After a day at the nearby park and beach, kick back on the deck and warm yourself by the outdoor firepit at this cozy Christina Lake cottage. This dog-friendly getaway is within walking distance of the beach and other local amenities. Play a game of tennis or pickleball while the kids enjoy the Christina Lake Community Playground, all right around the corner from this cozy cottage.

What's nearby:
This house is located a few hundred yards from the public beach in Christina Lake Provincial Park. Around the corner from the house, there are public tennis and pickleball courts and a children's playground. The Christina Lake Golf Club and Cascade Par 3 golf course are only a short drive away, as are some of the local shops and restaurants.

Spacious 70s style

I loved the amount of space that this home offered and the closeness to the beach. It wasn’t modern but everything worked perfectly, it was super clean and I liked the original style. For the amount of room the price was great. We used both deck areas. Would definitely book again.

Very quiet

The place is older but very well equipped and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Has very nice covered decks. Very quiet. We definitely will be back.

This little cottage was perfect for a mothers and daughters summer trip. Clean and roomy, it had everything we needed and was close enough to the beach for a fabulous time!

Comfortable, convenient location

Lazy days cottage was great location. 4 to 5 minutes from the lake/beach. WIFI at the lake is very slow to none at some time, if you are depended on it. The gate to the park closes at 8pm, if you drive in or you can park anywhere on the street if allowed. Has all your essentials/great WIFI, clean, dog friendly cottage, there is a little bit of scent. Lots of space for everyone, patio at the back and in the front. Lots of games for the kids and other entertainment, great for longer stays. We did not use the BBQ or the therefore, therefore, no comments. WIFI included once checked in which was smooth. I had to call Vacasa to help me out with locking the door. They answered very quickly and helped me out. Overall, we are pleased with the cottage and Vacasa services.

1970's vibe

We enjoyed the 70's vibe of this manufactured home/double wide. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the putdoor space. Enough space for 4 adults. Great proximity to the Christina Lake hall where our event was being hosted.

Here are some positive notes regarding our stay. The property had all the amenities. Beds were super comfy. We loved the deck area with bbq. Now, some things the property management could improve on. Upon arrival, we were given the incorrect key code to gain entry into the property. After several calls to the management company, and half hour later, the problem was resolved. The inside was tidy, but there could be some improvement for cleaning. (Dog hair on floor, and on chairs outside on the deck). Lastly, when we went to use the bbq the propane tank was empty, so we went to the gas station to fill it. Overall, could improve on cleaning, and making sure there is propane. Would we stay there again? yes.

Upon arrival, we were given the wrong key code to access the property. After several phone calls to the property management, we were finally able to gain access. Not a great start after a long day of driving. The place itself was ok but had a musty smell to it. And upon further inspection, we noticed dog hair on the floor and outside on the chairs. Overall, the place was comfortable, with all the amenities. Very nice seating area on the deck with a bbq, but to our disappointment, the propane tank was empty. We went and filled it. We would stay again, but the place could have been cleaner.

A quiet little get away

Not a fancy place but just right for a quiet little get away. Vacasa was excellent to deal with. They were responsive to adjustments to my booking and kept me informed on everything we needed to know for our stay. The manager showed up as we were leaving and was lovely. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach, which was very convenient in the hot weather.

I would stay again. It had clean comply beds. It is old and needs some deep cleaning. The front porch area was dirty with debris a dog hair. That was nota good first impression. The kitchen has lots of everything, except a corkscrew. It was good as a family meeting place. The location is very good and easy to find. All in all was a good experience.

Awesome location, great summer rental place

Awesome location, just 5 min walk to the one of the best public beaches in Christina Lake. House has lots of storage and also an abundance of water floats and toys for kids. Kitchen is very well equipped, may need fee more soup bowls, but it's minor. Lots of pans and pots, enough glassware. Towels and bedding is extremely clean, nice touch with supply of beach towels. Floors can be washed little better though. Jacqueline is very responsive and fast with any requests. Overall it was an excellent summer rental place..we are definitely coming back. Thank you for great times!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Dayz cottage. It had everything we needed as a family of 4, was quiet, good WI-FI, nice water pressure and was only 5 minutes away to the public beach. While the cottage and decor is old, we found it very comfortable for our needs and to our surprise there was a nice new big screen TV which you don’t see in the photos. We plan to return next summer for our next vacation.
