Seaside Inn is located on a fairly-level sandy lane within two minutes walking distance from the shore. The location is awesome! We’re nestled in the jungle away from all the bustle of the beach but close enough to enjoy the restaurants, bars and activities West Bay has to offer.

We have a beautiful private pool! Our guests can lounge around our pool for a lazy vacation day or enjoy a nice evening cocktail after a hard day of playing on the island. Our pool is not open to the public – it is for Seaside Inn’s private use :).

A delicious breakfast will be served 6 days a week. We have a wonderful daily special gourmet choice, along with a second hearty choice of potatoes/eggs/ham or bacon/toast or a lighter option: yogurt parfait with homemade granola layered with non-fat vanilla yogurt, topped with fresh fruit. There are also “Grab & Go” choices such as bagel and cream cheese.

Unlike the mega resorts, we are a small private resort which provides our guests with a calm, quiet retreat away from the crowds. We cater to our guests and strive to provide a wonderful stay on this incredible island.

We have 5 rental units available at this time. The Gecko is a detached 1 bedroom bungalow with a full kitchen, living area, bedroom and bath - VRBO Listing #564852 and the Toucan and Macaw are studio suites - VRBO Listings #564850/564851 - each with kitchenettes and a private tiled bath. The Seahorse is a beautifully tiled studio suite with two XL twin pillow-top beds arranged as bunk beds. This listing is for the Macaw Suite. The Macaw is a beautifully tiled studio suite; with a King pillow-top bed or your choice of two extra long pillow-top twin beds, a kitchenette and a beautiful tiled bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchenette has a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, blender, sink and refrigerator. It comes complete with dishware and utensils. Your studio suite has modern split, quiet air conditioning and a ceiling fan.

A large covered tiled balcony welcomes you as you exit the Macaw suite. This guest balcony offers seating along with hammocks and opens to the crystal clear pool. You have a view of the jungle where you’ll be watching the iguanas, birds and other wildlife.

Just so you know what to pack and what to buy at the local grocery store, each rental unit has:

• 2 beach towels

• local cell phone

• in-room safe

• hair dryer

• flashlight

• alarm clock

• blender, toaster, microwave, coffee maker

• basic supplies: toilet paper, coffee filters, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, salt & pepper

• 5-gallon bottle(s) of water

• full set of dishes & glasses plus assorted plastic tumblers and wine glasses for use by the pool

• pots and pans are provided in the Gecko Bungalow for the 2 burner stove-top

There is a washer and dryer for guest use (you can keep your luggage to a minimum :) conveniently located on the guest balcony along with a small freezer stocked with cubed ice. Our rates include cable TV (over 100 channels) and free WIFI. All towels and linens are provided. We also have an automatic standby generator to handle any power outage - so don't worry, your air conditioning will stay running all night, you'll always have hot water and feel the cool breeze of your ceiling fan!

Beacher's restaurant and Argentinian Grill provide our guests free beach lounge chairs! You never have to worry about trying to find a beach chair or paying for one to rent!

If you’re a diver, there are plenty of dive centers located on the beach at the end of our road. If you love to snorkel then you’ll be glad to know that Roatan is surrounded by a fantastic close-in reef just feet from the shore.

West Bay beach is stunning, crystal clear turquoise water with a white sandy beach. And it’s all just a short stroll from our property where there are many restaurants, bars and resorts offering activities such as para-sailing or deep sea fishing! At the nearby West Bay Mall, our guests enjoy the coffee shop and convenience market with delicatessen that also offers a take-out menu!

As you walk down to the beach, the public dock is conveniently located to your right where you can catch a water taxi to the tourist town of West End for more shopping, diving, and of course, more snorkeling! Island tours are available by water and land taxis to whisk you away for a day at the spa, zip lines, the Iguana Park, and much, much more!
