Foothills Family Retreat- Hot Tub/Playset/Fire Pit/7 bedrooms!

Foothills Family Retreat was designed with families and large groups in mind. The wheelchair-accessible cabin is pet-friendly (pet fee applies*) and work-friendly and features a hot tub, playground, volleyball court, fire pit, ping pong table, over 1100 sf of covered porch space, and more. The cabin is located in Lumpkin County, near Dahlonega, and is also convenient to Cleveland, Helen, and many popular wineries and wedding venues.

This cabin has a very quiet, peaceful setting, and White Dog Farm, which offers horseback riding lessons, is only a quarter mile down the road. Whether you’re here for a reunion or a retreat or just to sit by the fire roasting marshmallows after a day of hiking, this is the place for you.

We designed this cabin as a retreat away from it all because we believe in simplicity. We also believe families that play together, stay together. That’s why we provide a volleyball court and horseshoe pit, as well as badminton, whiffle ball, soccer, bocce, ping pong, and board games for those rainy days.

This cabin sleeps up to 16 people. It sits on seven acres with another smaller cabin on the other side of the property, which can be booked for up to six additional guests. The playground and volleyball court are shared access with the other cabin. Guests have access to the entire cabin, and I am available as needed. Important things to know:
• Pets are allowed with our pet fee of $100 plus tax per pet. If you've added pets to your reservation, one pet fee will be included and we will manually charge for additional pets after booking. Please inquire before booking if you have more than 5 pets.
• There is a $37 damage protection waiver included in the base rate for this property. It covers guests for up to $750 in accidental damages if a guest reports damage that happens during their stay. Intentional damage, unreported damage, or anything exceeding $750 will be charged to the guest's payment method.
• We offer travelers insurance if you're worried you may have to cancel your trip for any reason. More info can be found at the end of the listing description.
• We provide 5 starter trash bags, 1 roll of paper towels, bar soap, hand soap, toilet paper, and plenty of towels and linens.
• We offer firewood available on-site to purchase for $10 per 1 cubic ft bundle (including tax). We can also arrange a delivery of 50 pieces for $60 (including tax) if you let us know 7 days before your stay. Please message us if you are interested.
• The gas to the fireplace is turned off from May 1 to October 1.
• We have a Blackstone flat-top propane grill, and we provide propane.
• Check-in is at 4 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m. Early check-ins are possible, but subject to availability and a $30 per hour fee, rounded to the nearest hour. Late checkouts are generally not available, but if we can make an exception, the fee is $30 per hour.
• The address will be sent to you at the time of your booking, and your check-in information will be sent to you two days out from your stay.
