a steam iron and a hair dryer. Located close to CVS and Wholefoods in case you are missing anything.

If you have any concerns about the property being on site with the owners home- don't think twice about that- the cottage is a separate structure and offers the privacy you desire when choosing to rent a vacation property. Ask owner about available dates/rates.

Amazing Space and Location!

We had our first empty-nester trip at Scott and Tara's studio, and we had such a fantastic time. The unit is located in a beautiful neighborhood, super clean, well-appointed, comfortable and Scott and Tara are so friendly and kind and communicative. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! Private, Quite Hide Away

Tucked away in a quite suburb, the studio is spacious and super tidy. The hosts are lovely people who were always happy to help. With the beautiful beach only a 10min walk away and easy access to local amenities you never had to go far to get what you need.

As a former local. Owing home for a couple of weeks, I know Kahala might be a good fit. It was great. Super convenient to hopping on H1 to see my parents. My BF had never been to Hawaii before and he loved the south shore. Scott is great! Very private.

Oahu Vacation

Our stay at Scott and Tara’s studio was perfect. From the booking process, to check-in, to the stay, to the check-out, everything was flawless. They made us feel more than welcome at their property and the unit was ideal for our needs. We utilized VRBO and selected the unit last minute after modifying our original vacation plans from Maui, and Scott and Tara helped save our trip for certain. The location of the unit is also a great home base for all aspects of exploring the island. We would definitely stay again should we find ourselves on Oahu once again.

Lovely Stay!

Quick and excellent communication with the host. Very welcoming and helpful. Extremely clean and comfortable rental. Exactly as pictured and described. Super comfy bed, amazing shower and everything one could possibly need. Fantastic location in a very quiet and charming neighborhood. Our favorite part was the little front area garden with the umbrella table and chairs. We had our coffee and breakfast outside each morning and enjoyed the beautiful flora and fauna in our little oasis. A true delight!

Quiet and Comfortable

Location is everything. The property is in Honolulu, yet miles from the hustle and bustle - or the noise and traffic - of Waikiki. The spacious room is comfortable and spotless. The front yard area exclusive to the unit has a gas grill in excellent working order. Right of way to a delightful beach is less than a ten minute walk away. Tara and Scott are gracious hosts. Everything was as advertised!

Can't wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay in Scott's Studio. We had everything we needed, all was clean, and bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the small outdoor seating area / porch as well. It was a great spot to have breakfast and close out each day. The location was great too, quiet and at the same time close to everything. Great food options nearby. We'll be dreaming of the next time we can make it back again. Mahalo Scott for being such a great host!

The Best

Well, it's 5 stars from the minute you walk in. But Scott gets more stars than that for his friendly, professional and great guy personality. The studio is in a gorgeous and safe neighborhood, you have easy parking and it's very private. It's 100% more private than a condo or a hotel hands down. There are upgraded amenities throughout. And the location is just pretty great. Also, don't book this cuz we want it to be available when we come back. Haha, just kidding! You should book it because it's super nice and you'll be happy.

Great place!

Scott was a great host. The place was located in a quiet neighborhood and very nice and clean. All the amenities if you would like to cook and eat in. A short walk to the beach. Great location Diamond head, the mall and access to H1. Loved sitting on the outside patio to have my morning coffee and read my book.

Great location to get to all parts of the island!

We had a great stay at the Kahala attached guesthouse! Scott and Tara where very helpful with everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable and smooth as possible. They even helped with retrieving an article of clothing I had left behind. The location is fantastic with easy access to Waikiki and all of Honolulu plus the nearby freeway entrance to get to other sides of the island. We appreciate our time spent at the Kahala house.

The Best!

So many wonderful things to say about the entire experience that I could write a novel. Our host Scott, the studio, the amenities, the local style decor, the location - all of it - top notch. And the large walk-in shower was a surprise plus that we loved. So many thoughtful details, including a drying rack for wet swimwear. A small favorite memory: one afternoon we fell asleep in the comfy chairs just outside the double doors leading to the studio - under the blue sky, sun beaming on our shoulders, with the fragrance of puakenikeni flowers wafting through the air. All we could hear were the mynah birds and tradewinds blowing through the trees. A true gem. Mahalo nui loa, Scott!

This studio apartment was perfect for our visit. We were able to walk to where our son's family was renting as well as the beach and shopping. Small appliances were thoughtfully chosen to allow some simple meals. We were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort. We would clearly consider this property again.

Home away from home..

My husband and I felt like we were at home. The studio was spacious, very clean and well maintained. There was a huge shower with plenty of towels and toiletries. The bed was very comfy with high quality linens. We parked right in the driveway steps away from the entrance. No parking fees here! Although we didn’t watch tv, there was a huge tv with cable access. There was plenty of supplies to have our breakfast and my all time favorite nespresso coffee. This truly made our stay there enjoyable. Thank you Scott for sharing your piece of paradise.

Perfect stay

Just as advertised, this beautiful spacious studio was just perfect for my visit. The location was so convenient to everywhere I needed to go, plus being in an upscale, safe neighborhood near a peaceful beach. It was nice to not to have to deal with crowds, traffic, parking lots, hotel lobbies and elevators during a pandemic. A home away from home.

This location was perfect for me and the place was lovely. It is close to Kahala Mall, parks and a quick drive into Waikiki. The quiet setting in a beautiful area was a wonderful retreat! Scott was a perfect host and responded very quickly to any communication. Great stay!
