Log Home/Lodge Getaway

Over 3800 sq ft of relaxation/getaway space to enjoy a quick weekend with friends/family or spend the week enjoying the quiet outdoors and nature around you. Sit by the fire in the evening, BBQ, sip some coffee on the deck. Talk a walk in the woods, drive to Clarksville Missouri, catch a movie at the Senate Theater. You choose how to relax.

30 minute drive from Interstate 70. All the amenities of home, peace and quiet. Bring the family, make it a girls weekend, maybe just a quiet weekend with you and your spouse. Whatever you decide, come enjoy this Log Home/Lodge. Unfortunately, no WIFI, we want folks to unplug and just enjoy by visiting with each other and connecting in conversation.

Great Family Getaway!

Amazing cabin to stay at! Beautiful view! Enjoyed no Wi-Fi actually! Had more time with our kids playing board games and hanging out! Located in a great place, far enough out to enjoy the quiet, but close enough to town if you needed anything! Will be staying again!

Perfect staycation

With everything going on, my family and I decided to do a staycation this summer. It was perfect. The house had ample space. Everything we needed was there. There is a grocery store near by with amazing customer service as well. Great experience over all!

Weekend Family Getaway

This property is Amazing!! We had everything we needed to get away for the weekend and enjoy being with our adult children. We enjoyed the fire pit out side but if it got chilly we were able to move inside and start a fire in the fireplace and have fun in the large family room. We played tons of games or just sat around and talked for hours. If you want to just get away and unplug this is the place to do it. Oh yes and the beautiful views were a bonus!!

Beyond Expectation

The pictures don't do this home justice (probably shouldn't say that). Off the beaten path and a bit tricky at first to find but once you do - wow. Very, very spacious, fantastic décor, all the bed were so comfy, well-equipped kitchen and best of all, the privacy. From morning walks to watching the sunset on the porch, this is an exceptional find. The host Michelle was so accommodating and made everything seamless. Noon checkout is greatly appreciated. I rarely raved about a stay as much as I have with this one. A GEM!

Amazing Cabin!

The cabin and the property were amazing and welcoming :) The kitchen is WELL stocked with things you have at home....crock pot, immersion blender, and a rice cooker even! Plenty of towels in all the bathrooms and the rooms were so spacious! Tall ceilings, outrageous fireplace, so many hummingbirds! We truly had an awesome time and are excited to book again in the future! Thank you for sharing your place with us :)

The cabin is beautiful and secluded for a wonderful romantic getaway. It was so nice to get away from the city hustle and bustle and slow down to relax. It was worth every cent we spent for the vacation.

Nice, private getaway

The house is beautiful and homey despite the size. My only concern was the spiral staircase. Not the best for small children in terms of safety. Other than that, the place is a great place to take a family for a getaway or event. Lots of great things.

We really enjoyed the cabin. There are so many beautiful details from the fireplace to the spiral staircase that make it really unique. It was a beautiful property. We talked to the owner and she gave us excellent directions making it easy to find.

Enjoyed our week in the Elsberry log home

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week in the country in this beautiful home. It really has a “wow” factor when u walk in. Majestic timber everywhere with lovely decorations welcoming you to enjoy the “lodge”. The wood-burning fireplace was perfect and the owners provided tons of split wood so we could enjoy the fire all week. The beds were comfortable and the lodge had lots of room to relax and play games/enjoy meals with the family. The kitchen though it was small, was wonderfully stocked with anything you would possibly need to prepare meals. The only suggestion would be to somehow diminish the strong odor that the water supply (from the well) produced throughout the bathrooms, sinks, and showers. Exciting to know that a finished basement will be coming in the next year (maybe having a pool table or ping pong table?) to add even more options to relax and unwind. Thank you for opening up this beautiful home for us to enjoy :)
