We were looking for cabin ON the water. We found it!!!!

If not going to use bbq or microwave, you need to bring a hotplate, electric skillet or something. Bring paper plates and drinkware, utensils and dishsoap. They supply 2 coffeecups and spatulas for bbq along with coffee pot and coffee. Beds were comfortabe, bathroom towels, washrags and soap supplied, bring your own shampoo. Little creek on backside Granddaughter had a ball, caught 5 little perch and had company. Shadow the dog is excited by visitors. He kept her company. In the mornings, we set on front porch watching fish jump, ducks passing by and in the distance was a very big bullfrog voicing his opinions. Next time we will bring hummingbird feeder They were mistaking our lantern for a feeder. We will be back

Great if you want surrounded by people 24/7

I just needed a quiet place to regroup and I understand that the owners wanted to make sure I had a good time and make a person feel welcome. But they came in and out of the cabin at will were always over I needed a get away from people and having to communicate just sit read and watch nature. Didn't happen

Nice weekend getaway

Perfect little cabin for a couple’s getaway. The owners were very nice and live right off the property. They were very friendly and even gave us little souvenirs to take back home with us. The river runs right off the front of the cabins. The fishing wasn’t great but we did manage to snag 3 while we were there for 2 days. We knew there wasn’t a stove to cook so we brought microwaveable food which was a nice break from cooking anyways! There is a grill if you wanted to grill though. There is also a nice place to gather around a fire pit as well. Less time preparing food gave more time to enjoy the quietness and the view. We took advantage of the paddle boats that are right in front of the cabins as well. It was perfect. We would definitely come back again!

Relaxing and Quiet

The cabins are great with small personal touches and the hosts were very attentive and kind. They are conveniently located close enough to the necessities, but still far enough out to feel isolated. There are neighbors, but I sometimes forgot they were there. The creek is very cool and the water was amazingly clear. I would definitely recommend and may need to come back.

Very pretty!

The river is really pretty and the cabins are cute. They are closer together than we expected so it’s more of a community vibe so to say. Our propane had to be shut off due to a strong smell, so no hot water and a massive headache. The owner was prompt in checking out the issue and offered to change out the tank. I opted to have it turned off altogether to be on the safe side. We specifically went to snorkel but unfortunately the River/creek has a lot of vegetation that made that not possible. We did have a blast fishing right off the dock. Paddle boat was also fun! Great place for fishing and pretty views!

Peaceful location

Wish there was a cook top or at least better grill. Somehow I thought there would be more than a microwave, coffee pot, and mini fridge. The grill available was park style with large spaces between grates not feasible for burgers. I recommend packing a small grill or electric griddle. Cabin was very rustic. Owners are friendly.

Just what we needed!!

This place is a little oasis in west Texas! The cabins are quaint and have everything you need and the paddle boat was so much fun! The water is crystal clear and my boys fished for hours. The owners were by far the best hosts we have had out of all of our rentals. We will most definitely be going back soon!

This place was awesome. Beautiful cabin views and very peaceful.Would recommend to family and friends. The owners were very friendly. The guests at the other cabins were friendly and courteous as well.

If you like to fish, this is the place for you!

Randy and Vickie are so kind and personable! This is a great place to unplug and get back to nature! Will tell our friends about this hidden getaway! We see ourselves visiting again!
