Excellent host and property

Wonderful cabin and beautiful setting. Host was excellent in communication and we had a great stay. I would highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at the Grizzly Inn cabin! Host provided all the details needed in advance of our arrival. Check in/out was a breeze and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Super cozy weekend with the gas logs, beds slept great, tons of deer all around the cabin every day and our pup loved his walks down the driveway and road. Only 10 min to the “village” part of town and slopes up on the mountain and Banner Elk was a quick drive also. We look forward to coming back!

We had a great stay over the holiday weekend. The mountain was busy but the Grizzly Inn was quiet and cozy. Everything was clean and the kitchen has anything you might need to prepare a meal. Very close to all the winter activities on Beech Mountain and also 15-20 mins to Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk. It snowed while we were there and AWD was helpful for getting around. Hosts were available throughout our stay. We loved spotting the deer in the mornings. Perfect little spot for our family of 4.

Perfect Cabin

This was our 2nd visit to the Grizzly Inn and it did not disappoint. It was impeccably clean, had everything we needed and is in a beautiful location. The addition of the deck furniture and heater was wonderful. I can’t say enough about this cabin. It is the perfect getaway.

Ski Trip at the Grizzly Inn

We had another wonderful ski weekend at Beech Mountain and the Grizzly Inn! It's a perfect place for our family of four to enjoy the mountains. Everything looks and feels new and there always seems to be a new feature or upgrades every year. And it's just a few minutes drive to the slopes! We'll keep coming back!!

Much Needed Getaway

The Grizzly Inn was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed. We’ve stayed in Beech cabins over the last 15 years. I can honestly say this one truly had everything we needed. I showed up with all the essentials I would normally need to bring (toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags, ziplock bags, spices, coffee, etc). I never needed to open one thing I brought. They truly thought of everything! The amenities were abundant, the hosts were immediate in their correspondence, and the property was perfect. I’d recommend this property to any small family of 5 or less.

Quaint, rustic AND modern mountain cabin.

This is a very comfortable, well cared for cabin with all the convienences of home. Interior space is very clean, new appliances, nice beds and a well lit partially screened rear porch. Gas grill on the porch is clean and there is an outdoor patio propane heater with backup fuel for both. Plenty of modern amenities for the stuck inside days, including a micro weather station that we thought was a nice touch. The driveway entrance and exit are gravel and were easily navigable with an AWD vehicle. It is worth mentioning that first arrival, if at night, does require attention to be payed to the location of the entrance as the exit is a much steeper approach to the cabin. I will note that the exit is clearly marked with a sign. Parking for 2 medium/full sized vehicles is adjacent to the cabin and off the road with marker poles for safety. Close to town, the slopes and trails but quiet with a remote feel. Exceptional communication from owners. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean, cozy, and comfortable. We especially loved the screened-in porch—it was the perfect spot to relax, and we even had a few deer visit us one morning! The location was also very convenient, just about 10 minutes from the center of town. We would definitely stay here again!

This cabin is very cozy/cute. We loved it. Had some problems setting up TV streaming, but that is par for me, not a reflection of the rental. We had a long nap in the rain on the covered deck...amazing!!! Very well equipped and the owners were very accommodating. We didn't need anything. Definitely would rent again.

Loved our stay! Place felt secluded and the back porch was super peaceful. We had our dogs and it was perfect for them. Host messaged when we checked in to make sure everything was ok. Definitely would love to come back!

Perfect Mountain Cabin

The Grizzly Inn was the perfect cabin for us. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The screened in deck is a great addition. We made friends with so many deer that stopped by, went on several hikes, had s’mores by the fire, and enjoyed games at the dining table and movies on the couch. We had everything we needed, the cabin just felt like home. We can’t wait to return to the Grizzly Inn!!

Good for the soul

My husband and I stayed at the property for an entire month in the summer and absolutely loved it! The owners were fantastic, accommodating, and very responsive. We did lots of cooking, and they had everything we could need. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was so good we were both able to work when needed, and use our streaming services. We saw all sorts of wild life, and I could feel my blood pressure drop as I sipped my coffee on the porch with the beautiful view :) This place is absolutely lovely, as are the people who own it. We will definitely be back!

Awesome cabin

Great cabin, very clean, new and equipped with all you might need. Property is quite private, yet only minutes away from Beech mtn ski place. Communication with owners was without any glitches. Will definitely be coming back.

Great place

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was the perfect size for our family, and it’s far enough away from the crowds but still close to everything we wanted to do. We cooked together in the kitchen and grilled on the deck. Our 4 year old wants to return to the same cabin next year because of the lovely deer walking the property each morning when we awoke.

great hide away

We had a great stay for 3 months this is a great location. close to Tennessee. We Went to Bristol great BBQ there. we Also went to Johnson City and Jonesboro great Distillery there. Then we were able to Stomp the grapes in Linville Winery. Beech Mountain food is high paid 25 dollars foe a pizza but the Food lion is great, Hiked in Roan Mountain , saw the change of leaves. the cabin has an eclectic fire place very nice for cold mornings, Very quiet and golf coarse very close by. We Loved it!

Great escape

The cabin was clean and cozy with everything we needed for the perfect family getaway. Close to the the ski slopes and restaurants with all the conveniences of home. Hope to visit again soon!

Cozy getaway

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. No cell phone service so ensure you disseminate the house number to those who need it. Also, ensure the convenience trash center tag is the original and not a duplicate or you'll be unable to drop off the trash.

Great weekend in the mountains

Was a great home base that everyone enjoyed including our pup! Quick drive to the mountain, well stocked kitchen, cozy couch and the kids loved playing Battleship and Clue! We spent the weekend at Hawksnest and Beech playing in the snow! Driveway def needs 4wD if it's poor weather! We look forward to going back sometime!

Beautiful Clean Cabin

We wanted our kids first snow experience to be memorable. This was the best decision we could make. A dream cabin with a great layout and upgrades throughout. Even our family dog felt at home. Will definitely book again.
